I expected to love these as I am a big fan of Dansko clogs. The decorative design looked very cheap. The ankle area is very wide, but then there wasn't enough depth for my high arches.

After four elective foot surgeries, I am very selective about shoes and feel it necessary to be kind to my feet. I love these boots. After torturing my feet over the weekend in very high heels at a ball, these boots were like Heaven all day today at work for my tired and aching feet -- today was their debut, too -- no breaking in of which to speak. Once my body heat warmed up the boots, there was no stiffness -- was a little worried at first when I walked down the stairs in my apartment, but was then relieved. I would pay nearly any amout of money for Dansko. I have had several pairs of the Professional clog, a pair of shorter boots (the Scout) and a pair of Mary Janes (Marah) and don't plan to stop buying Dansko now. Great arch support, too, for my super flat feet. My calves are pretty large given all of the dancing over the years, but they do fit in these -- but with no extra room like the girl without calves in the video has. Absolutely love these, and they're totally cute.

I am so happy with my purchase of the full-grain leather Dansko Rylans! I receive tons of compliments on these. I never wear heels, but I feel very stable and comfortable in these, and they provide great arch support, too. I have fairly wide calves, and these do fit over leggings or skinny jeans, but certainly without any extra room. The stretch panel at the top is a great feature. I do have a few complaints about these boots, though. Why not make the zipper full-length? They are not easy to get on and off. At the end of a full day of walking in these the bottoms of my feet feel like they have been rubbed raw. I may try some sort of insert to see if that helps, since the soles are so hard. Overall, these babies are cool!

I've tried many boots this year- so many I think Zappos will soon blacklist me! ;) I own a lot of Dansko shoes and have always been very happy with them. These boots are no exception! Dansko are the shoes you put on at the end of a long day when your feet hurt. I tried these boots in both the crazy horse and the full grain. I chose the full grain for the pop of red it has. The boots are a little stiff so I wouldn't recommend them for the Stairmaster, but if you suffer from foot problems you will appreciate the extra support. They are worth the money.

The good: They are really cute boots...nice stud detailing with a quality leather. The arch support is wonderful. I like the shaft height - it's a nice mid-shaft boot. The shaft circumference was even good for my somewhat muscular calves. I was even pleasantly surprised the size 38 (7.5-8) was perfect for my average size 8 foot with a bit of room to spare. The heel height is perfect. The bad for me: I like soft supple boots, and these are not! The leather is stiff, the sole is stiff (I was hoping the black version wasn't a wooden heel, but it was). There is no give on these at all. Maybe you don't mind that. That was the only thing I didn't like. For me, and for that price, I would rather have a buttery soft leather.

These boots are the worst Dansko purchase I've ever made, and I'm a diehard Dansko fan. Painful to wear, impossible to stuff jeans into the 3/4 zipper. Really hard, uncomfortable sole. I wish I'd returned them, but I honestly thought they'd feel better after a day or two of wear. A huge mistake. Buy the Dansko Brinkley instead. They are amazingly comfortable and get lots of compliments.

Best boots ever! Wore them right out of the box to a concert, lots of walking and standing and no achy feet!

When I saw these boots, they screamed my name. They fit like they were made just for me. I have an issue with a bunion on my right foot; they don't bother it. I don't know why the one chick said the detail was cheap. There ain't nuthin' cheap about these boots. They are true Dansko fit, quality and comfort. And now, sexy! Woo hoo!

I love these boots! Just wore them again today for a full 8 hours and they feel like a Dansko. I also love that they fit my 16 1/4 inch calves. I can't tuck my pants in them but they fit! I've purchased and returned about 6-8 pairs of tall boots before I found these to fit my calves and are comfortable! Buy them. They're expensive but so worth it just like all my other Dansko shoes!

I love these boots, the style, the comfort. I wore them for the first time walking all around Chicago, my feet felt great!

Wonderful fit, very true to size. Nice arch support. A lot of attention to detail was put into this boot design. Receive many compliments when wearing these stylish boots! Love them and wear them often.

Sturdy, comfortable, height enhancing boot. Classy and rugged at same time, wish shaft was taller. Looks good under pants and with skirts short and long.

Finally a way to wear high heels without pain. I have a neuroma in my left foot and struggle to find high heeled shoes that won't trigger pain. These boots are wonderful because the whole foot is on a high platform so there is no downward pressure on the toes. Plus, they are stylish and look great with leggings and skirts. I highly recommend them.

I haven't been able to wear heels for years, but these have ARCH SUPPORT and are amazingly comfortable for a heeled boot and look fabulous. I get compliments every time I wear them.

These boots keep getting better and better every time I wear them. The leather seems to get softer every day. I love them! These are my first pair of boots ever, and now I'm hooked. I never thought I could wear boots because my arch is high and nothing was very comfortable for me. These boots are fabulous all day long, and they are warm!! The leather lining is key to their warmth and comfort. It pained me to pay so much money for footwear, but these are worth every penny and I'm very thankful to have them!! Honestly, I prefer them to my Dansko clogs which, until now, I thought were the greatest things ever. Wow!

I LOVE these boots. They fit just like my other Dansko clogs and have a solid sole, which I needed. I only wish they extended higher up my calf.

Love these boots. They could not be more comfortable. I wear them for walking around all day and I don't have any complaints.

I love these boots! I was worried about size as the clogs sit a little loose (I wear the clogs to work in health care). Love 'em! No break in period, and I can walk in them all night. I live in Colorado, and they go great w/ casual skirts and jeans etc. I think the details are cool and classic in a casual way. They're super cool and way comfy. The size felt true to size for Dansko w/out being as loose as the clogs. There's good arch support too.

I adore these boots! I purchased them in brown full grain leather. I wear Dansko clogs for work, and the sizing for the boots is the same. They are comfortable, and as others have said, they require no break-in. I have gotten many compliments, especially when wearing them with jeans. The only drawback for me is the calf width. I have shorter legs and a wide calf, so the boots are a little snug. I am hoping that the boots will stretch after a few more wearings.

Best boots ever! Amazing support, very comfortable. Required no breaking in. I am a nurse and have worn Dansko's since 1980's. Love Danskos.

Most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I walk 20 minutes to and from school every day and the arch support prevent my feet from hurting when I wear them.
