I tried on the women's size 8 and size 9 in these flips...Montrail Healer Flip. These flips run long. I normally wear a size 8.5 in sandals, but the size 8 in these flips is fine. (The size 9 leaves too much extra "shoe" beyond my toes.) I wore both sizes around the house...the size 8 just fits. At first I thought I could wear the size 9 as well, but after wearing it a bit in the house, I discovered it caused some foot pain as it's really too big (too long). This shoe needs to fit right because you want your heel to be held snugly. It has good arch support, and the footbed is more cushy than the superfeet footbed The piece that goes between your toes is soft enough for tender toes. It has good arch support...somewhere between moderate to high arch support.

This are not the prettiest flip-flops in the world. I it is neither dressy, classy, sexy, nor cute. But they have highly supportive arches, wide platforms that keeps my feet centered, and lots of cushioning. They are very comfortable.

I ordered the Montrail Healer Flip in women's size 9. (I usually wear a size 9 wide in women's athletic shoes.) This is a comfortable flip with good padding and support. It's good for a foot with medium to high arches. (I have high arches.) The straps accommodate my high instep nicely. The footbed is wide -- fits my wide foot. It runs a half-size larger than marked in length. If you order your true size in length, you will find you have a little extra toe room left over. Although I think this size 9 is best for me (my true size), I'm going to order the size 8 as well to be sure of the fit. The piece of material between my toes feels more comfortable than most flips. It's made from a flexible, soft, but strong material. This flip feels more comfortable than the flips made by Orthaheel. The footbed in this Montrail Healer Flip is gentler on the foot than the footbed on the Superfeet flip.

I bought these sandals because of the color but was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and supportive they are. I will be purchasing more of this brand in the future.

These are the best flip flops I've ever owned! I normally wear a 7.5 or 8. I ordered an 8 and they fit great, with a little extra toe room. My husband liked them so much he ordered them in brown. Zappos, as always, provided wonderful service!

I love this flip-flop! Shoe buying is a nightmare for me because I have wide feet with a bunion on one, and often times the strap of a flip-flop or sandal will cut right across the bunion. I guess I also have tall or thick feet, because I've tried several orthopedic flip-flops (Reebok, Orthoheel) where my foot didn't fit through the strap! Montrail is a great flip. It's snug enough that you don't have to scrunch up your toes to hang on to it while you're walking, but loose enough to be comfortable and cool. The arch support is great. The strap hits well below the bunion, and the footbed is ludicrously big, but that's better than too small. My family tells me it looks OK which is high praise! Highly recommended.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and high arches. I had high hopes for these shoes based on custumer reviews. They have a lot of arch support, but too much flexibility in the toe of the shoe for my plantar fasciitis. Sadly, they must go back.

I love these flip flops. I put them on as soon as I got them, and had them on all day. They are true to size. I wear a 8 and I got a 8. I have a wide foot and the bed of the foot is wide.

The montrail flip flops are a great relief to my feet. I have an acute case of plantar fasciitis. The flip flops are comfortable and are a nice rest from my athletic shoes. With constant arch support and ice my feet are beginning to heal. I would suggest these to any one with feet problems. Once again Zappos came through with the shoe that I need.

I hate to mark these down and it could be unique to me, but in case it isn't I wanted to let other people know my problem with these shoes were. I am actually heartbroken about it, I have nerve damage in both my heels (long story) and have gone through several operations for planter fasciitis. I need a lot of cushion with good high arch support. I have been wearing Othaheel for a few years now, but they have made their foot bed harder lately and now they cause me lot of pain. These Montrail seemed perfect! They even have more cushioning! Something I need so badly! I can only wear one type of tennis shoe because all others are just too hard on my heels once I put my orthotic in. (It's the Brooks Dyad.) I am also cursed with extra wide feet. Limiting the choices I have for the two pair of shoes I am trying to find. I was hoping these could be my around the house shoes. The problem I am having is that they attached the straps to the foot bed, and not in between the sole and the foot bed like Orthaheel does. Because the straps are attached on the foot bed, if you have a wide foot you actually wind up walking on the straps with the edge of you foot. Over time this becomes uncomfortable, and even painful. They have a padded strap, which is great, until it makes a thicker lump that you have to walk on. I know this shoe is not really made for wide feet and if you have a regular width foot you probably wont have this problem. They may even attach the strap like this to keep a more typical foot in place on they wide foot bed, since I am not blessed with one I can't say for sure. I also agree with what others have said before they do run a size big, and getting the right size is important for fitting your arch support correctly to your foot. Great comfortable shoe that you should order a size down more than likely, unless you have a really wide foot then you step on the straps that are attached to the foot bed, which can become painful over time.

