Only lasted 2 months / 320k steps before the back busted out.

I bought these for my husband who's 47 years old and wanted a casual shoe to wear with jeans and t shirts. They're really cool shoes and I was pleased that he likes them so much. My husband has a wide foot, so ideally he'd have these in a wider size if they made them. He's keeping them and wearing the laces looser because they're such a nice looking shoe. Other than that, he says they're comfortable. He usually wears an 11 1/2, but I ordered a 12 due to the other reviewers requests. I'm glad I did. They seem to run a 1/2 size small.

I find them more comfortable than Vans. They look great.

This is the second time buying these and always loved the styling of them. I used to wear Vans but I felt like they did not have much support for my arch. They look good and feel good. They do run a little tight so if you are in between sizing I suggest going up a half size. Even for all day on my feet use these are great shoes.

This shoe may appear to be grey and maybe like a purple color? In person they appear to be more of a gray with some purple in it. I really like this shoe; runs small so get a half or next size up. Surprisingly comfortable. And the ladies love me when I wear these and a pair of slim jeans. Great shoe, comfy, classy, and cheap. All hail the three c's!

I love this shoe. It looks good and it feels good. This is a perfect shoe for anyone who doesn't have too wide feet. If you do, stay away. I have seen many reviews with people who couldn't fit the shoe because it is a little narrower than usual for a DC shoe.

Here it is almost a year after I bought these shoes with near daily wear and they have held up really well. Tread is still there, no cracks on rubber, and the canvas looks good despite me being in a pretty rainy / wet climate.

Great size, comfy fit

I bought these for my boyfriend. He has a narrow foot and normally wears an 11.5. Per the reviews I ordered him a 12 and they fit perfect. He loves them and said they are extremely comfortable.

I ordered an 11 1/2 as I usually stick with. These were were tight length-wise. I liked the shoe and would have ordered a 12 but all sold out of next size up.

These were for my son, they look really sharp. We were originally looking at Converse, though we love the style he found them really uncomfortable. (I agree, they take a long time to break in.) The DC Anvil was a great alternative - still has that style we were looking for, but a much more comfortable wear!

You had these shoes even when the dc factory was out . Not 1 store within 2 hours of me had these shoes. You got them to me within a week. Thank you , these are the only shoes i wear.

These are awesome shoes! I went with my standard athletic shoe size (11.5) and they fit perfect. I was surprised at the arch support. They are overall very comfortable and a very stylish summer sneaker. You get that skater shoe look without all the padding. Soles are nice and solid rubber with good grip.

Incredibly comfy and great looking shoes.

My husband loves these shoes. They have the skater shoe look but without all of the padding that doesn't work well for people with wide feet. Once they wear out he always gets the same exact style to replace them.

Zappos is truly the best when it comes to price and service. My sons DC Anvil shoes did not fit, I called Zappos and they sent a larger pair that day. They also emailed me a return label. Nobody does this kind of service. I have been buying from Zappos for several years and I will continue to buy for several more. Thanks Zappos for the great service.

My new favorite shoes. I've always liked this style of shoe and the DC Anvil is a perfect update to a classic design. Not too radical, a little old school, great colors and the suede! Dude, the suede. This is my third pair. If they make more colors, I'll buy them.

I really love these shoes. They fit so nicely and snug on my feet. These are definitely the shoes for me. They have nice arch support inside the shoes that make standing in them very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these shoes to everyone.

They look and feel good on my feet. They're suede, so they're easily scuffed. Tread carefully.

The only reason it gets 4 for overall was the durability in a cold/wet climate but even then they (since being basically the only shoes I had in that time) help up fairly well and would recommend them.
