Comfortable hiking shoe. Used immediately and did not require breaking in. Light too.

I’m a woman who wears orthotics and has large feet. I had ordered these hiking boots in size 11 and 11 1/2 because in my experience hiking boots can run short and the orthotics can change the way things fit. I was very pleased with the quality of these boots and the 11 fit good, no slipping in the heel and room in the toe box. My only concern is the tongue that rides high. I’ll be wearing them around the house to make sure this won’t irritate.

These shoes are fantastic but they are not a good choice for my feet. They were too tight around the top of the foot even with the laces pulled completely loose, but about half an inch too long in the back. So the front of my foot was held, vise-like, while the heel slipped up and down, rubbing terribly. It is simply a mismatch in foot shape and shoe shape, though, and I was sorry they did not work because they are built like a tank! Definitely a very high quality shoe!

These shoes are awesome, period. I work in dirt, mud and rocks, play in snow, on trails, in creeks, whatever. I've tried several other brands - Solomon, Merrill, Keene, and they just don't hold up like Oboz. This is my 4th pair of this same shoe, and the soles have never separated and they have never sprung a leak. I wear these every day for the most part, and they last far longer than any other low hiking shoe I've worn. And I've been through a lot of them. I wear shoes until they fall apart, and every pair of these have outlasted me. I'm basically just changing tires for appearance when my wife gets tired of my worker look. My favorite things about these are the heavy duty toe rubber that never falls apart or separates, and the longevity of the waterproofing. Most "waterproof" shoes will not be that way for long. Oboz has me sold on this one.

a coworker tipped me off to this brand. these are the best hiking shoes I've ever owned. super comfortable, high quality construction, very firm and tough shoe. I wear them for hiking, biking and working in the woodshop. often just for errands/shopping also. maybe not the most stylish thing, but I live in seattle and people here always dress like they're about to go on a hike anyway. and with that, they're pretty decent in the rain. : ) would recommend with zero reservations.

Love these shoes! Not the most comfortable right out of the box, but with some break in time they’re awesome! Very sturdy shoe. Have worn them to work in the ER and they Look good with shorts, jeans or scrubs!

Nice comfortable shoe. Great lacing. A hair snug in width but should improve with wear.

These shoes feel like boots in the best possible sense. they are stiff and solid, just not as heavy as a hiking boot. nothing cheap here. the fit is a bit narrow, I'm hoping they stretch a little bit to allow for heavier socks. these are my first Oboz, and over all ,the best hiking shoes I've owned. I use them for hiking, urban walking, and working in the wood shop.

My second pair of Oboz and just as great as the first which I've had for about five years and which are now worn through in several spots. The new ones arrived on Thursday and I immediately went on moderately difficult four mile plus hike - rock hopping in the wash and wading through deep sand. They were ready to go right out of the box. Absolute comfort and support. They are not a fashion statement, but they keep my feet safe and dry and comfortable.

I love the shoes, just too small. I also ordered a size 11 Keen hiking shoe and it fit perfectly. Would need to order a full size larger (12) to be able to wear any socks with these. Sucks, because I planned to maybe keep both 9with these being waterproof) but will return the Oboz.

Ordered these for my husband; his third pair. He suffers from plantar fasciitis and these shoes are supportive without adding special insoles. He wears them so often that he needs to replace them about every six months. They are available in wide and some other Oboz styles aren't.

I’ve had the shoes a week. They seem to be good material overall. I have another pair of the fire red color hiking Firebrand 11 shoes. Great shoes!

I have been using Oboz for a few years now and they are the best of the best in hiking shoes. I tried Merrell, Keen, etc. . . These Oboz are high quality shoes. I wish they would still make the all leather outers like they had a few years ago.

These have the same great arch support that I get from all my Oboz boots. Its built very well, with solid construction throughout. The only issue I have noticed is that the tongue folds seem to irritate the top of my foot a bit. Maybe I am used to the feel of mids because this is my first low shoe by Oboz. On balance, I like it and would definitely buy it again.

Second pair, first pair last 2 years plus (still going) of heavy wear and tear. Just an awesome shoe I'm sure I will have a 3rd pair in the future.

I just received my 6th pair of Oboz footwear. Awesome, though much overused, is the appropriate word to describe your products. Bridger, Sawtooth and Firebrand- all excellent! They are by far the toughest and most comfortable boots made. Im a carpenter and wear them daily- for 5 years, before they show signs of wear. Got the Firebrands the day before 2 wks. of hiking in the Scottish Highlands. No problem. Also, after viewing the Black Folks Camp Too video; I have even more an appreciation for your company. (BTW, Im a white guy).

Just bought my 5th pair, speaks for itself. Shoe laces either need to be shorter or longer. They are too long to knit and too short to double knot.

I have lost count of how many Oboz I have owned. Almost all have been great. Mostly Bridgers. Still breaking these in entirely in city walking. Good insulation from pavement and good grip. Laces a bit bulky. Ask me again in three months.
