It's my first time to order new Keen work boots. Now, I can't do without them, because I work for U.P.S. It's more comfortable and support my ankles need it.

I am a Police Office in a Major Metropolitan and I had been looking for a pair of boots that would hold up to the challenges that I face while at work. These boots have more than satisfied that need! They are ultra comfortable and run true to size. The first day I wore them I received tons of complement form my fellow officers on the styling. I will be purchasing multiple pairs! Thanks Keen!

See other reviews as I did and become a believer. Commercial kitchen 15hour shifts and feetfeel amazing at the end of the day. Lightweight. Right out of the box comfort. My feet run a lil wide and the regular width was a perfect fit. Only gripe is the lacing system which can be tough to tighten but its a minor gripe for the comfort these boots offer.Oh and the timberlands made for the kitchen were not only uncomfortableby hour six but the anti slip sole was a joke. These Keens im sure footed on a greasy tile kitchen floor. Ive heard the soles dont last. Time will tell.

I am a cop in a large mid west city....have been for years now. I wish I cold have found these boots a long time ago. The boots appear like they would be heavy but they weigh about as much as a Bates 5 or 6 inch boot. They look great and feel great. Water proof is a must here especially when the snow starts to melt and it gets all slushy and muddy out and it appears these boots will do well. In the inner city people like to do dangerous things with electric boxes outside and in basements of duplexes and these boots have insulated soles, I will feel a little safer in those situations now. I am wondering if Keen is planning on making these for a while, either way I think I am going to buy one or two more pairs. They are a little pricey but I am willing to pay for quality.... Thumbs up to Keen, you have earned a new and continuing customer!

Another great looking and rugged boot from Keen. The rounded toe is a matter of taste, but I'm quite a fan of the look. Not everyone is walking around in these either, so it's quite unique. Oh, and they are extremely comfortable as well. I usually order this brand about a half size larger for a true fit.

Great boot! No need to break this one in. I wore it for a week of hiking in Zion and Bryce national park. They kept my feet dry until we hiked in the river at waist deep water. To my surprise the boot self bailed once we got to dry land!

I needed new work boots/shoes. I'm a meat cutter. Cool, damp working environment. I am also suffering from Plantar fasciitis. I must say, I am more then satisfied and happy with this Keen Utility Mid Soft Toe. I also must say that I have actually received compliments regarding their looks, (they actually compliant my shoes!,not my manly face/build!!! The heck with em!). Admittedly, the boot took some breaking in. Upon their arrival, I wore them for about 4 hours, at home. The next day at work, they didn't hurt, but they really felt like I was wearing something on my feet. Ya know, with shoes/boots, ya just kinda aren't even aware of them. You don't feel them, as your body is use to them. Well, these were there! I did feel them. This went on for two more days. Like I said, it wasn't painful, just an awareness that I had em on. BUT, after that short 'break-in', these guys feel GREAT!! Very comfortable. My feet haven't gotten cold wearing them. Haven't gotten hot, either. The Planter fasciitis...yea, I still got it. But, these boots are indeed helping. I haven't taken any pain relief (aspirin, ibuprofen) since I started wearing them. I would not hesitate recommending these boots/shoes. I am confident saying that I will more then likely buy these again when this pair needs replacing.

As a paramedic I am by no means gentle on boots. I have been looking for a comfortable and durable boot for a long time. These Keen boots are what I have been looking for. From snow, ice and water. Sand, dirt and grass. Concrete, pavement and wood. All those things can happen in 1 shift. These boots can handle it all with no problem. Even though they are not insulated they are pretty warm in the winter, even without thick socks. I have worn them for 20 hours straight and my feet are dry and comfortable. They run true to size and the regular width offers plenty of room in the toe box. I can't attest to the durability or breathability as of yet but so far I am very happy with this purchase and I will be getting another pair in the future. Well done Keen.

I am on my feet 8-9 hours a day at work. My work environment often has slippery floors and hours standing in one place. I have ordered three pairs so far. They last about 9 months of rugged wear. The only drawback to them is that they can't be re-soled. The shoes stay together, but the squishy sole eventually flattens. But 9 months is very good compared to other boots I've worn for work. Do yourself a favor: when the insoles wear out, get the Dr. Scholls work inserts. Between Keen's superior construction, and the squishy gel heel of the Dr. Scholl's inserts, my knees and back are happier.

My partner chose these as a work boot - he is a tile contractor which means lots of water, lots of sharp things and lots of balancing on his toes. He wears through boot toes before the soles. He loves them. "They feel like slippers, worked great during an ice storm, may be buying a case pack to last the rest of my life." He bought a half size up to accommodate thick socks.

I purchased these boots for my husband. Although he wasn't please with the look of them and said he would have never picked them out himself, he loves them. He says that they are extremely comfortable and a perfect fit. I got him a size 9 wide. He wears them 3-4, 12hr work shifts a week. He's on his feet the entire time and has yet to complain about hurting or tired feet. He says they have good grip and never worries about slipping at work.

Usually I get hiking boots to work in due to the fact their waterproof. This time I found a reasonably priced work boot that is waterproof as well in the Keen Utility Detroit soft toe. After 1 day on the job, they're amazing. My feet had no fatigue and felt like walking on air yet with plenty of support. I'd recommend to anyone. Great boot Keen and great service Zappos.

I work a delivery job and run up and down a serrated aluminum ramp for 14 hour days, a pair of tennis shoes lasts me a week, other boot last a couple months either slip and slide in wet conditions. KEEN answers all of my prayers comfort for long hours, last for about 6 months *a very long time in my line of work* I've never been happier and am on my 7th pair and would not think of ordering anything else.

I've traded in all my other boots for these and so far, I'm really happy. They are high-functioning boots that look good. Size 15 feels true to size.

I bought these shoes in both colors for my brother who fell from a roof and crushed his heel. He has a large orthotic and also needs the ankle support to keep his foot in alignment. His gait is much improved and by mid afternoon, he is no longer limping. They have been a life saver!

I work long shifts on construction sites and these boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I wore them for 12 hours the first day with no problems. No steel toe so they are light weight. My other work shoe is a Timberland Pro series with composite toe. They are not as comfortable as the Keens but some days I need a safety toe shoe. I am happy with the Timberland shoe as well.
I'd also recommend:
Timberland Pro series. Low cut for a safety toe shoe.

For me, this is the boot for the ages. I love the style and the support it gives me. Makes you feel like getting out on the move. My only slight complaint and this is a boot complaint in general is that the laces really get caught in the top hook. I envision me really wearing the laces down in that spot with everyday removal. Just ordered my second pair even though my first is only a few months old. This is only because I have a policy that when I find something really good, I always order two. I hope this stays in the line up.

Keen is a great brand of shoes! Sturdy, comfy, nice-looking. The higher tops than regular shoes are very supportive for me. Great price! So far the size has been right on-haven't needed to return any pairs.

Amazing fitting boot. Fit's exactly as marked. Breaks in extremely easy. These boots have me excited to hit the hiking trail or to conquer a long day at work. Very stylish and good looking. I love these boots. Only downside is they are now Hecho en Chino.

I bought these for my Dad who has had both feet severely broken in a car accident years ago, he's in his 80's and they are the only shoe he can wear and be pain free...says a lot for Keen having a supportive, comfortable boot! By the way Dad wears a 14 double EE and is six foot three, no pipsqueak and still going strong thanks to Keen boots!
