I bought these to fix a blistering problem in a pair of walking shoes. They did the job extremely well. The DMP Copper is fairly thick in the heel and intended to replace an existing insole. Instructions are provided to cut it to size and shape. A sturdy scissor does the job. It was easy to do.
If your shoe has no removable insole the DMP Copper may be too thick. Check the Superfeet site for their other models that are thinner. Then come back to order through Zappos for their outstanding service!
The foam really does conform to the foot. It made the shoes a lot more comfortable.

In Response to the guy who said these insoles were too thick - you can only use these if your shoes have removable insoles already. Even then, they might make your shoe fit a bit tighter. I'm right in between shoe sizes, so I bought the larger pair and tried them with these Superfeet in store to make sure they fit. I really really like these insoles, but depending on what shoe you wear them with, you might want to choose a half size larger shoe.

I have tried the superfeet everyday comfort and premium orange insoles. the orange was too stiff in the forefoot area for me and the arch was to high. the everyday comfort insoles were very comfortable BUT my feet would sweat after about 3 hrs. into the day. these copper insoles are the best of the lot. all the comfort of the everyday comfort insoles plus the added support and heal stability make this my insole of choice. I work at a factory and spend 10 hrs. a day on concrete floors. I recommend using these in shoes with added room in the toebox area preferably made on the sl-2 last which gives you extra toe depth. such as the NB 608v4 or v5 now. or work shoes and boots.

These were recommended by my physical therapist and work beautifully. I've lost my arches and in place of a true orthotic they are really helpful. Wear them in my tennies, hiking and barn boots.

My physical therapist told me to get these to help my arch support, unfortunately they were too thick to fit in any of my shoes.

Really like these insoles. Second pair I've had. I like that the heel has a cup and the molding over time to your feet is great. Gives me good support for my low arches.

I purchased the larger size because a review said they were narrow at the top. They were right they were narrow at the top and the larger size fit my shoe just right with a slight trim. But the arch is a little off with my foot.

Buy larger. I bought these to size 11, they stop 1/2 inch inch short of shoe's footbed. I am giving my rating of 5 as I know these are great from pervious order.

I am on my feet a lot at work. Mostly concrete floors. I wear good quality work boots every day as required by my job. For months my feet started to hurt terribly. So much so that I cringed when I would get out of my truck and put my body weight on them. I am 6' 300 lbs. they carry a lot of weight. I finally started looking for an orthotic that would really work. Something above the thin pads and jelly slabs available at the drug store. After two weeks of researching different brands and reading countless reviews of each, I settled on the copper superfeet. After the very first day, I realized significant relief. I have been using them now for about a month and my foot pain, ankle pain and even my knee discomfort has all but vanished completely. I would pay 5 times what is asked for these inserts. They are worth every penny!!! Be sure and pick the right one for you.

It's not clear from the manufacturer's charts just how Copper is different from Orange, or why a user should select one instead of the other.

Helped my plantar fasciitis pain. Soft memory foam cushioning + firm heel stabilizer works well for my foot pain and walking/standing for long periods. Also used them in my running shoes with success. Shoes need to be a bit roomier as the heel cup is a bit higher. They work in all of my sneakers with removable insoles. This is the third pair I’ve purchased over 2 years- they last a good amount of time.

I bought these Superfeet Copper insoles after my custom orthotics finally gave out after 10+ years. I have to say they are more comfortable than the custom ones they replaced. I put the 11.5-13 size into a new pair of size 12 Keen Austin shoes, and they were a perfect fit with no trimming needed. They are a little thick in the toe area, so they should be used in shoes with a fairly roomy toe box such as the Keens. Perfect combo!

These are working really well for me. I work long days on my feet (culinary work) and have fairly low arches. I'm wearing these inside of blundstones. I'd previously tried the superfeet greens, which were pretty unforgiving and had arches far too high for my feet. The coppers seems just right. A little bit of cushioning helps with comfort and soreness (though I wouldn't mind a touch more cushioning), while the support and structure cut down a lot on back pin and overall fatigue. These meet my needs better than several other insoles I've tried.

Excellent orthotics. I've used a number of different Superfeet insoles and these copper ones provide excellent support and stability. I have them in a New Balance tennis shoe and haven't had any issues with them being too thick for the shoe.

These are the best orthodic you can buy over the counter without a prescription. They work best with a shoe that is "shallow" like a slip on, mule, or a clog. The "purple" superfeet works better for shoes like hiking or tennis shoes.

Zappos and Superfeet - two top quality companies that I have come to trust. The Copper Superfeet have helped me feel stable in all of my shoes, particularly as I have grappled with plantar fasciitis. They are highly recommended.

Thanks (not!) for sending me a pair of used orthotics that had been worn by someone else and returned. Disgusting, and this shows how little regard you have for your return policy, which states the article must be unworn and in original condition. I hope you don't just take them back and resell them to someone else.

Good option for a flat foot like mine. It's too thick though for anything except boots and larger (ahtletic/running) sneakers. Won't work for casual or dress shoes at all.

I discovered these insoles about 8 months ago. THEY WORK GREAT! And are just the thing I have needed to replace worn out insoles that came with my Keen boots. They are also the ones recommended by Keen as replacements. I will not buy any other insole!

These are by far the best inserts a person could walk on bar-none! Wether standing in one spot or moving around my legs and knees have never felt better. Forget about foot pain, you put these in your work boots and your heels and toes will never bark again. You will never need anything else in your shoes again.

When I got plantar fasciitis, I put these in all my sneaker and shoes- even my gardening clogs. What a difference! I spend hours on my feet several days a week an these have kept the plantar fasciitis away. I especially need them in my work boots to keep heel pain away- because work boots are stiff, I was getting heel pain, not any more!

I'm 6', 310 lbs. I was searching for an insole to provide some relief from the chronic foot pain I had been experiencing. The pain had gotten so bad that I would cringe when getting out of my truck and putting weight on my feet. I like to do my research on products by comparing them to others and reading the reviews. I came across a review from a guy with the same build as myself and he swore by these copper insoles. I took a shot and invested in a pair. After four or five days I realized a significant reduction in foot pain. After two months, the pain had disappeared completely. I use these in my work boots. After using these insoles, I hardly tolerate any other pair of shoes I own. I wear my work boots almost everywhere and when I can't, I notice the difference within an hour or two. Cons- These insoles are on the pricey side and usually begin to lose their support over 6 months time. Plan on investing $150 a year to maintain the level of comfort they provide. In my opinion, it's the best $150 I spend all year!!! Also on the "con" side would be the overall thickness of the insole. It does take up some room in your shoe. If your shoe is leather, it will stretch to accomodate the insole after a week or so. Until then, your shoes will feel cramped. Overall, this product does what it says and is worth the price paid. Hope this helps in your decision making process.