OMG I love these; orthopedic flip-flops! (Although I confess, I got a last year's style at lower price on 6 p.m., a Zappos subsidiary). I have crappy feet, getting worse as I get older, and have even taken to wearing inserts in my sandals. These feel very comfortable for walking, standing. As other reviewers note, tend to be a little on the long side above the toes... but I actually like that fit, because it gives me more snowshoe-style traction in sand.

These are very confortable! I cannot find flip-flops that have cupped soles but these shoes do have that feature. I have worn only earth shoes but these shoes are just as good.

These are the most comfortable flip flops ever! Great arch support and heel cup -- finally something I can wear without foot fatigue. I will be buying more from this company! These do run large, though, so I ordered a size smaller than I normally would and they were perfect.

Wanted a flip flop that didn't look too dorky but offered more support than the average pair. This definitely fit the bill. So much arch support, I can wear them everywhere without ever having any foot pain! Love these!

Zappos service is amazing! The Lithia loop sandals are great for my feet. I have both plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis and both are helped by these. The most impressive though is the pleasant and very quick and amazing Zappos service which is so customer friendly! Thank you Zappos, you definitely have my business!

Has a wide foot base which provides stability and has a great foot bed with incredible arch support. A fantastic sandal for people who suffer from plantar fasciitis. I have a very high arch and the straps on these sandals do not cut into the top of my foot. I bought other styles and colors by Montrail. Finally a sandal that fits my foot!

These flip flops are very comfortable. The sole is soft and, dare I say it, cloud like. I like the color (I got the light blue ones), but I would have liked white or ivory ones better. The only thing I don't like about them is that the sole in the toe area is quite a bit wider and longer than my feet. Not clown shoes, but bigger than they need to be. Excellent arch support.

I have been wearing the Montrail Molokini for years and thought I would give this a try because I thought these would be a bit less bulky looking and the green is cute. I am really happy with the Lithia Loop. It isn't as squishy as the Molokini but it is really supportive. The arch is higher for sure. The straps are just as comfortable. Oh, I did send back my first pair and bought a size down which fit perfectly. I wear a 9.5 so I always round up to a 10 so this was different as I ended up with a 9.

I love these sandals. Since I have been having arch and neuroma problems, it has been almost impossible to find a comfortable sandal. These are the absolute best I have found. I wear them every day! They are a little wide, but that is supposed to be good for my feet. I usually wear a 7.5 to 8 in sandals and the 7 in these fits perfect.

Perfect! Felt wonderful right out of the box and I haven't taken them off yet, other than to sleep and shower. I marked them as narrow because my feet are narrow and there is no extra room.

I wear a woman's 9 in an open shoe, these have a tiny bit of extra toe length, but I would not say these run large. Awesome arch support and stability. That is fabulous to find in an open shoe of any style mush less a thong style, and yes these have a bit of style. I also ordered another thong from Montrail that molds to the foot and it is fab as well.

I have plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia, and I LOVE these flips! The Montrail Lithia Loop flip is the same as the "Montrail Healer Flip". It's very cushioned, and soothes my tender feet, when I'm not wearing my athletic shoes with custom orthotics. I have high arches, and these flips work ok for me. They also have a small metatarsal pad. I have a very high instep, and when you first try these on, they do accommodate a high instep, but don't worry if they feel a little snug, because as you wear them, your feet settle into them, and the straps become looser the longer you wear them. (But even brand new, they are comfortable enough for a high instep.) I measure a true size 8.5, but since these flips run a bit long, the 8 fits best. The 9 leaves a bit too much length beyond my toes. So I wear the 8's. I'm an underpronator or supinator, so I tend to walk on the outside of my feet. So my older pair of Montrail flips is worn on the outside of the heal. These flips have lasted very well for me. They are well constructed. But it's time for me to order new ones because your feet eventually sink into the cushy material after wearing them for a year...they just keep conforming to your feet. So I'm buying new pairs to regain the original support. I highly recommend these if you find that the other brands of flips are too hard and unyielding. I can't wear Superfeet for example because my feet are still too sensitive. Also, the piece that goes between your toes is fairly comfortable. I'm so glad Zappos still carries these! Please bring back the green women's pair as well, Zappos!
