I live in an area where it rains often. I decided that I should invest in a good pair of rain boots. I searched for awhile but couldn't seem to find a boot that convinced me. Finally, I found these and decided to give them a try. I bought these boots in a size 6 in the color green. I wasn't sure what to expect (sometimes products look good online but disappoint when you see them in person); however, these boots look great. I received compliments the first day I wore them. The high quality is noticeable. They don't stink of rubber or chemicals and the material is very soft to the touch. They are also comfortable to wear. The fit isn't awkward in any way and the height of the shaft is ideal. I never thought I would find the the right pair of rain boots. I love them so much that I actually went out of my way to write this review (which is a first). I am very happy with this purchase.

Great boot. I actually purchased both these and a pair of Hunter rain boots to see if all the hype about the Hunter boots was worth the extra money. These boots fit and looked better and were very stylish too! Great buy. I highly recommend these over Hunter boots any day!

These boots are great for rain and fabulous for snow. No leaking and they kept my feet warm on long walks in ankle-deep snow, even just wearing tights. I have 16 inch calves and they fit perfectly; I don't think anyone with larger calves will be comfortable in these as rubber doesn't stretch.

These are so tight on the calf. I bought these, in gray, and a pair of Hunters, in a gorgeous dark purple, so that I could wear them in rain and snow. I also bought the Hunter fleece socks. There is a difference in that the Hunter's feel more rubbery, but I actually liked the way the kamiks looked better, since they were sleeker, and they did not have an obnoxious Hunter stamp on them. The Hunter also cost almost double. If they had fit on my calfs, I would have kept the Kamiks. As it is, neither really do. The Hunters fit better, but I cannot even about socks. So they are both going back.

Love these boots! I've had the hardest time finding just the 'right' pair of rain boots because I'm so picky probably. They were either too chunky looking, too short, too wild, or too glossy for my taste. These boots have great classy styling, and I love the fact that its functional and fashionable. "I" wear the boots, the boots don't wear me. I also really like the green color...can go with a lot of my outfits. I normally wear a 7 1/2, but I usually go up a size in boots and tennis shoes to accommodate my custom orthotic insoles. The size 8 works perfect, leaving enough room for my orthotics, and thick socks. I've tried it on with both leggings, straight leg jeans, and the thick socks, and have no problem slipping this boot on. My pants don't bunch up. My calf size is 14 1/2 though, so I could see a potential problem for gals with more athletic calves. My favorite part, the quality looks much more expensive than the price tag!

I love these boots! I was worried because many of the reviews said it was tight at the calf and I’ve got pretty big legs(I’m 5’0” 187lbs) I went up to an 8 usually wear a 7 to give myself room for a thick sock. It gives sizing details and I measured by calf, as you can see I have room. They fit great with whatever sock I wear, they even fit with my skinny jeans. I do have to give them a slight tug usually I slightly step on my heel and slide my foot out.

These boots are EXACTLY what I was looking for and they fit perfectly based on the sizing recommendations. I volunteer walking dogs at my Humane Society and I need rain boots to get me through the rainy cold winter. These are absolutely perfect - I walked 26 dogs in the rain and mud yesterday and my feet were dry and I just hosed off the boots!

Great for small calves and ankles! I have been looking for rain boots that don't feel like I'm lugging something heavy around on my feet. Every year, I order the Hunters, then have to return them because they just don't fit me properly. These boots are sleek and stylish. They feel and look like a high quality boot. I got tons of compliments when I wore them. They are very comfortable, as I was able to wear them all day at work with no problems. I mark 4 stars for style only because the strap around the calf is useless. It is merely for decoration and slips out if you try to tighten it. The calf is just the right size and perfect for tight jeans, or even my flares that tucked in perfectly. I highly recommend these! Great price for perfection!

