We have owned 5 Cuisinart coffee pots and it is the only coffee pot that makes coffee like we want it to taste, it is the only kind we will buy.

We have had different models and they are all exceptional.

After using the coffee maker for about a month, we are pleased with it. Coffee is good; the timer works well, it's easy to use. We've but one small quibble and that's the thermal carafe. It doesn't keep the coffee hot for a long period of time, say, over an hour. But, usually, the coffee is consumed before then. I highly recommend this unit.

I currently own the Cuisinart 10-Cup Coffeemaker and love it so much that I bought this one for my daughter. Zappos quickly responded to my order as usual and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Zappos for the wonderful product and service.

I've used my new coffeemaker for a week, and am very satisfied with it. The water gauge is easy to read, the controls are simple to use, and the thermal pot is a bonus. It keeps the coffee hot for a few hours without the scorched taste that comes from overheating. The only complaint I can think of is in the design of the carafe. If you have arthritis or dexterity issues, the top is not designed to be easy to take on and off. Also, the last 1/4 cup stays in the pot unless you remove the top. For the money, though, I think this is a keeper.

I bought this model to replace my previous Cuisinart model, now discontinued. The carafe on that one kept the coffee hot for hours, and it worked fine for years. Not so for this model. This disappointingly delivers only warm coffee after less than an hour. Performance was fine, but it stopped working after only 2 years, delivering a weak brew. I suspect not heating the water to proper temperature. Not worth the price. I would not buy again.

I would never buy this again without trying to find something better. From start to finish there are problems. It is difficult to get the water into the reservoir without spilling. The finished coffee is difficult to pour and spill easily. I just gave up and now take the lid completely off. The coffee is not very hot. We now use the 1-4 cup setting to make it hotter but it still is not as hot as our Krups used to make. 12 years or so ago Krups made a perfect coffee pot with thermos. It changed the style and the result was not so good. So when it went out, we decided to try the Cuisinart. I feel like I just threw money out the window.

This was not a good product. The lid around the carafe leaked, and as soon as the coffee is done brewing the machine shuts off leaving the coffee cold in 15-20 minutes.

Hard to fill and read #of cups as it's tall to look in to. Coffee does not stay hot, even first cup poured. Added filter is a joke, what for?

Great coffee maker. My wife and I bought this model to replace the exact same model. The first one lasted about 4 years being used at least once a day.

The Cuisinart 10-cup Thermal coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee and the thermal carafe gives you a great cup of coffee to the last drop every pot.

This is my 2nd of the same model coffee maker. I hate the taste of burned coffee so love the thermos approach. The 1st was about 5 years old and one of the tubes at the bottom sprung a little hole. Because of this, I researched other similar coffee makers and ended up deciding to stick with the one I liked. I also like the feature of special handling for fewer than 4 cups.

Bought this for my office. Had the one with the coffee grinder at home and was very happy with it. No heating pad I think, but that is alright as the thermos keeps the coffee relatively warm, which is better than having burnt coffee. Coffee hot and flavorful. Easy to use. Very pleased.

This is our 2nd Cuisinart DCC-1150BK 10-Cup Programmable Thermal Coffee maker we bought in the last 5 years. We love the opptions, when they worked. The down fall is the bottom of the pot scratches the heating pad and it rust in the matter of months, so then the coffee will not stay hot as long. Also, the latest problem is the spring under neith the filter basket brakes easily and then the coffee is not able to brew into the kraraft and the coffee spills over and get all over the counter and our floor. Time for a new one.

I do not recommend the Cuisinart 10-up Grind and Brew Thermal Coffee Maker (stainless steel). I have had this coffee maker in stainless steel for 6 years. I was very pleased with how it functioned and its appearance. Then, two problems occurred. (1) It began leaking water under the unit when making coffee. (2) The grinder basket's underneath bracket/screw came loose, so it would not fit correctly. I could no longer use the grinder function. I do not expect the coffee maker to fail after only 6 years. And, of course, Cuisinart customer service would not replace the unit. After reading other negative reviews on the current Cuisinart coffee makers, I bought a different brand that had outstanding reviews.

This coffee maker is great, it has practical features and makes a fine cup of coffee. The problem is the handle of the carafe. We have had 2 handles crack on us. In the course of normal use a few months after our initial purchase, the carafe fell onto a vinyl floor, the first time the handle cracked. The second time it it fell the handle of the replacement carafe broke loose from the carafe. The company stated that the replacement parts do not carry warranty unless purchased in a particular manner. The replacement carafes are expensive. This is a major drawback, I have never had this problem with any other brand of coffee maker. I will never again purchase or recommend a Cuisinart coffee maker.
