These shoes are a life-saver! I am a diabetic with foot neuropathy and there is room for extra padding and my diabetic socks. No break-in period. Perfect!

I had foot surgery and have been having a lot of difficulty finding a comfortable shoe that does not look ugly. These shoes feel wonderful with my orthotics. I can go all day and my feet are quite happy. These shoes look reasonably nice with pants. They don't make my feet look like boats. I just bought two more pairs in different colors.

I have had many pairs of Drew shoes and I wanted a casual black shoe. This one is great. It is not quite as supportive as the regular athletic shoe but still a good walking and work shoe.

Very comfortable. I am a diabetic. Shoes are cushion and has support. I read the reviews and tried my luck. Glad I did. The shoes cost more than what I wanted to spend, however, no regrets.

I love these shoes. They didn't need any breaking in time. They are light weight so they don't make my feet tired. I did remove the 2nd sole as I needed the extra depth for my toes. Also I have flat feet so the moderate arch works very well for me.

My favorite shoe! Ordered a half size smaller than the Drew athletic shoes I had been wearing. Wear a thinner sock than before, shoe more dressy and lighter weight. Love them! Plenty of room for my orthodic.

I love this shoe. I ordered a 7 1/2 EE instead of the 8 EE I wear in the Drew Motion. I wear thinner socks with this. It is comfortable, lightweight and not as klunky as the Motion. Feels more dressy.

I love these shoes. They are my "go to" shoes when I am going to be doing a lot of walking or just being on my feet and I don't want to wear athletic shoes. I have very wide feet AND need a lot of arch support. These fit the bill for both width and support. I have two pairs, I wear the black ones when working around the house and yard, and the copper brown which goes well with almost any jeans or slacks to the office or shopping. They come with 2 inserts allowing you to customize the fit. I use both inserts.

This shoe "worked" for my problem feet (bunions and hammer toes on both feet).I need the wide width for my toes. I have narrow heels, and the wide width of the Tulip model does not slip too much. I will be wearing the shoe with socks, and can take up any extra heel room with a thicker pair of socks. The shoes are not horribly unattractive (so 4 stars but looks are not what I was going for), and they are comfortable (more cushioning for the balls of my feet would be an improvement in the Tulip). I will wear the shoes with corduroys and work slacks when I want/need to wear something other than sneakers. I have needed to retie the laces as they don't stay tied.

I apparently got a different pair of shoes than everyone else is reviewing as I thought these were terrible. They ran small and narrow, very stiff in the back of the heel, not much arch support. Expected far more from shoes that cost this much. Returned them immediately.

Okay, this is a beautiful, well made shoe. If I wasn't leaving home for the summer, in 10 days, I would go through the effort of exchanging the wide width (which I thought I needed for my bunions) for the medium width. Alas, do not have time tome the exchange. I found that there was good width in the toe box but was too big around the arch.

Fit was perfect!.. i am an artist/instructor. I am in my studio for many long hours at a time... many times on my feet all day. I have searched and searched to find the support that i needed... I took these shoes out of the box... put them on my feet.. and left them on allllllll day!!! That's the best advertisement that i can say!!!!!. I forgot that i was wearing new shoes!... i would TOTALLY recommend that you try them!!!!

I was so happy to find these shoes. My feet have collapsed, and I have both steel plates and custom orthotics that need to go into a shoe. The Drew shoes have been a lifesaver. While I would love to wear a more stylish shoe, I have received compliments from strangers on the patent Tulip. My one quibble is that they are heavy, but I suspect that comes with the territory.

This shoe felt like heaven on my feet. Because I have a new AFO, I guessed wrong on the shoe size. It will fit a lot better a half size larger and not in a wide. It is extremely supportive with lots of padding. The neck around the top of the shoe stretches making the shoe fit extremely well. A lot shinier than I was expecting.

I need to wear sneakers at work due to foot problems, and I like this one because it doesn't look like a sneaker but it feels like one. It can pass in a business environment.

AWESOME--STUPENDOUS---WONDERFUL--DEVINE-- All these words come to mind in my attempt to describe this shoe. Great quality and craftsmanship... a perfect fit and an assured level of comfort that will have you walking on cloud-9! Must include one minor criticism however, and that is I wish there was just a smidge more cushioning with the insole. Other than that... buy this shoe and when you slip it on remember that "I told you so"!

I like the shoe; it is true to size, attractive and comfortable. I did not need the arch support because I use orthotics . I use only one of the inserts, or else the shoe is too tight with my orthotics.

These are the best shoes you can wear for work when you have to walk on city streets. If you have problem feet and are walking all day, wear running shoes or hiking boots and don't expect the impossible from these shoes, which are a supportive but dressier shoe. I am buying my third pair and have been wearing them for as many years. They are a godsend for multiple issues and you can lace them well in the back, although a normal heel with width in the front will still need heel huggers.

Surprisingly, not a lot of arch support. When I swapped the innersole with my orthotic, it made the heel area too shallow and my heel slipped.

I have neuropathy and thought this would help with my feet; unfortunately my toes were rubbed and the bottom of my feet hurt. I didn't return them because I already wore them. We should be able to wear them outside to see if they fit properly, and then return them if needed.

They look so much like plastic, I did not even try them on. They might be comfortable but the look totally disappointed me.

I have flat feet and needed a shoe with good support that would work well with my orthotics. These shoes really fit the bill. The are as comfortable as a leather sneaker but look a little better around the office with slacks. I will be buying another pair.