Well, unfortunately, this boot is not for me. They look very cool, but it was a bit too tight around the calf. (I am 5' 6", 174lbs., and my calves are somewhat muscular, at about 14.5-15" in circumference). The boot was very, very snug over just a thin (think leggings) knee-high sock, so I knew there would be no chance it would fit over regular or skinny jeans. I was not too fond of the matte finish either. I could tell it would scuff easily. Not a huge problem, but not exactly what I want. If it would have fit better, the finish would not have been a deal-breaker. I have to agree with the other person who said they couldn't remove this boot without breaking a sweat! Me too! I was laughing about this, as I called to my husband to help me get the boot off! It was hilarious but rather uncomfortable. Other than all this, I can say the boot WAS comfortable, but that doesn't do me a lot of good when I cannot wear them due to the very ill fit all around. Sorry. No can do. I guess I will have to go for the spendy other ones. :(

After reading the great reviews and not wanting to spend the money for Hunter boots, I took a chance on these Kamiks. I've only worn them a couple times, but they're very comfortable and keep me dry! I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, and got these in a 9. I have slightly wide feet and larger calves, but had no problem with these boots. It is a bit difficult to take them off and there is some suction after walking around in them, but that's my only complaint!

So, I can't actually comment on fit or comfort because I couldn't even get my foot into the boot. The calf was WAY too tight. My husband has a little muscular calfs but skinny legs. We are the same size on foot size. He was able to get his foot in but we couldn't get them off and had to have me pull it off!! And that was WITH the buckle for it undone. Disappointed since these really do look beautiful. I even ordered a half size up just in case and still didn't fit.

I love these wellies! After getting a pair of awesome Kamik snow boots (Damsel) I decided to look at their wellies. I actually had a pair of Hunter boots but they were so heavy they hurt my knees to wear them. When comparing the two online, I saw that these were actually a pound lighter! Not only are they lighter than the Hunters, but they are a lot less expensive, and not everyone owns them. I also like the material better and that the company logo is classier and on the side of the wellies. They are extremely comfortable and light -- highly recommended! I wear size 8 in flats, 8.5 in running shoe, and got these in size 9 (but wear them with my custom arch supports).

I'm about 5' 2" and 100 lbs with skinny-to-somewhat-defined calves. These boots fit pretty much perfectly and I love how they look...except they're so tall that bending at the knee can become a bit uncomfortable (e.g. if I want to take the stairs two at a time). There's just enough room for skinny jeans, although they might not work with thicker pants or multiple layers. They're also kind of heavy / bulky / awkward, but I don't mind the weight that much. My shoe size is usually between 7-7.5 (leaning toward 7) and I thought these fit quite well. Only trouble is that there's sometimes a bit of rubbing in the heel / ankle area, possibly because these boots are heavy enough to be dragged down by their own weight. I think there are two solutions to this: either facilitate the movement of the boot (i.e. reduce friction by wearing thinner, slipperier socks and walk with looser ankles) or try to make them fit exactly / tight on your foot (i.e. add padding and maybe walk with stiffer ankles). As attractive as Jennifers are, I think it might've been more practical to stick with the usual Kamiks, which are shorter, lighter, and cheaper. My shorter Kamiks are crazy comfortable; I can walk for miles in 'em . These boots? Maybe 1 mile, 2 at the most (and I think that's really pushing it). In my opinion, the only reason to choose these are if you live somewhere with a ton of snow or rain (think: blizzards or floods).

I bought this boots hoping I could use them to walk a little over a mile to a metro station. I wore them twice in the two weeks I've had them. At first the inside of them was comfortable, but slightly odd (puffy)? The shaft of the boot is narrow as other reviewers have mentioned. My calves fit with no extra room. Trying them out around the house though wearing them seemed to be fine. On the second day of wearing them the back of the heel part collapsed in both of the boots. They also managed to get scuffed on the inside of only one boot. Not sure when that happened. These looked really good, but ultimately won't be working out for me. I'm really disappointed that a shoe wouldn't last me more than two days of wear.

