Heavy, narrow. These are bizarrely heavy, so much so that I said "uh oh" even when I picked up the box. I measured: they are a full two pounds (32 ounces) PER BOOT. That is insane in a low-top wingshooting boot. To give you a comparison, my upland hiking boots -- built tougher than these, since those are for carrying packs over rocks -- weigh six ounces less per boot than these "Wingshooter" boots. The toe box is also surprisingly narrow in the D size but the main problem is that these are mislabeled: they can't possibly be intended to be real wingshooting boots. They might do as heavy work boots (I notice that other, positive reviewers are using them as such) but you aren't going to spend a day walking miles through fields and wingshooting in these bricks.

I have been in the Construction field for 25 years. I have purchased boots of every kind. I put these boots on out of the box and they are awesome. No break in time needed. Feet feel great after a long day. They wear well to the harsh environment of the job-site. Clean up fast and easy with damp rag and hit them with some boot oil once in a while. 5 stars out of 5.

Great fitting, great looking boots. No break in required. They are working well here in the Michigan winter, performing at the gun range, ski resort and grocery store.

Awesome shoe. Should have ordered double e on the width. My bad on that one. Other than that awesome boot.

Purchased for my husband who is a hunter. He likes the style and says they are extremely comfortable and kept his feet warm and dry in rain and harsh weather. He would recommend them to his friends. I like the style,as they do not look like every other clunky hunting boot on the market.

I am pleased with these boots. I normally wear size 12 asic tennis shoes, these feel like they run about 1/4 size larger. A tiny bit loose, but wouldn't call it a 1/2 size. Thick socks would fix it. The long laces double wrap around the ankle, so there's no up and down heel movement. I like the soft flexible upper and ample padding. I really wanted to buy the made-in-America red wing classic work boots, but they lacked the padding and didn't fit as well as these. They're a bit pricey, but they're well constructed (double and triple stitched).

These are excellent boots. Very little break in time required, and a good comfortable fit. They are a little too bulky for casual wear. But I have worn them in rain, snow, and single digit temperatures and they have been great.

fit is good, side of one tongue has crease in it that hurts my angle. shoe strings are trash, can't keep them tight. had to replace.

Boots run a bit narrow - and one of the boots seemed much narrower than the other - maybe a quality control problem? A

I am wearing the boots right now. They are not broken in yet, but I think they will be fine. I had ordered two pair, one size 10 1/2, and one size 11. I kept the size 11 pair, and returned the 10 1/2 pair because they were too short.

nice boots but they wear out with in 6 months

Just bought my second pair of these. The first pair I've had for almost 5 years. I've ridden them hard (just everyday wear, and even some yard work) and they've cleaned up and held up beautifully! (Still are holding up!) They're just about ready for a resole. I wanted to go ahead and buy a fresh pair and maybe have the old ones resoled (costs $100 so still up in the air). They still have a lot of tread left. These are AWESOME. They are heavy...but I actually love that about them. They feel substantial and are VERY well-constructed...and they're SUPER comfortable. Keep them wiped down with mink oil and they'll last...who knows how long.

Bought these for my son’s birthday! He previously had a pair of these and wore them out!! He was super excited. Put them on immediately and wore them the rest of the day!!

This shoe is very nice...high quality and workmanship. Very comfortable and true to size/width. Been wearing for a few days now...no squeaks! I bought these after I returned a pair of boots made by another company that started squeaking (the right boot) loudly after 2 days of use. Was highly annoying. Very happy with this purchase.

Love the look and height of these Boots. Should be great for the SD pheasant fields. I ordered a half size bigger than I would in a normal hunting boot and while a tad large the smaller size would definitely be too small

The boots are great at first look. I did not get to wear them bc my feet are fat. Hoping to find a 9.5 EE.

The boots were ready to wear as soon as I took them out of the box. The fit was exactly as I hoped it would be and I really like how easy it is to remove my foot from the boot after unlacing the top two eyelets. The leather is supple yet heavy enough to protect your feet.

I purchased these for my husband. He loves these boots!! I have purchased many different boots for him that had to be returned. He says, "these boots are the best wearing boots he has ever worn.

My first purchase of work boots...and I'm thrilled to have selected Wingshooter 807's. Great quality, fit to a 'T', and look super. Oh, and very comfortable from the first day...will certainly recommend these boots for style and comfort.

Just got back from a 3 day hunt in Montana and put about 30 miles on these boots right out of the box. No blisters, feet stayed dry and boots held up well. They are a very good classic style hunting boot. If you want durable, waterproof and classic styling, these will do.

Boot guy here...I wear boots and only boots. Have had my 807's now 6 months...high quality boot. In the construction industry, I have tried several brands, these are as good as any brand I've had. My son swears by them (also in the construction industry) so I just had to try them. Thanks son!

The Red Wing Wingshooter 807 are some of the best boots that I have ever bought. The quality and fit is outstanding. Break in time was easy, support is great, and fit cannot be beaten. I love these boots. The shipping was outstanding as well. I ordered one day and two days later they were delivered.

Fantastic boot. Very comfortable with good arch and ankle support. Bought for use on motorcycle, but they've become my everyday footwear.
