They are very comfortable. At the beginning, it felt strange to lace up on the size. I have thick calves and not so straight legs, but these boots are flattering and mask the true shape. Since we've had only one sub zero temp day and absolutely no snow this season, I don't know how they would do in a severe weather condition. When I walked about a mile on the frigid day, they kept my feet toasty and supported them very well.

These boots are definitely smaller than marked. I am a true 9 and they felt at least half a size too small with the liner. No point using them without the liner! Also note that the circumference around the top is a wide 18". This was far too much space for someone with slim calves and I laced them as tight as they would go. The padding is exceptional, and I am sure that they would do a capital job at keeping one's feet warm. However, they were unwearable given the sizing issues. I returned them and ended up with similar but less heavy boots from Kamik.

Thank you Zappos for getting these to me just in time for our next big snow. I use these to take my dogs out, I use them every day. They are warm, waterproof and comfortable in every way. I was worried about the side closure, but since it is a gusset instead of an open seam, there is no problem. GREAT BOOTS!

Good looking, comfy and they fit my wide feet. Can't weigh in on warmth yet, because I haven't tested them in the snow.

First of all, I ordered my boots on the 3rd, and they CAME to my house on the 6th!!! I was shocked! THESE boots are FANTASTIC!!! At first I thought they might be too tight, but my heel had plenty of room and I remembered reading a review in which someone said they stretch out. Meaning the lining does tend to "squish" a little. I put them on and walked around in my living room for a bit, and they are SO warm, SO comfortable and unlike insulated boots I have had in the past, they are VERY light weight and NOT hard to walk in. I LOVE them! They are tall enough for me, and even though I was worried about the top fitting my wide calf, they have room to spare, even laced as tight as I can get them , for stuffing my pant leg. We get snow where I live and sometimes it's deep. I needed a tall boot, but not to my knees. These are PERFECT boots, in my opinion. Another thing I had to consider was tread. I broke my neck in an auto accident so now I have LOTS of titanium in my neck and I do NOT want to fall down! It HURTS! So tread was almost the most important thing to me, along with warmth. The tread is VERY good! They have a cute design on the bottom and I'm SURE they will NOT be slippery! I'm so happy I could hug somebody!! And something else that's important to me is that I do NOT buy anything that is fake leather. These have a REAL leather upper that is water resistant. The lining comes out to air dry, which is another great feature. I was looking at a pair in which the lining does not come out and from experience, if you have to wear a boot for any length of time in the cold and snow, your feet will sweat and the lining will get damp. If you can't take out that damp lining, it makes for a not very nice odor emitting from your feet! BUY these! They are SO worth the money! I'm sure that ANY Baffin product would be great for any purpose. I will be a repeat customer! ONCE AGAIN a VERY happy Zappos Customer!! I LOVE you guys!!!!!

These boots performed terrifically during a trip to Banff in Canada this winter. My feet stayed warm and dry during long walks in deep snow. The boots were comfortable enough to wear all day. The traction on the bottom is good enough for walking around town but I did needed to add grippers to the bottom for ice hiking. I usually wear a size 8 in regular shoes but I ordered the 9 which I think I needed because I was wearing such thick wool socks but if you wanted to wear these with just your regular socks you could probably get your regular size. They were very easy to get on and off.

Was very worried about fit of this boot, as so many reviews said to order up. That size was not available, so I ordered my standard shoe size. Initially, the boot did feel too small. But after a day of wear, the liners settled out and the fit was great! I wore thin socks, and they kept my feet toasty warm in 20 degree weather. Highly recommend!

These boots run small. I am a standard size 8 in most shoe brands and some times a 7 1/2. I ordered an 8 and they were squishing my toes.

Finally, a warm pair of boots! I live in Vermont and spend time outside and in a cold hockey rink. My feet have never gotten cold in these. And, they are cushy comfy.

These boots are great! It's really hard to find good snow boots that look decent and fashionable at a reasonable price. They're comfortable, warm, and very waterproof - even in the craziest of weather. Other reviews have said they don't fit right - I'm a 7 and they fit me well. They are tight at first, but the liners are very thick and expand to your feet within the first day of wearing them, so don't be discouraged if they feel tight at first. You can make sure you got the right size by trying on the liners by themselves, if those fit, you got the right size.

This is a great boot for the snow and cold and stylin', too! If I wear thick socks, the liner tends to come out with my foot, but otherwise I love the boot. It gets too hot for inside and warmer days. Keeps my feet dry. I get lots of comments.

This boot is increbily comfortable and warm. It's definitely made for winter's worse. Initially thought it looked bulky and difficult to drive in but I was pleasantly surprised that the opposite was true. I've even worn them shopping! An excellent value for the money.

