The boots were not what I was expecting. Nowhere on the boot does it say leather upper or leather anything. The boot feels very cheap in my opinion. Also, for Nike technology, the boot has zero arch support which was very disappointing because it is a very cute style. For the price I would think the boot would be leather, but it is pleather and fabric and made in China. I think I will be sending these back, however, I have to give 5 stars for Zappos service. I ordered the boots on a Saturday and they arrived on Monday. Very good service indeed.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these boots!! They are worth every penny. I get compliments every time I wear them. They are also very comfortable... I have been in them for 12 hours at a time and my feet do not hurt. They look great with jeans, leggings, or skirts. I have average size calves and they fit great and are very true to size. Classic style, too, that should last for years.

I love this boot! Super comfortable right out of the box. The day after they arrived I wore them on a trip to NYC (against my better judgment as they were not broken in) but they felt great when I hit the pavement. Classic, gorgeous, and comfy.

Beautiful boots, but very difficult to get on. Literally took me hours and finally succeeded with a shoe horn. If you have a wide foot, you will have difficulty.

This shoe is amazing. Looks great. Feels so comfortable. Got a half size smaller cause I wanted them so bad. Fits perfect. I have a narrow foot though. Got the brown they are gorgeous. You'll love 'em.

As expected of Cole Haan products, this boot is of excellent quality and is so comfortable to wear! The stretchable suede is ingenious! Highly recommended and glad I got it on sale!

I bought these for something cute to wear with leggings for when I didn't want to wear heels. I love them. They are very comfy. As for the reviewer who said that these didn't say leather - calfskin is leather, in fact it is high quality leather.

I love these boots! I have wide calves and had all but given up on finding knee high length boots. These boots fit well and the stretch material makes it fairly easy to get the boots on and off. I have worn them with a skirt and a dress and it looks elegant. Thank you Cole Haan for making such a great boot for wider calves! It is a little challenging to get in and out of the foot bed of the boots. Hopefully that will get easier with time.

I love these boots. Seem true to size. Not too bulky around the calf though they are pretty high to wear under pants. I wear them with leggings. Very comfortable. Wore them the 1st day for 12 hours.

I bought these boots for my daughter and she loves them! They are beautiful, stylish and great quality. They were comfortable to walk in from day one!

I finally found stylish riding boots to fit my 17" calves! The leather on the front and stretchy suede on the back. A 1" heel gives a little lift and the Nike Air in the footbed is great if you are walking a lot! I usually buy an 8½, but I bought a 9 and they are perfect.

Love these boots. The heel is so comfortable and looks great with boot cut jeans, adding about an inch of height. The best feature is the stretchy back that allows for a sleek look without a zipper necessary to get them on. I think they would look good with mid calf skirts on a still stylish 60 year old like me.

Love these boots! So cute! Totally work with muscular calves which I have! Very comfortable however could just a bit more padding on bottom if you are going to walk forever.

Amazing boot! I really recommend since it fits very nicely on the legs! True to size and can be easily pared with clothes. Absolutely love it! I also have a wider calf and it does fit perfectly. Loved the back stretch!

I just got these boots and I love them! I found them to be true to size and incredibly comfortable. I also have large calves, but these slid on perfectly (and even fit over jeans!). I can't wait to wear them outdoors; they are beautiful and classic!

Great boot design with top comfort. The back panel is made from a suede material with stretch that makes them easy to slip into and tuck leggings into. The front panel is taller than the back giving it a great look. Order your regular shoe size...not boot size.

Finally! I've been on a mission for perfect boots and these are it. I'm only 5'2", with bigger calves, and these slip right on thanks to the stretchy suede in the back. The leather in front is the perfect height (just under my kneecap), and the leather looks beautiful. Plus, they're comfortable! They feel great -- no breaking in necessary...you can wear these right out of the box all day long. I got the dark chocolate, and the color is true to the depiction online. Also true to size. I wear an 8, got an 8, and it's perfect. Thank you, Cole Haan, and thank you, Zappos, for the always-wonderful service.

Great boots true to size & no need to break them in. They are soft & comfy. The color is a beautiful chocolate brown.

Beautiful boot. Comfortable. I like the Nike Air sole. But I have an extremely slim calf and it is just too baggy on my leg. The search for a slim calf boot continues!

Wow - these are the best boots that I have ever owned. Worn them 5 times and walked a total of 15 miles - no issues. Look fantastic and easy to get on and off. I normally wear and 8 but preferred the 8.5 in this boot. Thank you Cole Haan and Zappos!

I own two pair of tall suede high heeled Cole Haan boots that has stood up to the test of time in quality and style for over 8 years. They have never let me down in comfort and lasting style making my initial total purchase well worth it. Therefore, when I was ready to make an investment in another pair of quality fashion boots, this time flat boots, I looked to Cole Haan and was immediately impressed with the styles offered. I wore these boots right out of the box for an entire day and never thought about my feet once, that is the best testimony anyone can give to this boot (Other than also knowing I had the most stylish, comfortable and well fitting boots of anyone around.)! I like the feature to tighten around smaller calves, that works for me but larger calves will fit, too. I love these boots and highly recommend them.

I love these boots and truly comfortable and classic. I'm going to also buy them in brown. I did go up a 1/2 size and I am glad I did. They fit perfectly!

These boots are wonderful... Super comfortable and great looking. It can be hard to find a tall enough boot when you are 6 feet tall (mostly in the legs), and this hits right under the knee. Definitely thrilled to have them!
