Yes, buy these. I am an Alegria fanatic due to bad knees and a bad hip courtesy of too much rock and roll in my distant youth. Alegria footbeds are a thing of beauty, and you can pull them out for additional orthotics if needed. I have flat feet and the arch support is a bit too much for me so I add a small heel lift under the footbed and forget it's there. Alegrias wear extremely well over time, excellent construction and materials. I usually buy the thicker soled Paloma maryjanes. These booties are just as comfortable, giving my ankles a bit of support. My daughter almost stole them from me. Look great with skinny pants, or anything.

These are very comfortable and very lightweight. They are a soft leather which is very nice. I normally wear an 8 1/2, medium width or a 39 in Danskos. I thought the velcro adjustment was fine for my feet. The 38 in these fits very well. The only drawback to these boots is they are NOT waterproof at all. I live in Portland so it rains a lot here and I do a lot of walking. I was hoping for dryer feet by the time the end of the day rolls around. I have applied a leather waterproofing product so I hope that works. At any rate, I would highly recommend these because they are very stylish and comfortable.

My newest favorite shoe. Ah, a confession: Zappos didn't have my size in Stone Wall so I purchased from Mama Amazon but will probably order another pair in a different color from Zappos which is, of course, the best site on the web . This is a shoe with good built -- solid construction, thick leather, likely longevity. We are all always on the hunt for the perfect shoe and if you have foot problems as I do the hunt is targeted to comfort. This shoe has an ample toe box, good arch support, stable sole, nice cushioning. The closing flap with the cute buckle opens/closes with velcro so it's an easy-in and easy adjustment for fit at that point. The top of the shoe was a bit uncomfortable at first as the substantial leather hit right at the bend in my foot in walking, but that eased up pretty quickly. I received the shoes only yesterday and they already feel broken in. One thing I really like is that there is space between the top of my forefoot and the shoe -- not tight there. I am really getting into my grey as a neutral color in my wardrobe (not to mention in my hair) and this shoe has a fashionably weathered look that will likely stay cool over time and not go cheesy/cheap. Highly recommend giving this one a try.

I am extremely disappointed in the whole line of these shoes. I am wearing an older pair which have more arch support and the sole is much harder. So, the prices haven't changed, but you must of changed vendors in China (to make cheaper) and the quality and comfort (to me shows). It's a shame that the shoe market has changed so dramatically. Quality and pride in product has suffered. I will be wearing my old Aleg-DEB-731 completely out. Will be returning.

I am really loving these boots. They give me the support I need in the arch and they look great. The only complaint I have is that I could not tighten them up as much as I needed. So I had the velcro strip lengthened and this helped.

These looked so cute online and I wanted to love them but while the shoe ran large I felt like the insole was actually too small since it did not hit my arch in the right place. They also did not look as nice on my feet as I expected from the photographs online. Here is what I found odd about the sizing, and I'm not sure if it's my feet or the shoes: Even though I usually wear a 36 in most European sized shoes, including some Alegria clogs I bought a few years ago, and I occasionally even wear a 37, I had to go down to a 35 in these boots since the 36's were way too big. As I mentioned, the 35's were still a bit big, though okay with thick socks, but the insoles felt short. So, I took out the 36 insoles from another pair of Alegria shoes I was trying on and inserted them into the 35's, and the boots fit a bit more snuggly, with insoles that hit my arches in the right place. I am not sure if the Alegria closed shoes run differently than the clogs or if their sizing has changed, but I tried the Alegria Debra and Joleen shoes in sizes 36 and 35 and neither fit properly. Really disappointed since my Alegria clogs are the most comfortable shoes I own. If I had liked the way they looked enough, I would have kept them and ordered size 36 replacement insoles, that is how comfortable I think Alegria shoes are, but I don't think the patterned (i.e. colored, flowery) leather looks as nice as their simple leather shoes. I am so grateful that Zappos lets me order so many shoes at once, since finding size 5 1/2 shoes is nearly impossible and even finding a size 6 is tough. I discovered Alegria, a brand I have never seen in stores, via Zappos' reviews. I tried on and returned over a dozen boots this season trying to find something attractive and comfortable for my flat feet. Zappos' generous return policy and stellar customer service keep me coming back.

The Caiti is my first pair of Alegria Boots and just like the other Alegria shoes I have they feel fantastic. It did take me a little while to get used to the feel of something around my ankle, but once acclimated, very comfortable. There is a little movement in the heel area, but does not irritate the ankle or impact comfort. I have plantar fasciitis and tried just about every other brand of boot recommended for the condition, but nothing comes close to this in support and comfort. I went with the color: Bronze Eyed Susan and must say, the pictures just don't do this boot justice --it is truly a lovely color and the floral design subtle. Thank you Alegria and Zappos!!!

I have been looking for a bootie that I can wear whether I am out gardening or shopping. These Caiti booties fit the bill. They are supportive without being clunky. The leather wipes clean easily. I downsized to a 37 from my usual Alegria 38 in Paloma. I was swimming in ghe 38’s. My only wish is for a higher sole. I am only 5 feet tall so another half inch would be awesome! Great booties, gonna order another pair. ?

Love, love these boots! Alegria just feels like it is made for my foot. I actually cannot seem to wear most of their closed shoes, as they don't have enough toe height. These boots, though, are perfect. They are extremely comfortable... I put them on to wear in the house for a trial and could forget that I was wearing them. I have a high instep and had no problem pulling them on. Like all Alegria, they have their signature removable foot bed. ( I think they made that footbed, with my foot in mind...grin) The boot is lined with a very soft suede with a cushioned bit at the top... sooo soft and you don't feel them on your legs. I can't say enough good things about this boot.....

