I've been wearing these clogs for many years. I've lost track of the number of pairs I've owned. I just ordered yet another pair! Don't think they aren't well made because I've owned so many. I'm a chef and spend probably around 50-60 hours a week on my feet in a professional kitchen. I've tried everything, athletic shoes, combat boots, even high priced orthopedic shoes. All of them would leave my feet tired and painful at the end of the day and wore out in a matter of a couple months or less. Not these. Each pair lasts me about a year. These are the most comfortable option for people who spend long hours on their feet. The fact that the soles are hard as a rock is deceptive. Somehow they are incredibly comfortable. Order 1/2 size up. The seem to run a little small.

I think these shoes are great, they give me wonderful support in my arches and at the same time are very comfortable to wear, there is something about the shoes that allow my legs to feel less tired at the end of the day,these shoes are made well and will last a long time. Been buying this exact shoe for years. All of a sudden it doesn’t fit well at all. Called the manufacturer and they said they changed something in the way it’s made. Zappos replaced with larger size. Be aware if you are a repeat customer, you probably need to go up a size.

I have owned the same style Dansko's for years, they got a terrible squeak in the sole, these Sanita's seem to be built better and so far are very comfortable to wear.

Good shoe. A bit tight for the sizing. Soaked them in hot water and then wore them with two pairs of socks until they dried. Fit fine now. Wearing them while writing this review. Seriously considering buying a pair in black.

Had to go through a couple pairs in different sizes to nail the perfect one - everyone saying that you need to order a size up from your true size is absolutely correct. You should have enough room left in the back of the shoe to slide a finger in so your ankle lifts out of the shoe with each step, but not so much that your foot physically comes out of the shoe while you walk. Bought these for residency in grey and I'm pretty excited about them, they look and feel awesome.

I'm an older person who wore hard sole shoes almost exclusively for over forty years, I then changed jobs an was supposed to wear athletic type shoes. I ended up with plantar fasciitis and have been wearing a brace for this condition the past 6 months. I wore these clogs to work for the first day without the brace (took it and an extra pair of shoes just in case) and didn't have to wear the brace nor were my feet sore at the end of the day. I just ordered my second pair in a different color ( unfortunately from a different company due to a significant price difference). I'm sold on these now. Even wear them when I'm not working.

I had to send this pair back but I am reordering as soon as I am done with this review. The padded instep at the top of the clog was sewn wrong and was a little too tight. This would have been my second pair of this clog. I believe in this brand and will reorder another pair. Great brand, value and comfort. Just dumb luck this pair was made wrong.

I loved the idea of these shoes. I have been a Dansko fan for 6+ years. I ordered these to replace my second pair as the heels had warn too much. The look, style and overall features are all right there. Unfortunately they do not have a wide size like Danskos. I reordered a second pair in a larger size still no real width luck. So back to Danskos.

I don't know what Sanita has done to the design of their shoes, but they don't fit me anymore. My current 2 pairs of Sanita clogs (full shoe style, not slides) are both 43M, but I just tried the Professional Oil in Black and the women's 43M don't fit. Most women's styles don't come in a wide and size 43 is the largest women's size they offer. Since these clogs are unisex and the same color is offered in mens, I bought the same clog in men's sizes 44 and 45 (the 45 since I've been reading so much about other folks also having problems with them being too small). Men's sizes didn't offer wide. The 44 was snug w/o socks, but was better than the 43. The 45 gave me the right space at my heel and was proportionally wider, and would have worked with a thin sock but still didn't feel quite right. What is going on? My foot has been the same size for years. It's not my foot so has to be the shoe. Come on Sanita.... so disappointed. They are all going back.

This platform was hard as a rock. No cushion whatsoever for me (6', 165lbs). I couldn't imagine standing in these for an entire day.

The texture was really bumpy and an odd finish. Not refined.

I've worn Sanitas for 19 yrs and loved them. Appreciated the quality of craftmanship. This pair was a fail from the start. Too small, too tight. But I overrode my own knowing and adhered to the advice I was given by a Sanitas rep I spoke to who told me that they wld stretch out over time (they did not). In the right shoe, the lining came unstuck so really I was walking on a raw foam insert that just kept wearing down. I realize that these are a couple years old but I've had Sanitas that have lasted 10 yrs or more. In my conversation w Sanita re: this pair, I found no solution. They said they did make some changes in the shoe that might account for some of my experience. They suggested I take the shoe to a cobbler for repair at my own expense. Because I need supportive shoes I ordered a new pair and sized up and they were way too big. I'm disappointed that my go-to shoe is a dead-end but more disappointed that Sanita was so anemic with their response and with that, will be spending my money elsewhere.

Sanita has changed the design of the shoes. I have been wearing Sanita size 44 for years and they are now too small. Why size it as a 44 if it's not a 44? I could do w/o the texture, but they no longer make the smooth oiled clogs in black. Another classic example of a company that is going downhill. Sending back for a larger size.

While the shoes fit well there was a problem with the left shoe. Something kept digging into the left side of my foot as I walked and it was very uncomfortable, forcing me to return these.

Beat the completion. The other company is like wearing cement blocks...who knew....

I forever wore Danskos but found they don’t fit the same with them being too tight on the instep. I have a hard time with shoes because of my high I step and high arches. These clogs are awesome. So comfortable! I love them and would highly recommend them!

This is an excellent choice for the healthcare professional who desires comfort and style while on the job. The footbed is very comfortable, as it provides great cushioning; and the fit provides extreme stability.

Exactly what I wanted. Super comfy and solid.

I ordered the wrong size, but the shoe was so comfortable, just a tad too large. I should have ordered the 43 not 44, but I having the 43 sent..

Ordered two sizes larger than what the fit chart recommended and they fit perfectly. Takes a few days to wear in, but overall well made shoe for people on their feet all day. I’m a server who works 40+ hours on concrete floors - these shoes provided instant relief of my plantar fasciitis.

Just talked to the folks at Sanita on the phone. These apparently run a size smaller than the Danskos. Sanita used to make Dankso's soles but they had a parting of the ways about 5 years ago or so. The Dansko soles are junk now--my most recent pair split under the ball of the foot on both shoes, and a big chunk fell out of the sole on the left. The leather in the new Dansko's is stiff and cheap feeling (I ordered a pair of Piets, the first style I bought in 1997). I have been making do in older size 40 Danskos (sole made by Sanita), having to color the binding around the top of the clog with sharpie because I could not figure out what to do. There is no difference, BTW, between men's and women's Sanitas--a 40 is a 40 and the width is the same (I tried that, too---ordering men's 40). So, now I will try the size 41 as the lady on the Sanita customer service suggested. I teach all day and these have been the greatest (although you can twist your ankle easily on uneven sidewalks, such as we have here in New Orleans)
