Comfortable from the very first day. At first I thought they were a little tight across the top of my foot, but the leather gives nicely. Beautiful boots and the Nike Air makes them so comfy!

I bought these in black at the Cole Haan store today and I can safely say they practically render all other shoes inadequate. Pictures don't do them justice. The Air Evan is sturdy and really comfortable, but still manages a totally timeless and elegant silhouette. Really beautiful. And the brass rings are such a crucial touch.

I sized up as other reviewers suggested and ordered the 9.5aa (instead of my usual 9aa). They are a true narrow and fit perfectly. If you waver between narrow and medium, the narrow is not for you. Heel doesn't slip, and they are comfortable out of the box. These are likely to be my go-to weekend shoe.

Okay, so these boots are maybe the best short boots ever constructed. At first I was like, "Nope, these are too narrow and won't work." But then, something magical happened. The buttery leather became supple and formed to my foot, giving in all the right places. After about an hour of in-house wear, these shoes have become my favorite go-to boots, especially in the messy "spring" weather of Portland, Oregon. I did have to wear a thin sock with them for a couple days, but now they are comfy with my Smartwools. Seriously, you will not regret adding this boot to your collection. They instantly make any outfit look classy and put together, and are a wonderful support for a long day on your feet. One more thing I love about them: They are perfect for bike riding! The sole isn't too chunky to fit in a toe cage or strap, and they don't get dangerously stuck on my pedal like my Hunters do. Plus, they're seriously waterproof. Amazing. I am in love.

I have had these boots on my wish list for some time. As soon as they went on sale, I snatched them up! I was worried that my regular size of 6 would be too snug with socks so I ordered 6½. I didn't like the slight sliding forward of my feet when I walked in them so I ordered 6 instead. Although the length was perfect the boots were narrow in size 6. My feet are a bit wide for normal but not wide enough for wide in width. With socks on my toes got crowded; sideways. After wearing them for several hours my toes felt pinched. I keep wearing them because I keep thinking that they will stretch out a bit. I prefer the snug feel as long as my toes are not crowded (length-wise) I absolutely love these boots though. So if you are deciding between two sizes, I would recommend ordering both to try them out. If that is not possible, take a look at how you typically like your shoes to fit. If you want some room all around, go half a size up. If not, stick to your regular size but keep in mind that they might be a big snug in width.

These are sleek, classic, polished, casual, refined details, good materials well made, comfortable. This brand has high durability and does not disappoint in terms of quality. I suggest ordering half a size up.

This is my second pair of this style. I like that the heel is a tad higher then flat. The style is basic but classic. The shoes are very comfortable and become more so with wear. I have not worn them in wet weather, but I have trekked around the city with them, and they were great and good looking.

These boots were comfortable right out of the box! Perfect fit. I would recommend these Cole Haan boots. They were worth the money.

Very comfortable. I did not go up a size and it fit well, although a little tight, but they are already stretching to accommodate. Great boot.

If you want all day comfort then these boots will provide. It might be the nike technology in the sole that does the trick. There was no break in period required. They aren't the most feminine boot out there, but if you are looking for a nice boot under jeans or trousers, then these will work.

These boots were a little snug in my regular size 7.5, so I returned them for a half size up, particularly as I like to wear socks with boots. The size 8 fit perfectly and these were incredibly comfortable from the start. Thought I would only wear them when it was wet out, but wear them all the time since they are really good looking and comfortable. As it is hard for me to find comfortable boots or shoes, I got an extra pair for when these wear out!

Wow. These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I wore them on a trip right after getting them. No problems at all at end of the day. Love the style; classic but a higher heel which I need for height and high arches. Worth every penny for something this comfortable with great style and waterproof to boot! True to my size.

Love this boot. Bought it to replace a similar Italian made leather boot that I've had about 15 years. I have a wide foot with a narrow heal and an average leg and ankle size. The boot does go on and fit snugly and I did use the handy tab, but the boot is very comfortable and supportive once it is on. I wear a size 6 to 6.5 and ordered the 6.5 after reading other reviews advising to size up. I would recommend thin socks. From experience with my other boot with the elastic side panels, I do feel the boot will be easier to put on and off as time and wear got on. I highly recommend the boot. I wore it all day long the first day and it was extremely supportive and comfortable. I plan to order it in another color in the next few days.

This boot is gorgeous and I get LOTS of compliments on it. I bought it in the lighter brown color called Woodbury (now Sequoia) and I love it. I did find it ran small and purchased a half size up. It is very comfortable and I can walk all day in it. I would highly recommend this boot.

If you have a narrow foot, these are for you! I have a very narrow heel ("low volume" narrow foot), and skinny ankle. These boots fit like a glove, though I'd advice going up a half size. I'm usually a 9AA in a Cole Haan or Stuart Weitzman. I got a 9AA in these, but will have to wear a pretty thin sock. But they are fantastic! The Nike Air makes them very comfortable, too.

I have several pairs of Cole Haan boots and normally wear a size 8, but I went up to a size 8.5 in these because of other reviews, and they fit perfectly. They are so comfortable. Anyone that wants a classic look without a high heel should consider these. They are awesome--plus waterproof!

I bought these boots and wore them on a trip. I walked on average 6-8 hours per day in these boots. They were awesome. They did not need to be broken-in and were extremely comfortable. I plan to get a second pair just to have in case they are discontinued.

These boots are very comfortable, well made construction, stylish boots. Compared to last year's model, the width is slightly narrower than regular B/M width. Otherwise, I do not see any downside to these boots. I am very satisfied of my a little investment.

Very comfortable and easy to get on/off. I haven't had then out in the water yet but them see to hold up to mud pretty well.

Read the reviews. Best tip. Get a half size larger since you have to pull these on. The 8.5 fits like an 8. Very stylish. Will take some time to break in, but they feel very well made and substantial enough to hold up for years.

Footbed very hard for a boot supposed to have Air. The hell just a 1/2 inch is too high as well. Great narrow size though, too bad for such handsome boot.

I have only worn them twice since I got them. Think they will get better with age. Had to put a pad under ball of my foot so my foot wouldn't slide to the toe. My feet are narrow, but I have bunions so I have to buy Medium instead of narrow and it is a good width. Cute on.