Love the Caiti boot. I'm a size 7 and this boot in 37 fits well and leaves room for my smartwool socks. I own several Alegria shoes and sandals. The footbed offers good cushion and good arch support. The style is very attractive. Very comfortable and great for cooler weather. Highly recommended.

These shoes have a terrific footbed, that is great for high arches, have a wide toebox, have velcro under the buckle for easy access into the boots. I am a 42-43 in Danskos and the 42 in this fits really well. There is a little slipping in heel like Dansko. They are so comfortable that I do not take them off at home.

I am borderline M to wide shoe. I ordered wide since it was a boot, couldn't begin to get my foot in. Never had that happen with any wide I've ever ordered.

It feels a bit loose, I wish I would have had a size smaller to try. I do like the look, maybe I'll have to try a heavier sock. My daughter tried them and her shoe size is one larger than mine and she also felt it was too big. I guess I'll have to send them back.

I fell in love with Allegria after having back surgery a year ago with a titanium rod and cross bars! I also have two titanium knees! (Arthritis) Anyway, the first pair I bought was off Q on TV! I loved the quality, beautiful details but most of all the support! Wow! I’ve never had a sandal that molded to my feet and helped me stand straight again, but I now have flat feet and plantar fasciitis to add to my woes... now I forget I have trouble feet and the arthritis in my feet doesn’t hurt like it did. That’s worth the extra funds Allegria’s cost!i love that I can order new footbeds to extend the wear. They are exceptionally well made, the leather is soft with tiny ? roses which I love??They fit snugly at first, in part because they are winter boots and thus, lined with a soft fabric. I wear compression socks daily, and never have trouble sliding my foot inside these boots! After I wore these for an hour they felt like moccasins, with support and footbeds! These boots don’t feature the “rocker bottom” of the Classic or Seville’s which I also bought. I’m 63, active and thank God for having comfortable, supportive shoes that I can trust. A huge shout out to Zappo’s for their incredible staff!! The free shipping is priceless. Thank you, thank you??

I always wear size 10 1/2 - 11 and ordered the Alegria Caiti in that size. The boot is cute and comfortable but it’s going back because it ran very large. I would recommend going down a full size.

Comfortable from the first moment on my feet. I’ve had this shoe before and both times felt it was a little tight through the upper top part of arch. So this time I ordered a wide and still felt it. I have several pairs of Akk look geriatric and this is the only shoe I’ve had with this. But still love them!

These are beautiful shoes. Was surprised that there is a bit of a fur lining inside for warmth - not heavy but certainly enough to take the chill off cold days. During the summer tho, this would make the shoe too hot. They are well made and I love the velcro for easy on/off. The arch support is interesting - a bit higher up, more like a metatarsal support which honestly feels great. I was doubtful at first, as someone who has always put my own arch support insoles in shoes but this honestly feels wonderful. If only there was some cushion! Surprising that they didn't add any. The sole is hard plastic with no grip - definitely bound to slip. Then on top of that is an insole with no cushion, no give. I put in thin cushions from another shoe but that made it a bit too tight. I thought of taking out the insoles but for the price and considering the insoles have that cool support, taking them out would defeat the purpose of the shoe. If they were $50, I would probably keep them. But for $109? No.

Oddly sized and odd to look at. Strange looking boots that are wider and shorter than their size suggests. Not easy to put on with my high arch and unbending toe. They have less of a rocker sole than the Debra, so they wouldn't even be helpful for my hallux rigidus.

I have a lot of trouble with my feet,(planter,s faciitis, ball of foot pain, top of foot pain, swelling) and I thought the design of this boot would be beneficial to me. I was mistaken. After an 8 hour day I am in substancial pain, can barely walk and wound up with 4 blisters after my last use. Very sad I wasted my money. I am not, however, your typical customer. I am 51, work two jobs, and am on my feet an average of 14-16 hours a day - I have lots of trouble finding shoes that will work for me.

Alegria soles are great for those with foot pain. Also has a wide toe box! The ‘class act’ has subtle embossed design with contrast stitching and the butterfly is visible. The ‘nightingale’ is embossed but completely black with no contrast stitching and also the butterfly is black so there is no contrast. The ‘upgrade ‘ color is black smooth leather with no contrast at all . Smooth leather is elegant and the embossing is artistic, both are beautiful. Thank you Zappos for helping me find the right pair.

I am soooo thrilled with these boots (and the corresponding clogs). I am healing plantar fascitis in one foot + Morton's neuroma in the other, and now have orthotic inserts, metatarsal pads and toe spacers that have to fit into my shoes. Until I remembered Alegria's foot-shaped shoes, I've been in despair over having to wear the same Altra running shoes every single day for the foreseeable future. Ugh. Unfortunately, the arch in the Alegria footpad isn't right for my arch, so I've had to remove the insoles. Instead, I've replaced it with a gel insole and the podiatrist recommended orthotic insoles, and YAY! The support is right, and the toe of the shoes has plenty of space for all the gear plus my short wide feet. The padding around the ankles is really soft, and the velcro closure lets me get them closed snugly. And now I can wear normal and stylish shoes with skirts and leggings intead of neon sneakers.
