I bought these instead of a pair of Danskos. I love the bright red color and couldn't find anything in the more familiar brand. Just pulled them out of the box and they seem great (but not much experience with them yet). I bought size 42 instead of my regular size 41 and they feel fine (sloppy, the way all clogs do). I don't find them narrow at all.

Sanita is a better quality shoe than Dansko. If you have a little wider foot, go with the wide width, wish I would have, they are a little tight, but okay with a nylon type sock. I have owned several pairs of both Dansko and Sanita. For everyday work shoe the professional is a great shoe.

I have a very narrow foot. I ordered this clog in a 39 narrow and it fits perfectly! I get compliments daily. I used to be loyal to Dansko but lately it seems as though the Dansko sizing has been off since 2008. I will now be ordering Sanitas.

After buying a pair in oil leather, I knew to order the wide width. Everybody switching from Dansko (used to be made by Sanita) to Sanita should know by now to go up in width. Once you know your proper Sanita size, you will see that the comfort you've come to love in this style is still there. I've worn this type of clog (had original Dansko clogs made by Sanita worn until they truly fell apart) for over 11 years, and it's become my everyday show. This is my second pair of Sanitas so I can alternate with the oil leather pair. The patent leather is a pretty change and the red is a lovely color, perfect with denim. I hope some Sanita rep reads the reviews regarding the width and so makes more styles available in wide. I'll buy more when that happens; I especially want a pair in Bordeaux Croco. Sanita, are you reading?

I love the stability and durability of these shoes (and I am hard on shoes). The red color is so vibrant I can't help but smile when wearing them!

After reading a lot of comments about Sanita being smaller in size than Dansko and to my big surprise, it's not the case at all. I normally wear size 10.5 to 11W, size 42 was a perfect fit. They actually fit much better than a Dansko 42. I have 8 pairs of Danskos, and none of them are as comfortable as my Sanitas. I bought both pink and red.

These are great. They're attractive enough to wear to work, easy enough to slip on and go for errands. I can stand and walk all day comfortably. The heel is just right for boosting height while still being perfectly comfortable. The patent leather is sharp, the black looks great with my wardrobe. I hope I don't scuff or scratch it, because the rest of the shoe seems sturdy enough to last for years. The patent leather does show dust and water drops, so it takes a little maintenance to keep them shiny. Just paying attention to if they need a quick wipe with a cloth is all it takes, but it is slightly more than typical leather. I am a Sanita person; they fit my foot (the heel, especially) better than Dansko clogs. As for sizing, I ordered my usual 40 and a 41 after reading other reviews, and my normal size worked fine. Zappos' shipping and return policy made this no problem.

I am a chef and have tried so many shoes. But these Sanita patent are narrow and hold my arch well. I love them. Danskos are too wide. I highly recommend them if you have narrow feet and stand all day.

Great supportive hard soled shoes for those of us on our feet all day! These are better than Dansko's in my opinion because of their greater width. Only be warned that the sizing may vary some per style. Not sure why but I have found that in the 4 pairs that I own I had to shop around to get the same fit among them. I wish this variability could be changed so 4 stars for that. Just order both sizes and return one.

These are excellent for working long shifts and do not make your feet and legs hurt. They are great for nurses or anyone who is on their feet for long periods of time. They are also easy to slip off and on to give your feet some air.

I bought these shoes for my daughter when she landed a job where she would be on her feet several hours. They are absolutely perfect for her very low arches. They provide much support and keep her feet comfy. She loves how good they feel on her feet. They were a better fit than the Dansko shoe.

My job requires standing on my feet for 60/65 hours per week and I was having trouble with my knees and my hips. These shoes are fantastic! No more aches. They are super comfortable and very stylish, I get compliments on them every time that I wear them. I am very pleased with them!

I ordered 40 regular width but was shipped narrow. At least that's what the box says. I plan on keeping them. I would ignore all of the "feels smaller" ratings. I first ordered a size up and those were way too big.

As a nurse I have used Dansko shoes for over 10 years. The last pair I bought seem to be cheaply made (the stitching came out everywhere). I decided to try the Sanita brand instead. After 2 weeks they are comfortable and well made. I wore at 39 in Dansko and based on advice from other reviewers I bought the 40 and they do fit well.

These are red beauties! And I like the red, it is dark, not bright. But I paid attention to the reviews and ordered one size larger and am glad I did and this Sanita runs small. But they look good and think they will be comfy. Recommend these shoes!

I received these shoes for Christmas. They are very pretty, fit well, very well made. I did exchange them for a smaller size. Zappos worked with me to exchange sizes. The new shoes arrived in two days. I would recommend them to every nurse.

I had to send these back two times and was so sad! I wanted so badly to wear these to work so my feet don't hurt and thought they were really cute also! Usually I order my normal size despite reviews and the shoes end up fitting. This time, I should have listened. Seriously order a size up, possibly two! Looking forward to receiving a pair that fit!

Sanita are my go to shoes for work. I can be on my feet 12 hours with ease. I wear out long before my feet ever do. I couldn't live without these shoes. I've been waiting 12 years for Fushia color and am just thrilled with it. They are so adorable and I get comliments every day on these. Zappos always goes above and beyond in their customer service. I wouldn't by from anyone else anymore.

I just started working as a nurse and I heard these were the shoes to get. I heard these were much more comfortable than Danskos. I was very impressed with the color selections of Sanitas. They were a little tight and I had to go up half of a size. They took little time to break in and they help my back and my feet feel less tired during those 12 hour shifts!

I wear a 36 in the Sanita's. The Sanita's are superior to the Dansko's in construction, the staples are neater and spaced perfectly. I've actually x-rayed my shoes to see how they were made, so you have to trust me on this one. I have the black patent and the professional cabrio. I also have a few pair of Dansko's they are size 35, they are wider and have more heel room for my index finger. I like that the Sanita's are a little narrower, a little snugger fit makes the shoe feel more stable. I can get my index finger in the back of the shoe easily. If you can't decide between the Sanita or Dansko, I'd say go with the Sanita if you have an average to narrow foot. If you have average to wider feet, the Dansko's might be better for you.

Love this shoe! So comfortable. The color is vibrant, the fit is true to size. Terrific clog! They wear very well. Can't say a bad thing about Sanitas! They know how to make a perfect clog! Zappos knows how to make a perfect price!
