I have a similar "The Sac " handbag. The strap is incredibly cheap. After the first month, the leather coating started chipping off revealing that the inside of the strap was made of cardboard. Really? A purse strap made from cardboard? I would never purchase from this company again. It's a shame because the purse itself is a nice leather.

I received my order and I have mixed reviews. My bag in yellow is a great color and the leather is very good quality. The bag hangs well and is very roomy. I wish the strap was adjustable and that the side pockets were either a little smaller or had some kind of closure. On reviews I read prior to purchasing I saw issues that the strap did not hold up and was cheaply made. I have to agree that it is not the same quality as the bag and I have to hope it holds up. With the strap being poorly made I feel the sale price was in line. I have been looking for a hobo bag for over a year and without Zappos I would never have been able to see so many bags at no additional costs to me.

I love everything about this bag. It is the perfect size and is very high quality. It has more structure than the other sak bags I have had. The leather is very nice and there are many pockets inside and one pocket on either end where the strap meets the bodice. The strap is the perfect length to carry over my shoulder. The soft material does cause it to slip off my arm sometimes, only drawback.

I used to change bags every six months, spring and fall I would buy a new bag. I bought this Sak Kendra in red at least 5 years ago, I love it so much, I've never switched to anything else for longer than a one day event. The quality of the leather is fantastic, strap, lining, zippers and all it's in amazing shape. It's showing a little bit of wear but aside from that is in just as good of shape today as it was when I bought it. The quality is amazing! I love the style and size of the bag, big enough to put everything I need in without being so big I cram the kitchen sink into it. The strap is the perfect length, the leather is soft and comfortable. Seriously, I wouldn't change a thing. I don't know when I'll buy another bag, maybe another 5 years. I still own every Sak bag I have ever purchased including 2 I bought almost 30 years ago that are both in fantastic shape. One of them is a crocheted bag I also carried for many years and still love. It's probably the only brand I will ever buy.

Love everything about this bag...just wanted to let others know that the bag interior (of the black) is not as pictured in the description. I was very disappointed to receive the bag to discover this. Zappos has great customer service and provided a return mailing label.

Best bag ever! So happy to find it in Black on Zappos. Already have a coral colored version. Not big, but the way the bag is constructed you can fit a lot more than you think. Also the elongated style allows you to find what you're looking for easily! No more digging down and around to find your keys, which cuts down on my swearing!!!

This bag is wonderful. The leather is soft and true to the color pictured. It has pockets for organization without being "just pockets". I am very pleased.

I love The Sak! I had my Sak handbag previous to this one for over a year, and it is still in great shape. Great quality for the price! The leather is really soft and doesn't wear out even with lots of use and abuse (I drag my purse everywhere and throw it on the floor all the time). This hobo is the perfect size for carrying necessities.

I like this bag. Got it for summer use. Zips open with a good view of stuff inside. Interior fabric is bright for seeing things inside. The outside zipper pocket is handy for a flat cell phone.

Great bag! I had it in white silver metallic, and wanted the same bag in winter colors. Ordered dark brown milti version and love it. It is the perfect size and weight and my IPhone in big case fits in the zipper pocket on the outside. Keys clip into end pocket. Very convenient styling for phone, keys, and sunglasses in outside pockets.

This is the third color I have bought in The Sak Kendra Hobo. Obviously this style works perfectly for me. Not too big and not too small. Just the right amount of pockets and so well made!

This is a lovely purse. I have purchased three in different colors over the years.It is lightweight but has plenty of pockets and zip storage for a purse this size. I like that I can put my keys in the end pockets, my phone in the other. It also has a zip pocket on one side so that yu can carry your credit cards in a metal case for easy access. This time I decided to buy the Sak Kendra Satchel so that I would have room to carry my IPad instead of carrying another backpack for it.

Soft roomy leather bag. Long top zipper makes it easy to get in to the main compartment. Small outside zipper compartment holds my cell phone. Adjustable strap to make crossbody would have been nice.

I just bought one of these and the poor thing is coming apart in the seams. I love the pocketbook but hate that is coming apart and I have only had it a month today. Love the color and feel.

I've had this purse for a few months now and I probably should have sent it back right away. I really feel like the web pictures make it seem bigger than it is and more comfortable to carry. It does not stay on your shoulder and I usually have to carry it in my hand or arm which was not the intent and quite annoying.

Very disappointed! I've purchased and liked Sak bags for years, but the leather is stiffer than expected and the strap shorter. The photo looks like the purse would hit at the waist, but it came just under the arm. I regretfully had to send it back.

I bought a hobo style - I really like the purse, but the zipper is really cheap and it kept on spreading open. I had to take it to a shoemaker to have a new slide put in which cost 12.00 and some stitching done which was another 3.00. To have a new zipper put in would have been 45.00 - for the price you paid for the purse, they should put a much better zipper in it.

The strap is awkwardly long and I am 5'8". I didn't want to take it in to be shortened, as I wasn't thrilled about the pebbling of the leather either. It is indeed super soft, but I think pebbling looks cheap.

I love this bag, perfect size, perfect features with end pockets etc. Disappointed with the top zipper, seems to want to separate when any stress is put on it allowing the bag to open. Weak zipper.

I have had many The Sak purses in the past and was very happy with them. I bought this item in taupe and am not at all impressed! The stitching is coming out and fraying after only a few weeks of use. The leather needs to be cleaned every week and the purse looks like it has been used for several years instead of two months. Very unhappy to have paid the price for such poor quality!! I will be very leery of buying The Sak products in the future.

Too scrunchy. Zipper is hard to open and close -- I just really disliked this purse.

The brown snake multi colored purse is very low quality. The leather feels like plastic, the zipper is not smooth. I did see the black one in a store and it seemed much better quality. Love the size and how easy it is the get to your items inside.

This is the biggest consumer rip off for this price. The purse is so low-budget. I should have saved the money by buying from a local department store and getting a much better product. I am so tired of online retailers trying to pass off garbage as quality. Sure you can return it but there is another shipping fee to add to the delivery companies instead of towards your purchase! Do not buy! It is very cheap!
