By AZ Weagle on March 24, 2014 Bought these boots in 2011 before I started my first trail crew. Worked 7 months on the PCT wore the boots 80% of the time during that time. Wore them again on doing a trails survey crew. And finally finished up a 14 straight months of trail work and saw crews. I've had them resoled once and need to do it a second time. The only problem I've had is the seem in the back is finally coming undone. It's an easy fix. Point being, I've given these boots just about the hardest ride they could of taken in a 3 year time period. Desert, snow, swamps, NW rainforest, lava fields, warehouses, big burns etc Buy these boots

I just recieved these boots. They are very sturdy and comfortable. Overall they just seem like big boots. They are very cushy on the feet. I hope I still like them as time goes by, otherwise they were a very exspensive mistake.

I know that most people would think that the price for these Tofanes is a bit steep, but the old adage is so true. You do get what you pay for. I am not a hard core hiker, but I do live in a place where it’s cold and snowy most of the year. Now I can’t wait for winter, but it’s only June. I just wanted a beautiful pair of boots. I know that these boots will last for years. I’m a real fan of quality, and these are it. Low cost boots just need to be replaced every couple of years. Having to replace a low quality gear frequently will ultimately cost you more in the long run. When I put these bad boys on, they immediately enveloped my feet in amazing comfort. I have worn Merrells for years. My new Zambies make the Merrells seem like Walmart specials. These Zamberlans are my first pair, and won’t be my last. I have been wanting these Tofanes for a while, I was considering the Vioz, I’m really glad I finally pulled the trigger on the superior Tofane. Listen to most of the reviews for these amazing Italian works of true perfection. Take your boots to a new level, buy them. You really will be glad you did.

I’m a General Contractor in the Pacific Northwest USA, I can go thru most boots in less than a year per pair. I bought two pair of the Tofane and they are hands down the best boots I’ve ever purchased. I resoled one pair after a year and a half and the uppers are still in tact and waterproof. Just started the second pair into a rotation.

I like these boots they are very comfortable. Feels like you are walking on air. It’s has a great leather upper and sole.

Too small for my size 13 feet.

I'm a big fan of Zamberlan in general, and these boots make my top choice for medium- to heavy-weight full-support hiking boots. They understand the importance of waterproof bonding of the sole to the upper. The interior fabric and padding is nicely cushioned in the right areas. The spacing of lacing grommets is perfect for variably adjusting the fit at the toebox, around the midfoot, and at the ankle. I've worn out previous pairs of similar boots and glad to have a fresh pair equal to the previous.

Feels great wearing them. Plenty of support all around. A very tailored fit.

Zamberlan boots are amazing. Because they are built to last a lifetime, they will take a little while to break in. I put a lot of miles on them so it is very nice that they can be re-soled as well. Before these boots my feet would hurt, now they don't. I constantly recommend these boots to people that I work with because they complain about their feet hurting. I will have these boots the rest of my life, they are awesome.
