I shopped around for a 4-wheel "spinner" for quite some time, and I couldn't find a better one than this. It is light, has plenty of storage, rolls very well, feels durable and well-constructed, and looks great! The organizers on the inside are tremendously useful, too. You can open up the suitcase, and nothing falls out and it's exactly where you put it. The outside pockets are great, too. The lower pocket is perfectly designed to care an iPad snuggly. You can certainly find a less expensive spinner (check out Tumi and Samsonite), but if you compare them side-by-side, you'll see that this one is far superior.

Love, love, love it. Three outside zipped pockets make all the difference to Rimowa's already superb quality and features.

am a road warrior (Delta Diamond and roll over miles every year). I never check luggage. If I can't carry it on, I don't need it. I have owned a lot of carry-ons. Including very high and very low end bags. This one is absolutely the bomb. I bought it thinking that I could send it back if the price was not justified. It is, and then some. I think the only thing I would change would be to add a grab handle at the bottom of the bag. But really, this bag is simply the best. It rolls with 1 finger. It can be packed super tight. The panels that secure your stuff means that when you open it every thing is exactl as it was packed. The external pockets are super usable for large and small items (they have to be pretty thin, but your small gear and paper work of any dimension will fit in one of the 3 zippered pockets. It is super light. You will not waste pounds on the bag. Plus, it is gorgeous. I mean drop dead sexy.

This suitcase is a bit like Mary Poppins' carpet bag: it holds a lot! We have a (slightly) bigger one, the cabin multiwheel, which is too big for a 4-day getaway. This size is perfect. Packed 4 changes of clothes and nothing was wrinkled (courtesy of plastic dry cleaner bags and the interior boards), and had room for a few new purchases. Looks like a Hershey's Kiss, easy to find at baggage claim, durable and maneuverable. Altogether, a perfect bag!

I have a large Rimowa and love it. So I splurged for the carry on. After looking at the hybrid and the regular carry-on, I decided the hybrid had the best of both worlds. It was perfect for a 3 day business trip and I love the zip pockets on the outside. They will fit an iPad, file folders, and lots of things.

Terrific. So easy to push versus two-wheeled bags. Outside pockets are great for iPad, travel docs, etc.

Yeah yeah, this piece of luggage is stupidly expensive. Really expensive. But, you will have it forever. It holds everyhing, and then some, for a 10 day trip (not that much in the kangaroo pockets, though). On the other hands, if I had to choose, I would stick with the regular Rimowa cabin multiwheel option - it is way cheaper and holds the same amount and never quits. I love Rimowa, I should be a spokesperson for their products!

Couldn't be happier with this purchase - well worth every penny. Looks so professional and high-quality, is lightweight, love the outside pockets esp for business travel & my iPad...going through security is a dream when I can easily grab my laptop from the side pocket (my laptop is 14 inches Toshiba Portege, and it easily fits in the outside pocket! It easily passes through as a carry-on - with no issues. My Tumi luggage was 10 years old and I am so glad I tried this brand instead. I knew the reviews couldn't be wrong!

Admittedly, I have only used this luggage on one trip so far but I have more travel coming. It has exceeded my expectations and I have very high expectations. It appears small, much smaller than my prior piece of carry on but I wanted a carry on that I did not have to worry about fitting in the overhead bins. This thing fits in just about any bin you encounter. No need to put it in side ways. The amazing thing is how much you can pack into it. I had no trouble packing a weeks stay in. Part of the secret is the way the flat divider board can be cinched down hard and velcroed holding the items very flat in the suitcase and minimizing storage space. This is the best packing system I have used and I have owned a ton of suitcases including hartman, Tumi and many others. I used to average over 150K miles per year but now it is down to about 60K miles. The wheels on this thing roll very easily and it is a one finger push on hard floors and not too much more effort on carpet. The outer pockets are fantastic for carrying and accessing a lot of different items from keys to laptops to iPads. Papers and boarding passes or passports go easily too. It is an expensive bag and I hesitated on ordering it for that reason. After purchasing and looking at the quality of construction and materials it is easy to tell why. After using it I am even more convinced. I will update this review after I have more miles on it. Bottom line for me is that this is the best I have found and I am a luggage nut due to my travels.

Road warrior here. Hands down, best bag I have ever owned and a covert although the bag is an investment. Giving away old Tumis, Briggs, Samsonites and have bought 2 carry ons. Well constructed, light, and outside bags great for things that u take out before sitting (if outside bags are overpacked, doesn't always fit in overhead. I can get away for a week with it. Moves like a dream and great for stacking briefcase on top so rolls easily. Easy to pack and like the way it opens. All in all, have never loved a bag like this before.

Worth every penny! This fantastic carry-on is both beautiful and supremely functional. It looks heavy but is in fact quite light. The four-wheel attribute means stability when you are running toward the gate, something I experience quite often. Inside not just straps, but a whole flap to press your clothes. Outside zipper pockets mean your laptop and other necessaries are at your finger tips. Nothing bad about this beauty. Brilliant!

One of the best Rimowa I've owned. Those 3 zippered pockets makes all the difference in the world! The small pocket fits your ID cards, cell phone, change, and passport. The one below it will hold your iPad, and other slightly larger items. The largest pocket is my favorite - it holds my 13" MacBookPro + 2~3 magazines. I travel often with the 32" Salsa Deluxe, and I'm glad I got the Hybrid for the cabin version instead of the just regular. Functionality of the pockets is just awesome. Only complaint is the telescopic handle will lose it's length setting (slips) if overall weight is too heavy (25 lbs+).

Looks great, works so-so. The clamshell arrangement would work well for several layers of flat items. Does not work well for bulkier items. Zippers are finicky. Would not order again at 1/4 the price.

Have had others from Rimowa and though brand gets high marks from others I just don't think it's worth the price. I had one Salsa and the inside pocket mesh ripped within a year. Tried this bag after reading multiple reviews and warning: if you pack the front pockets, the bag tips over. It's unstable, which is the last thing you need when you're in the act of travel. I returned the bag. Will go with other brands in the future.

The suitcase is wonderful! It has outside pockets which are convenient when traveling were putting in the overhead compartment of the airplane. Great on wheels and easy to use. I have a 32 inch suitcase also.

The bag is awesome, but dealing with Zappos was beyond uber mega awesome. My first bag arrived without the dividers and inserts that are supposed to be included. I called Zappos, and they really went the extra mile to make sure I had a new bag (overnight!) and that everything was perfect. The Rimowa is a good replacement for my late lamented Titan, murdered by Delta. And Zappos gained a customer for life.

This is a great carry on bag. The pockets give you a place to store you iPad and toiletries without unzipping the whole bag to get into it. It is small enough that it frequently will fit in the smaller planes where a regular carry on won't go. I have a large Rimowa bag as well. My only hesitation is that they open flat and pack on both sides rather than all one side. This is fine but they don't work with luggage racks.

I love this bag. But watch out for Frontier airlines if you actually want to use the front pocket for the convenience of pulling out a laptop at security. The quoted height here of under 8" must be with nothing at all in the front pockets. With my laptop in its sleeve in the front pocket, it did not fit in the sizer box at the gate. I had to pull out the laptop to carry on board and check the bag last night. I do not know that I can use this bag as a carryon anymore, given Frontier's new policy of making everyone, including Summit travelers who have used the same bag for weeks without issue, use the sizer box before boarding.

Bought a Salsa Deluxe Hybrid. After less than a year of use the extendable handle came completely apart during a trip. Very poor workmanship, for a supposedly quality bag. Don't wast your money!
