If anyone feels that the size they normally wear is too small but even a half size up is too big, which was my case, ordering the wide width will help out a lot. I usually wear a 7 and it was too tight but 7.5 was too big. So I got a 7W and it is really comfortable in the foot. The ankle area doesn't fit snugly in general but I think that that is just the style of the boots. Calf area fits fine with room for jeggings. Not sure if it is because of the wide width or if wide only applies tot the foot area. Hope this helps those who really want to keep these boots!

A keeper! I ordered the Ugg Savanna, the Jambu Colorado and this boot. I almost didn't order this one, it was kind of a backup, but ended up being the only keeper. The shaft height is perfect for petites and doesn't cover the whole calf like most other boots, and is much more flattering both with skinny jeans and with skirts and dresses. This is also the only boot that looked good with casual dresses, work dresses, and skinny jeans. They are also true to size and really comfortable. I wouldn't hike in them and there is a heel but I could definitely wear them all day at work without any problem. The footbed isn't as padded as a Jambu, but it has some give, and the sole is flexible. I do with the boot was a bit higher quality. I can see where it's glued mid-sole (made in China) but I'm keeping it anyway because I can't find a boot that looks better than this one no matter how much money I spend (I've tried on all the more expensive ones, like Fryes and Uggs and so on, but this is still the best all around).

These are beautiful boots, even for a size 11. However, the shaft is too narrow for my largish calf. FYI the outside circumference of the shaft for a size 11 is 17 inch I wish, wish, wish the calf fit.

Really great looking boots, perfect height to wear with leggings. Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size up in the wide width. My feet are a little wide to begin with and they fit perfect.

Beautiful boots. I usually wear either a 6 1/2 or a 7 and due to the other reviews saying they run small, I ordered the 7 and they are still a bit tight. I figure I will use them with thicker socks, so I am returning them for a 7 1/2 and that is almost always a size too big for me, so I would say they run 1/2 to a full size too small. Regardless, they are gorgeous and if they truly are waterproof, should be a perfect boot.

These boots are super comfortable for heeled boots. Plus I had to purchase the dark olive color since that is all they had in my size and they look so dark, almost like black, which is great. Rubber heels provide lots of comfort and the lining provides a little extra warmth. Personally, I needed to go with the extra wide since I do not like tight boots and they fit well. I love these boots!

Great Boot! They arrived on Wednesday and I took them on a trip on Thursday. First day I wore them for 10 hours, sightseeing, taking my son to the aquarium, hanging out. So comfortable! They even make my size 11 feet look small. They can handle the weather, they look great over skinny jeans. Love them!

I had been looking for a pair of boots for several months. I knew what I liked but most seemed to cheap. Then I spotted the Timberland Earthkeepers and they looked great. I ordered them and when they got here I was so happy. The leather is real, the fit was so comfortable. I wore them over 8 hours the very first day. I did not need to break them in. I love these boots.

Absolutely gorgeous boot. They look fantastic with jeans or a dress/skirt. They are also very comfortable. I live in Montreal and walk around the city (about 4-5 km) every day. My feet feel comfortable all day long. They do run a bit small so I went up half a size and wide. If you often get tiny little calluses on your pinky toe, you probably have a wider foot. Definitely order this boot in wide!

I absolutely love these boots. They are casual yet stylish, waterproof, and come with Timberland quality. The leather is beautiful and the chunky heels provide height and stability. The boots are comfortable. I have worn them with jeans, skirts and dresses and the boots complement them beautifully. My only complaint is that these boots are on the heavy side. If you wear them all day, at the end of the day, your calves are tired. I ordered 8½W and 9W. The 8½W fit me perfectly, but I kept the 9W, thinking that I would wear them with thicker socks. In retrospect, I wish that I had kept my regular size, 8½. My heels are sliding up and down. I am hoping that even thicker socks could resolve that issue.

Beautiful boot in black and olive, unfortunately the sizes didn't work out for me. I'm very sad there isn't a 9 wide in black.

These are the boots that I have been looking for. I wanted something that looked 70's retro, with a stacked heel. I had a pair of Zodiak boots in the '70's and miss them, these are very close. The only problem is that they do run small. I am usually a true size 11. Based on other reviews, I got the 11W, since 11 is the largest size. A 12W would have been perfect, but 11 is OK. There is no room for thicker socks, but that is fine. I will take these to shoe repair to stretch just a bit. I have 17" calves, and these are OK. I absolutely love the look, and so far these are not a problem to walk in.

Love these boots! I have a very wide foot and they did need a little breaking in for comfort but I'm thinking of buying them in black! I did have to return for 1/2 size smaller.

Very cute boot. I was worried about the size based on other reviews saying to order up a size. I have an average 8.5 foot. I was going to order a size 9, but 8.5 was my only option so I decided to get it, partially expecting to send it back. No way is it going back and I am so glad I did not go with the 9, the 8.5 is perfect! Bought the dark brown and am going to order black now. Thanks Zappos for the Amazing Price!

I absolutely love these boots! I went by the recommendations of others who loved them and I am so happy that I did. I bought black and am looking to buy the dark brown soon! They are stylish, comfortable and great quality!

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. The first day I wore them, I walked for miles and didn't have a blister or an ache. You can not go wrong with these.

Very happy with these boots. I can wear them all day. I've worn them with pants, skirts and dresses. It's nice to know that if it ever rains again, they should keep my feet dry. They are warm, so I don't know how they'll feel for Spring/Summer. I always wear a size 8 but in these: 8 1/2.

I love these boots. I didn't think they were going to be so comfortable! I can walk in them all day and my feet don't hurt or feel tired at all. I definitely recommend these boots!

These boots are awesome! They are comfy and fit well, but still high enough to look great. I am a teacher and have worn them all day at school on my feet -- my feet were only a little tired at the end of the day. I will definitely wear them to work again. These look great with jeans or a dress, and I like how they fit snugly over skinny jeans. They don't wiggle around. I'm trying to justify getting another pair in a different color!

Beautiful! I'm not a daily heel person, but with these I can see things changing. Very comfy, heel is the perfect height. Looks great under jeans.

I read the other reviews to get an idea of what size to order. I'm usually a 8.5 medium ins shoes though I sometimes take a 9 (especially in a boot!) I ordered and 9.5 medium and couldn't ask for a better fit. Ordered black --- the white stitching shows up more on the actual boot then on the monitor but figured within a few months it will tone down a bit. thing is

I first saw these boots in the holiday Victoria's Secret catalog and fell in love with them. I cut out the photo and forgot about it for months, then came across it again and found them for a much better price on Zappos. I read the reviews and was left with the impression that they would run small so I ordered 7 and 7 1/2. I usually wear 7, and these are the ones I kept. When you receive them they have a cardboard insert in the top you need to remove, this may account for people saying they couldn't get their foot in. Also, they come with a removable arch support that you can replace with your own orthodontics as I did. They're beautiful boots with a very nice printed lining. I wore these last night to an event with a skirt and blazer but you could also wear them casually with jeans, I found them to be very comfortable. You can't beat Zappos free shipping and returns, it's a very efficient process to return an item and I would order two sizes again if I wasn't sure which size to get.

Holy wow, these boots are gorgeous! I ordered them in the copper. They were darker than I thought I wanted but they didn't have some of the other browns in my size, and wow, I'm so glad I got them in this color. These boots are gorgeous! They have a really rusticated look to them that you can't really see in the photo. The height, and calf width is just perfect. I love these so much. You can wear them with skirts or jeans or anything. Awesome. I ordered the size I usually wear and they fit fine. I do run on the narrow side, however.
