The quality of this shoe is unquestionable. It's intelligently constructed and designed providing the most comfortable and stable approach/hiker shoe I've ever worn. Fit is spot on, the toe box is accommodating (for a size 13) and arch support is perfect. And did I mention stylish?

I like these a lot. Great approach shoe for bouldering or light hiking. I wear them in drier conditions as they are water resistant, not waterproof. Very comfortable out of the box and I did not have any seam issues (as another reviewer noted) or size issues with this shoe. I measure an 11D and the size 11 fit me great with light/med wool hiking socks. Lacing is well thought out, allowing a snug fit needed for this class of shoe. The materials used are high quality. Trying to find something I don't like about them, but really can't find anything.

Great shoe, extremely comfortable right out of the box. No problems breaking them in, they have a lot of traction and are nice and light. They do not breathe very well though, so your feet will get hot over extensive use.

Love Garmont, but the left shoe has a seam inside that kills me! I tried 2 different pairs and they were exactly the same. I really wanted these shoes!

I had the same problem with the comfort. Everything is perfect about these shoes but there was something in the closure that just killed after a period of time.

I've had these shoes for 20 months and were worn nearly every day at work and often on recreation days. Today the sole delaminated and it broke my heart. They performed through mud and rain. From high angle rigging jobs to fabricating steel structures in the weld shop. They saw hard, hard use and lasted far beyond my expectations.

I wear a 14. True to size. Tough and sturdy on rocks. Great traction. Heel took a few days to break in for me to avoid hot spots. Love them.

Great shoe, very comfortable out of the box. I had a pair of sticky beast and the material did not hold up like the lizard. Garmont is in the process of being taken over by a larger corp. I hope the quality is the same

First pair of Garmonts for me. Was looking for a good approach and general wear around shoe. Usually buy Scarpa but didn't like this year's selection. That said, great shoe. I have high arches and prefer a little more room in the toe box. Very secure fit and have enjoyed it while hiking. Pretty cool looking too.

Really love these shoes, had the about a month and they feel great, I work all day on hard floors. Last pair of Garmont shoes I had lasted over a year of heavy use, worth the investment.

I bought these for my husband to wear to work. He's on his feet on a cement floor all day for work and likes to wear hiking shoes. These shoes have been great. They run a little narrow which works great for his feet. So far he's had these shoes for two months and loves them. They are comfortable and seem really durable. They look really great too. They run a little small. He usually wears a size 10 and every once in a while needs a 10 1/2. The 10 1/2 fit best in this shoe.

Very sticky soles. Cold weather will be the true test though. Lace system provides superior customization in tightness of fit and sock thickness accommodation. Sizing is spot on and have had no new shoe rub points. I have D/E width feet and these are very comfortable
