If you have a belly these will roll down under a dress. I have tried them under pants,but the waist kind of slides/rolls. This defeats the purpose.

Meh. I was really excited about these, but really they are just meh. I might change my mind in the summer. But they kind of roll around the legs and around the waist. Perhaps I got the wrong size? But I don't think so. Love the Spanx tights and hose though.

They roll up at the legs and roll down at the waist. Do not like them at all.

I think Spanx Skinny Britches are a terrific investment. I have two pairs that I wear with skirts/dresses. I find them to be very comfortable; although I did experience them rolling down a bit at first, I just played around with the height that I pulled them up to until I found what worked for me. These also hold up well. I put them in the washer with other clothes but then let them air dry. These aren't as shaping as other Spanx products, but if you read up fully on the skinny britches product description, they aren't meant to be anyways.

Granted, I did not try these on, but I didn't want to -- the material was thin (I know, it says they're sheer, but you'd actually have to be careful about show-through if you were wearing a thin-ish dress, if you know what I mean). The material is also kind of rough or plastic-y, and the seam in the back is big! (I'm thinking: uncomfortable on the tuchus!) Also, the legs: "laser-cut"? It looks like they were just cut off with scissors - there are tiny threads coming off that I worry would unravel further. I have the original Spanx Power Panties, and I fail to see why these cost more, or are superior in any way.

I wore them to a wedding, and they worked great!

I thought these were going to feel like steel around my body, but I was pleasantly surprised by the non-invasive comfort.

I absolutely love my skinny britches!!! They are very thin and fit great under my clothes. They are the perfect weight to wear in the summer or all year long.

I have these in several colors and they are great to ease the thigh discomfort that some of us ladies have along with our cute summer skirts. I have worn the XL size while was a size 12 to a 16. Definitely order a bigger size if you are not looking for slimming, but just want to make those skirts more comfortable.

I love the way I look when I wear these. They're slimming, but not overly tight. I find that the britches roll when I've put on a few extra pounds. Otherwise, they're perfect!

I ordered a couple different style of Spanx to wear with a form fitting dress. I liked these best because it was a nice heavy material, but not too heavy. It didn't feel like it was going to stretch out or run like some of the other more nylon-like products. My only complaint (that I couldn't predict) was the legs rolling up when I sat down. The top didn't roll on me at all, but the legs were constantly rolling up, and it wasn't easy to adjust on the go. The sizing was perfect according to the chart.

Skinny Britches are so much more comfortable than the other Spanx. Very thin but does the trick. I have big thighs and it did not roll. A little rolling at the top but it is so thin that you cant notice.

I was hoping to wear these under a pencil skirt to smooth my hips, but no go. As other reviewers have said, they roll up at the legs and down at the hips. They also don't go quite high enough to manage the "love handle" area. Returning these and trying another, higher pair.

These roll down at waist and legs roll up! Spanx said they tested them and to get larger size. I did and same thing. I reallly liked the idea of just a little smoothing but no thanks, spanx.

Terrible product. Rolls up at thighs and rolls down at waist, leaving huge seam marks. Should be discontinued.

Terrible. I wish I could return them. Wore them once and the top rolls down and the legs roll up. Impossible to wear.

Terrible rolling issues. The minute I sat down, these were rolling up my leg and creating a line in my thigh that would be visible under clothing. Otherwise the material, color and fabric weight was just right. They need to figure out how to stop the rolling. Returned!

I love these! They're perfect and invisible under yoga pants and other tight pants. They're extremely comfortable and thin, so you barely notice them. I own 4 pairs and wear them all the time. Highly recommended! I just wish they were less expensive!

Love! I wear mine with all my skirts and dresses. The bottoms do roll up a little, but nothing that is too annoying.

I love skinny britches! These are what you need if you want the look of control top pantyhose with out the "hose" part. I wear every day under my dresses and skirts... they are not super compression type shorts like the power panty ones and they aren't meant to be. I don't have the problem with the top rolling over, but maybe it's because I have the right size. There is a tendency for the legs to roll up and easy to adjust if I'm wearing a skirt or dress in the privacy of the bathroom stall or in my cubicle.

I love the Skinny Britches. They are very light weight, but hold you in. Very comfortable! And the legs and waist do not roll up on you. I'd say they are true to size. I'm usually a medium and they fit perfectly.

These are the best Spanx I have found - although lighter control - for every day easy wear to stay smooth under dresses! Thin, very little rolling, not detectable, very comfortable, don't frighten men.

After reading reviews, I ordered the XL. I am a size 8 and worried an XL might be too big. It was not so at all! A smooth fit, not too binding and no muffin top at the waist. The legs do roll up a bit during the day so I wear mostly skirts or dresses in order to adjust as needed. I can deal with it because I love how comfortable they are. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Have to agree with so many other reviewers- these are amazing for the summer heat issue of thigh chafing with skirts. I am usually a size 10, but got an XL on other people's recommendation- so happy that I did. A very small bit of rolling at the bottom (not enough to even touch, didn't notice until taking them off) and no rolling at the top with this larger size. The nude color is truly that- a cross between a nylon and the normal short material that I wear under skirts. Usually I wear black, but I'm getting another pair of nude because it's sheer enough to barely see, and it's just long enough to do the job and not be seen unless you're really leaning over! Definitely go up a size if you're not using them to hold too much in.

This is the first one of these types of garments that I have bought. Never could stomach the thought of being squeezed into a girdle but needed something other panties with lines under certain clothes. These do exactly what I want them to do. They are more "smoothing" than "shaping". They roll a little bit on the waist but are fine on the legs. I think sizing would be important on this - I'm a solid size 6 (5'8" 140lb) and ordered a medium. Smalls would be too tight and rolling down I'm sure. These are great under light colored pencil skirts or dresses and I will order another pair, for sure!
