We were looking for a basic backpack in our school colors to carry essentials to the kids' events. Love the look of this. The material is a little stiff, but my husband believes that makes it more water resistant. We haven't had to test that yet. Front zip pocket is a good size to hold needed items (phone, gum, tissues), and there's a padded compartment at the top that is perfect for sunglasses. I did find a defect in one of the side "water bottle" pockets but opted to sew it rather than order a replacement. Overall, we're pretty satisfied with this purchase.

Biggest problem for us was that it was not roomy enough for the needs of a middle schooler, much less a high schooler. It could only hold a large binder and a large textbook. We were much happier with the room of the Burton Distortion Pack. Construction and style, however, were awesome!

This pack is made really well, and my son loves it because he can carry his skateboard. Not heavy and not too big.

This backpack is a to smaller than it seemed in the picture. I am returning it because it is too small.

I bought this pack for my granddaughter, and she really loves it. She's the only kid in her class that has one like it. I think she would give it 5 stars. It is nice looking and seems very durable.

We ordered this bag for our oldest son who is an eighth grader. The bag is perfect, a great size-not too large but large enough. There is plenty of room for his books and binders. There is also great space in the front sipper pocket for supplies. We love the color combination, it is a very hip and sophisticated look. The bag also has great comfort and support. He has gotten so many compliments! It is a overall great bag!

Perfect school bag. Super pumped I picked it up. Big enough to hold all your books but not too big where it's overwhelming.

Great bag. Inexpensive and does what I need it to! Carry's my laptop, I can strap a skateboard on when desired, and has room for my water bottle. Plus I love the colors!

This is an excellent product. I had an excellent shopping experience. I have used Zappos many times and never have had a problem.

Nothing but pure awesome, only downfall if you can even call it that, the strap in the front would be nice with a tiny whistle like the north face. Aside from that, I love the design. Wish they had it in blue to match my bike but the red looks hot.

I originally bought this for my 16 year old daughter, who didn't like it (too dark) it almost looks black in person. So getting ready to return it and my 17 year old son took it, love it. Not a very large backpack but big enough your senior year and not as many books.

I like the look of this backpack a lot. Although, online it looks like the straps are pink, when I got it they were red which was not a big deal. I like the laptop compartment, I feel comfortable putting my bare laptop in it when I walk around campus. All around decent backpack.

I really like the bag, it's comfortable, looks stylish and strong, but I think it needs more pockets since it has only two!

Have nothing bad to say and my 14 yo loves it. She is in 9th grade and this bag is large enough to accommodate for all necessary books and supplies.

Our boys love these. The patterns are really stylee, and the construction is excellent. The main compartment has a separator that could be for a laptop, but they use it for their elementary school folders thus keeping their papers safe from getting crunched. The rest of the compartment is more than enough space for a sweatshirt, lunchpail, and baseball mitt. The outer pockets are small, but good for sunglasses or other little items. The side mesh pockets are great for waterbottles or rolled up artwork. The skateboard strap doesn't get used often, but also works well.

Great bag...not too big, but just enough to carry school packs and even a smaller lap top. Great quality, awesome color!

Nice backpack; love the design, but the space needed was not enough. The thing I liked most about it was the computer compartment in the main compartment.

I purchased this backpack 4 years ago and very satisfied with the purchase. It’s very durable and it is used daily for work. Will definitely purchase this brand of backpacks from now on.

Great quality and just the right size for my daily commute. I chose this backpack because I was looking for something without that mesh pad on the back. The last pack was ruining most of shirts by causing the fabric to pill.

Great backpack for my 11year old. He's average size for his age and the backpack is not too big for him yet big enough to fit all his books and extras. The bottom is thick and durable. Straps are cushy and don't rub into his neck like others have. This is my second Burton backpack purchase and am very happy with their products! :)
