Absolutely stunning boot, but I am bummed that I listened to other reviewers who said the boot ran small. Should have stuck to what I know. Donald Pliner always runs true to size. Hope to get my notification that size 9 is replenished before spring. This is a splurge but worth every cent. Total head turner.

Loved these boots but sadly they must go back. They are very cute and would look great with jeans or a boho dress but they were too narrow in the instep and the calf. If you have a smaller calf and have style that is a little funky, these are the boots for you!

Absolutely love them! I can wear them all day on a 12 hour workday without any problems at all. Very comfortable!

I have been searching everywhere online, it's been out of stock. Thank you Zappos for the email my size was back in stock! I was fortunate enough to get a pair of these fine boots. Other reviews question the size...I wear a consistent size 10 and the 10 fits me fine in this boot. I do have to say though, these are a very 'fitted' boot...only thin socks and skinning jeans/jeggings with them. There is no way I would be able to fold other pants over to stuff in this boot. You cannot just pull them off either...they must be unzipped on both sides and the bottom to take off...they literally fit like a glove. They just reek of quality...I see many years of enjoyment out of these heavy (they really are kind of heavy), well made boots! Also...very tall boots. I'm 5'9...they hit right below my knee. Love them!

I absolutely love the look of these boots! Get compliments literally everywhere I go. While they are very comfortable after the first couple of times wearing them, I do have to agree with Jennifer, who commented that the something doesn't feel quite right from the heel to toe when stepping. I couldn't put my finger on it, except to say I thought it felt like the heel height was off. Like maybe the heel was too low or too high for the way the rest of the boot is made, as there is a weird, clunking thing going on with each step. Aside from that, nothing could make me return these boots, as I am so in love with them in every other regard. They are still comfortable, even with the strange step, as comfort is a must with me, and the style? I would've bought 20 pairs if I could so I'd have them for the rest of my life! These boots rock!

This boot is hot! Had to order elsewhere since Zappos was out of size I needed, but felt I needed to write a review. I where size 9, once in a blue moon an 8.5. So ordered the 9 and it fits like a glove, not too big not too small, perfect! Probably wouldn't work with thick socks, but these are not rain/snow, working outside winter boots. Fit perfect in calf, my calves are about a 13in. The black is very classy. The way they conform to your leg, make your legs look sexy as shaft is just below the knee. I was a little scared of the price tag, but the quality is absolutely amazing, the look...so original, merry Christmas to me, from me!

I LOVE these boots and I love Zappos! I read some reviews about these running small so I ordered my size and the size bigger and it was a waste of time since the 10 is a 10 in my opinion and it fit perfect. If you are even thinking about it you should buy these boots they're gorgeous and so so comfortable I want to wear them with everything!

OMG! These boots are a fine piece of art (and comfort)! They are unique, fashion-forward, yet still a classic! I get compliments, wherever I go! The distressed leather has a real vintage look which finishes off the awesome look of the boot! I would buy them all over again!

Awesome boot; gets lots of attention. It’s not super comfortable the first few times, but due to the leather sole it does stretch and conform to your foot. Would be a challenge for anyone with arthritis to zip these - and requires some effort to fit jeans into them. Still, fabulous styling and excellent Pliner quality. Glad I ordered them!

These boots are SO cute! I have a tough time finding a boot that I really like! The Saddle color is very funky while the Black ones have a classier look. I like the way the boot contours to the calves since my calves are kind of thin and unshapely. There is not much arch support but, overall, a good fit. I went up a half size as everyone suggested and that work out perfect even with socks. I also tried going up a full size but have to send those back, too big.

These boots are HOT! I took the other suggestions and went up a half size. I normally wear a size 9, the 9.5 fit perfectly even with socks. I ordered a second pair in size 10 but will probably be sending those back because they are just too loose. I may try adding an insert since the boots could use some more arch support and see if they'll work because I really love the style. I like the way these boot contour the calves, it’s a really flattering fit. I do have thin, unshapely calves so I can see where any calf muscle might make these hard to zip up.

I purchased these gorgeous boots in black and I love them! I can't wait for it to cool off here in the South so I can start enjoying them. I am a size 7 in 90% of shoes and these are true to size. With a thick sock, they may be a little snug but I haven't tried them with any socks yet. I will probably wear thin socks with them when I do. I have small calves but not stick thin, I do have definition to them and they fit perfect. I am 5'7 & 128 lbs. with long legs and these are amazing on. I would definitely say that medium sized to larger calves will not be able to wear these as the shaft is very narrow along with the top opening. Great price for such a well made beautiful pair of boots.

Wow! is all I can say about this boot! It's gorgeous, fits perfect! With zippers on both sides of this boot makes for an easy on and easy off! True to size.

Stylish boot! The reviews are true, order a 1/2 size bigger. I did and this was perfect. The leather did not look at all like the photo. The ones I received were dark chocolate brown distressed leather (and not the Espresso metallic version).

I purchased the Devi 2 twice. I love the look of the boot. I returned them the first time because of the guilt - high price tag. I could not stop thinking of them and by that time a size 10 was sold out everywhere. I managed to track down a pair. Zappos - shame on you I put in a request to notify me. I was not notified and I saw the boots in stock. I went to get my credit card came back and they were sold out! Regardless, I did get a pair of Devi 2 boots in size 10. However, this pair is not as comfortable as the first pair. The heel to toe step seems off. I'm clunking around and am not sure how to fix it. If I walk more on my pinky toes it's better. However, I need a solid boot for a night out - can not be depending on my pinky toes all night. The size is good - I do take a 9 1/2 and found the 10 perfect for size. The calf area is loose even with pants but still a beautiful boot. Anyone else have this clunking going on? Perhaps it will shape to my foot and relax the deep bend at the toe? Please tell me yes. I love these boots - appearance wise.

Can a pair of boots break your heart? This pair almost did! I fell madly in love with this boot at a shoe store- but alas they had but one pair in a small size. Thus began my quest- I lucked out and got my size at Zappos thanks to a notification (good work Zappos!). Even so, once my coveted beauties arrived they were a bit snugger than I like- especially in toe width. I kept them even as I searched in vain for a larger size. There was none to be had. Luckily, my favorite shoemaker put these babies on the stretchers for over a week--and viola! Vintage suede sky knee-high (on this 5'11" chick) goodness. This is one awesome pair of boots that can be worn in ways limited only by your imagination and wardrobe. Swagger comes with it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Thank you ZAPPOS!!

Beautiful boot but slightly narrow. It will need stretching as I tried to order the next larger size and it was not available. I kept it because I liked it that much.

Beautiful boots! Unfortunately, they are going back. I am in great shape and run 5 days a week, I am 5'6 and 140 lbs and the boot shaft is cut so narrow that when I zip them up it gives an awful stuffed sausage look. What a shame. If you have very skinny calves, these boots are gorgeous!

These are beautiful shoes, but they are virtually impossible to wear. They are very hard to get on, and that is coming from someone with a very narrow foot. Once on, they are uncomfortable and constricting, with virtually no flexibility. That is quite a shame.