Bought as a christmas and she loves them! She finds them comfortable and receives lots of compliments on the style and color(mustard). Perfect boots for our New England climate.

I was so indecisive about rain boots! I looked all over Zappos as well as other stores to find the ones that were just right. I finally narrowed it down to this pair and a Tretorn pair and decided to go with this pair because I just loved the style. They shipped so fast and I absolutely love them. So happy I decided on these. I have thin/average calves and with jeans they are perfect. Not too tight and not too big. As far as size goes, I marked that they are true to size because most people know that you should order a half size smaller when it comes to rain boots. I think that's how all rain boots are and I knew that ahead of time. Also, the foot area is roomy enough to wear thick socks if I want to but it's not necessary. I love the little emblem on the side too, it makes them look stylish and classy. You really can't go wrong with these!

Wearing these boots today on a rainy day in NYC and loving them! Very comfortable and cute. Only thing I would note is that it is a bit large in the calf.

I just got my pair in dark brown and they look very stylish and classy. They are very long though. I'm short so the come right below the knee. if you don't have thick or muscular calves, the KAMIK JENNIFER is not for you. I'm very skinny and they look huge on me. My shoe size is 8.5 so I ordered a 9. With socks they feel alright..there still is extra room. But even with jeans on, i can still fit my arm in the boot. I know rain boot are not meant to be that snug, but these are still pretty big. However the material is great and the boot itself seems really sturdy. You can return or exchange them, you can even find some sites that pay for return shipping. I'm going to exchange mine for and 8, if that doesn't work out than that is that. God, I wish I had thicker legs. :( They look and feel nice.

I got these for my mother for Christmas and she has loved them and constantly raves about them. When I got them for her and opened the box I was impressed with the quality for the price! 10/10 would recommend to someone wanting to stay within a budget but not compromise quality or style.

These boots are simply amazing! I slipped my feet into them & there is enough width, toe room & space around the calf, that if I choose to wear a thicker sock or wish to tuck my jeans into my boots, I can; but they are a good enough fit that they're not too loose if weather only calls for wearing a light sock! They are well-made & sealed so no water or moisture is going to get in. The sole is rugged to prevent slipping, & these boots are easy enough to pull on & to remove. They are very comfortable for walking, or working + driving in! I love them! The only surprise was the color - they are not the true blue as shown in the picture; they are more of a periwinkle or purple color. But, it's a pretty color & unique, so I'm happily keeping these! As always, Kamik has made another excellent & quality product! Thank you!

These boots are great! I wore them recently on a trip to Paris when it was very cold and rainy. Not only did they keep my feet dry, but they also kept them warmer than other rainboots I've owned. The green is also prettier than it appears in the pictures. Less army green, more emerald green.

These boots are fantastic! I live in one of the snowiest cities in the U.S. and have a hard time staying dry in the winter. Previous rain boots always got ruined. These have been incredibly durable and comfortable. They are also stylish considering they are rain boots. You can dress these up. I find them to be so comfortable that I can wear them all day at work and my feet don't hurt. Overall these are great boots for all occasions and all types of weather.

Love these boots. They were exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. Stylish but practical, they come up just below the knee and are not too bulky around the calf. Very comfortable with a thicker sock and good for all-day wear. I got these for a trip to Alaska - wanted to keep my feet warm and dry and still look cute in the photos. They were perfect!

I usually wear a size 6 to 6 1/2 and when i received the 6 it was pretty snug-too tight to wear thicker socks or tuck my jeans into. I exchanged them for a 7 (which Zappos is wonderful and I had them in my hands the next morning) and they feel much better a lot more room everywhere. I'm still a little nervous about getting my work pants and/or skinny jeans into them. I'm 5'4, 116 lbs so I didn't think I had a big calf, but rain boots are starting to make me think I do. Hopefully I can fit my pants into them so I can wear them in the rain tomorrow!
