Great shoes! I usually wear a size 9 in the gym rentals, a woman's street shoe size of 9-9.5, and I didn't want my shoes to be super tight. I had originally ordered the La Sportiva Scorpion in a 41.5 from another site, and they were way too small! So, I returned those and ordered these Tarantulas in a 42.5 and they were too big. I returned them for a 41 and they fit perfect! I know they say that your climbing shoes should to be tight, but I'm still a beginner and wanted a little wiggle room. The toe box is a little big, but they are men's shoes and it doesn't bother me when I'm climbing.

These shoes are very comfortable as far as climbing shoes go. I had problems with my previous climbing shoes slipping off in a heel hook but these have a great-fitting heel. The velcro straps can be tightened to give a lot of all around compression in your feet.