Great boots. They are super stylish and cozy. I wore them tubing and they kept my feet warm and dry the whole time. Since they lace up the side I could see where if you have really skinny calves you may not be able to get them tight enough around your leg. I have average calves and they fit just right. I would definitely buy Baffin again. Excited to finally have boots that look great and keep my feet happy.

Great service, great boots. My girlfriend loved them. Kept her feet warm while snowshoeing with the temperature down to -15 with the wind chill.

Warm boot in cute package. Also tried Baffin Chloe, but that was more bulky and not as cute. This kept my toes warm in deep snow. A boot this warm has to be bulky and heavy, but this one is cuter than most. I wear a 9 and bought this in a 9; any shorter and I would have had to size up.

Trying these on in July was torture, so I know they will be awesome in our cold and snowy winter months.(yes it snows in AZ, quite generously at 7,000 feet)I ordered a size larger, 8 based on other users' suggestions, but preferred the snugger fit of the 7.

These boots felt stiff and confining. I wouldn't want to walk far in them... They are not tight but have little flexibility.They lack the style I was hoping for also. A disappointment...

I disagree with the reviewer who said to order these a size bigger. I tried that, but the next size up was much too large. The key is that you have to put the boots on the way it tells you on the little card that comes with them - remove the liner, but that on your foot, and then put your foot with the liner on it into the boot. If you do that, you should have no problem, whereas when I tried to just put the boot on the normal way, it was a struggle even with the boot that was a size larger. I ended up getting my normal size and I'm happy with them. One reviewer mentioned feeling unsteady walking in these boots because of the height and shape of the sole. I didn't have too much a problem most of the time, except they don't really bend at the ankle. But going up and down stairs I had to be pretty careful and hold on. These aren't ultra-high-style, but considering they're first and foremost warm and practical, I think the style is pretty decent.

I loved the look of these boots, but they were super tight in my usual size. I want to order a larger pair but there are not any left!

I wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9. These are pull on boots. Since the laces are just decorative, it was really hard to get my foot in with the liner. I have trouble getting cowboy boots on though - so take it with a grain of salt. These seemed like they'd be great in really cold areas, but I don't need the power that these lined boots give.

I respect the Baffin brand and quality, so ordered this boot as a substantial winter boot. It seemed well-made. I was looking for something quite warm but not as heavy as the old Sorel 1964s that I had years ago. My husband has a pair of Baffins that he raves about. His feet are very wide. I definitely go for function and quality over style. I wear 7 1/2 and sometimes 8 in shoes and like a lot of room in the toe box. I ordered an 8 in these, but they were too short (toes touching the end) and too narrow. I exchanged for a 9, and the length was okay, but still too narrow. I had on a mid-weight sock, and wore the boots in the house for about an hour each time. I know that Baffin's liners are meant to be snug and form to the foot over time. What's interesting about the narrowness in these boots, and in their Snowgoose style that I tried on at a store, is that the narrowness of this Baffin toe style (I see it on several of their boots: a hard plastic toe area instead of rubber over the whole front of the boot), is that it feels wide enough in the ball of the foot, but too narrow in the toes. As if my toes were piled on top of each other. The arch area was also uncomfortable: narrow and rubbing toward the front of my arch. The whole boot felt like it was narrow almost to the point of tipsy. Another note: this is a boot for moderate cold, not serious cold and not for being outdoors for hours at a time in the cold. However, if you have a narrow foot and want a cute functional boot for fairly cold weather, this would be a good choice. I've exchanged this boot for a boot that folks report runs wider and has a colder temp rating, and will rate them when I get to use them!

These are very cute with the furry lace up on the outside which is also very accommodating for tucking in looser pants. As other reviewers stated, the sizing seems odd - ordered a half size bigger and my toe still touched the front, sockless, and it was narrow across the toes but loose across the top of the ankle. But it seemed like it would be okay if my foot settled further back. Others have mentioned the memory foam foot bed which conforms to your foot and yields more space - so I may try it. I agree with others who said the liner feels like "stepping into a marshmallow" - so soft and cozy, they definitely feel like they would be super warm. I ordered them in "gray" which is a little olivey but a really nice neutral color.

Tried these boots because all the reviews. The boot itself fit my foot, but it seems like the inner lining runs small. I unfortunately had to send them back.

I ordered these boots because I am needing a comfortable and warm snow boot for winters at school in New Hampshire. I am usually a size 10 and sometimes fit into a 9.5. I actually like the boot accept it was too short and narrow around the ball of my foot. I could feel this tightness as soon as I put it on and knew I needed to return them for something else. A little disappointed, but hopefully I'll find a better fit in a different style/brand.
