I loved these boots, but I am returning them because they will not fit over my calf. I never thought I had wide calves till now. I am an average sized women at 5'4" and 160 pounds. Maybe I am fat. Anyways I am sending them back for a bigger size, or wide calf version. These are beautiful boots, I love the color, feel and look. I just wish they fit.

Love these boots. Put them on as soon as I got home and wore them to walk the dog, go to dinner, etc. Super cute, elegant, and comfy. I thought they might run small, so I ordered a 9, but should have ordered true to size 8.5. Love them and considering buying another color. Also, the quality of the leather is impressive. I'd expect to see it in a $300-$400 boot.

I love these boots. They are stylish and can be dressed up or down. I find them to be a bit more comfortable than another pair of Etienne Aigner boots that I own, but I found the sizing to be different from the other pair as well. I have normal width feet and I have found these to be a little tight. After several wears they have stretched out a small amount, but you may want to order 1/2 a size up to accommodate for the width. Otherwise they are comfortable for walking around town or sitting around the office.

I really like this boot! I was looking for something that was classy and would go with anything, but had a slight edge and these boots are it. The little emblem on the side is cute and makes the boot look expensive. The calves are a bit tighter than other boots I've tried on, but I still have room once I zip it up. I have thinner calves, but are also muscular and they fit fine. If you have bigger calves this boot isn't for you. There isn't anything I don't like about this boot!

Love these boots! They are the perfect riding boot, casual but not too clunky and they look great with casual skirts or jeans without being too hot for wearing indoors all day long.

These boots are gorgeous. Beautiful color and texture and style. Unfortunately I have to send them back because they are too tall (I'm 5'3), tight at the top of my foot (but I do have high arches) and they are too tight around my calves (I think I have normal calves). So if you're tall with skinny legs, narrow feet, and low arches, these would be perfect!

The black boots are awesome. I have athletic calves and they fit nice and snug. Wore them with skinny jeans and stretch pants. Took a while to find some black riding boots...so happy to find them that fit so well.

Perfect for skirts and dresses. I really like that the shape of the boot matches the shape of my leg and they aren't shaped like stove pipes. They're very flattering and I got lots of compliments. I ordered 8 1/2 and 9 and then returned the smaller ones. Zappos, I love you.

I don't normally write reviews, but I had to in this purchase. I bought the black and the banana bread versions during the Black Friday sale. I was a little put back by spending so much, but the mark down, and the fact that these are such high quality boots makes it worthwhile. I received them fast and easy (Zappos rocks), and I'm in love! They fit great and exactly what I imagined. Here are the details: tight around the calf, so if you have large calves, do your research. They give you the circumference, which I measured beforehand. I wanted a snug boot, and these are great. Not much gap at all. (I'm 5'6, 125lb). They are great quality leather, smell nice and look great. They need to be worked in a little after getting them because they are stiff. Upper leather is the highest quality of leather you can get Get these shoes if you are sick and tired of buying crappy boots every winter. Eventually these guys are going to pucker out, but just the soles. I bought these boots knowing I'll pay for repairs in the future instead of brand new boots.

I love my Etienne Aigner boots. They are worth the money and you can tell that they are a quality leather boot. I have worn them all day in comfort with a lot of walking. I highly recommend these boots.

Beautiful boot. High quality and looks elegant and well crafted. Color is rich and luxurious. Very happy with the purchase. So happy, in fact, that I ordered these in a second color (banana bread) just 2 weeks later!

These boots are take out of the box and wear. Anyone with problem feet knows that usually a gradual wearing has to be done. The leather is soft but holds its shape well. I was able to add a slim orthotic; however sizing is 'true'. I like the fact that they really are knee high, not just wannabes. I actually ordered two pair--- kept the Anne Kleins as well. :) Zappos again!

I LOVE these boots. I get so many compliments on them. They are comfy and look fabulous on, like true riding boots. The quality is great, I know if I take care of them they will last a long time. They look fantastic with dresses and leggings, or with skinny jeans tucked in. I have thin calves and they didn't gap hugely, but I'm sure someone with larger calves would find these boots comfy as well. I will say that this shade of brown does not go with as many of my outfits as my darker brown boots, but who cares? When I do wear these, I feel like a million bucks!!!

Very cute and classy boots. Love the richness of the color and the perfect height. Haven't worn it on the long day, so not sure how comfortable it is.

After so many good things said for these boots, I am really sorry to say, but these boots didn't work out for me. I fell in love once I saw them and ordered them the next day. Once they arrived it was huge disappointment. I didn't like the quality of the leather at all. I think they are overpriced and they look much better on the picture than in person. The only good thing I can say is they are true to size. I have a few TIMBERLAND BOOTS and I probably should stick to that brand.

I love these boots! Comfortable enough to walk to work, and the boots look great when I get there. Especially good if you are tall and thin.

I love this boot! So comfortable and beautiful color. Would have been super-awesome if the heel height was a little higher. I am usually a 6.5 and I bought a 7.5 in this boot. I like to wear socks with boots and the full size up worked out well.

I took a chance of ordering on line, read other comments about these boots and am very pleased! They fit perfectly and I love the color of the leather even more in person!

Very comfy! Order the wide calf if your calves are at all muscular or thick, as they are very tight on the calf.

Love this boot...but please remember Aigner's are cut small so if you have a wide foot, this boot will be a very tight fit.

Beautiful, elegant, perfect for work & walking, with room for orthotics -- but I'll add grippy soles for these. I have slender calves and found these roomy at calf -- classic equestrian, enough to fit skinny pants into.
