Thank you for the larger sizing. These are one of my favorite pairs of pants, and XCVI is my favorite brand of clothes. I wear a size 18, and I find that these clothes are casual, yet classic and versatile (can be dressed up), and that they just plain fit well. These pants are super flattering, and I've worn them to work and out on the town. The waist isn't elastic, but there is a tie where you can make the waist smaller. They do stretch a bit when you wear them. I got an XL, which fits me great. An XL in many brands is way, way too small -- so these run big, but I'm glad they run big. I'm 5'4" and they come down just a bit above my ankles, which is also nice. They're extremely light-weight, good for summer. I'm so happy they are now in Black...have been waiting to buy them. Anyhow, wore these all summer, would definitely recommend these pants and XCVI. I'm overweight (especially in my belly), but I also still enjoy looking nice in good clothes that make me feel confident, and XCVI seems to be able to make clothing that looks good on any size person. I got those in Charcoal, which is a bluish-gray that is lighter than the dark color featured here. The design of these pants makes them incredibly unique and flattering, plus they are very comfortable. They do run a bit large: I am usually 12 in pants, but in those the medium fit perfectly.

They are back! I bought these years ago at a department store and wore them till they were in shreds. They're so flattering if you have a pear shaped figure and are so comfortable. I am buying all three pairs and will probably buy more in black later in case they go on hiatus for 10 years again! Thank you XCVI.

These pants have got to be one if the most comfortable pairs I've gotten in a long time. Very flattering. I wear a 12-14 and got the size L. My only complaint is that there are no upper pockets. The pockets on the leg are more for show because if you put something in them like your cell phone, the pant leg looks funny.

What Happened??!?! I have LOVED these pants in the past. Owned at least 6 pair. They rip easily but I've learned to live with that. My latest pair purchased felt a little different but looked the same so I didn't give it a second thought. Well, they are unwearable. Something has happened to the fabric, something has changed and it has become a MAGNET for all dust, lint, pet hair etc. I was literally covered after the first wear. I washed and dried hoping whatever was on them to make them attract everything would break down. Instead it took the lint and pet hair off all my other clothes and dryer vent and put it on these pants. Below see a pic of the pair I am currently wearing. I bought them over a year ago. The 2nd pic is of my new pair. Worn once. Covered in crap by the end of the day. Then washed once. Worse. I cannot get the lint off even with a tape roller. They are a bust. I'm afraid to order another pair. Whatever you have done please change it back. I can't imagine I'm the only one experiencing this. Most people have pets!

The color 'sand dollar' and the appearance on screen made me think it was going to be a cream color or a light tan or beige. Its actually a washed greenish color.

Excellent fit. I am pear shaped, 5 ft 4 inches, and 155 pounds. The medium fit perfectly, even though my bottom half is a solid size 12. These pants truly are oversized, so order 1 size down in confidence. The style is so flattering that I believe they make my hips and bottom look 10 years younger!

I have become fond of XCVI since early 2009, and own over dozen of pants, skirts and shirts. This my favorite of all. It is stylish, comfortable and fun. Goes with almost any colors, and can dress up or down.

To say I love this brand is a understatement. I have over 20 pairs hanging in my closet. They are so versatile, you can dress them up or down and they are so comfortable with the drawstring waist. The green slate is a nice color that can transition well through the seasons. Thank you Zappos for your great service!

Very comfortable. Fun and funky. They need some ironing around the side pockets. Personally I am not a huge draw-string waist person, but I just tuck the strings inside. I have a more curvy figure, as reference.

Love these pants! Love everything XCVI actually. They do run large, all seemingly. I'm probably a 10/12 and Med. is ample. Super comfy and flattering and can be casual or dressed up with heels and fancy top. Love!

I love XCVI and ordered these pants in a large. I usually wear a 10 so I ordered the large and they were too big! I returned for the medium and am waiting for them to arrive! I have other XCVI items that I am in love with! Great brand!

So cute, so comfy but huge. I am 5'7 and 130 lbs and the small was literally falling off of me. Am returning for the XS.

I liked these, but I kinda sit on the fence, so for the price, pricey, decided no. The cotton is so thin, that I feel it will pop, break after several washes. They are not rayon as advertised. Also, they are lovely in style, but I don't think this is necessarily a classic look, always in, perhaps trendy, or unique. And, I am not sure if this is what I am going for. But I do like them, lovely styling, details, and great to cover legs from the sun, but so light, that I don't think you would be hot at all. Just not sure if for me. Loved the grey color, beautiful.

Love, love, love these! They are so cute and flattering! I usually wear a 6 or 8, and the small fits great. I think these look adorable with flip flops, ballet flats, heels, and wedges. A must have.

The fabric is great, light and comfortable. The style is fun. The sizes are way off. Go one or two sizes smaller than you generally wear though, this company seems to be inconsistent in sizes, because sometimes they fit.

So stylish and comfortable. I have both colors and get compliments every time I wear them. Lightweight, great for desert climates. Wish there were more colors. True to size.

These pants are awesome for summer and for travel. They are super comfy, yet stylish. Warning: they run big. The XS is not XS at all. Thanks to other reviewers' warnings, I purchased an XS, even though I usually wear size 4. The XS fits.

I am really happy with my gaucho crop. They are so comfortable, and you can dress them up or down. They stretch out a lot, so definitely order the next size down. I'm usually a size 6, so I ordered the small size. However, after I walked around the house in them, they stretched significantly. Therefore, I exchanged them for an XS. I would highly recommend these crops! They are so cute.

These pants are light and amazing. I live in AZ where it gets pretty hot, these look great. Every time I wear them someone comments on them. Great buy!
