Great shoes-wide enough for my clown feet, reasonably well-ventilated, and a good sticky that seems to be wearing well. A fantastic cycling shoe that doesn't require spending a lot of money.

Great shoe! Lightweight but strong. I like the ratcheting strap and the 46 medium fit me very well. I usually wear an 11 with a medium to wide foot. Great 1st experience with Zappos and I plan to buy from them again.

This mtb shoe replaced a pair of Mavic Razor mtb shoes. The Mavics were a very good pair, but this pair holds its own and has a good fit and feel. The price was very reasonable. The ratcheting strap works well, and the Velcro straps hold very well. I would not discount Shimano mtb shoes when looking for a new pair.

The M087G is a wonderful shoe with its three strap design. Even though it is more than the M077 it is worth it. The awesome lever strap makes fitment of the shoe precise. In addition, the bottom tread allows you to walk around on any surface making it a very versatile shoe on the road or on the trail. The styling is average. I think they could have improved the shoe by adding a little bit more mesh for breathability. If you are new to clipless pedals why settle for something cheap. Pick these shoes up and pair them with a M250 pedal and you will be good to go!

I purchased this for everyday exercise biking and touring, not mountain biking, as I wanted a shoe that I could walk in with SPD clips. The shoe is very attractive and comfortable. Caution: I am a true size 14, but needed size 51 (not size 50 as chart would indicate). Delivery time was faster than expected.

OK, mine is a special review. If you need a size 14 bike shoe, your options are limited. These work. That's all you need to know if you wear size 14!

I was so satisfied with my purchase, the shoes are really comfortable, good grip while I'm riding my bike, easy to walk with them, without been worry to scratch wood floors, I really highly recommend this shoes and of course the brand, which you can really trust. Five thumbs up! Also, this was my first purchase from Zappos, completely satisfied with the excellent service that I got from them, thanks and keep up the good work!

Awesome pair of shoes. Very roomy in toe box. Very true to size. The ratchet works wonders when you need that precise feel. This shoe paired with Zappos excellent service makes buying a breeze.

Great shoe and even better service. Ordered late afternoon West Coast time, on the door the next morning! Incredible. Oh yeah, the shoe is perfect too. Good fit, accurate information.

I love my new shoes. They were exactly as advertised and seem of high quality. Zappos selection and service are, as always, great, too. I did not buy the clips, I bought those locally and had them install them.

Great mountain biking shoe. I am fairly new to mountain biking and decided to get this shoe as per advice from experienced mountain bikers and it really has helped a lot with the efficiency and endurance of my ride

Nice roomy toe box (for my giant big toe), buckle for cinching down the instep tight, and a sturdy design. I also like the fact that the sole is somewhat curved, so it makes walking or hike-a-bike sections a lot easier. It seems like a lot of shoe for the money, and it fits, so I wear it.

I use MTB shoes and pedals with my road bike, but this shoe has stiff soles pretty much like regular road shoes, which is a good thing. The straps and latch allow you to set tightness just right, and there is still enough room in the toes to keep you comfortable on long rides. All in all, a pretty good MTB shoe for the money. Keep in mind that Shimano shoe sizes run a bit large, so it's a good idea to buy one EU size smaller than what you normally wear.

True to size. Too bad they don't offer 0.5 sizes. I'm 11.75 U.S. and could not make 46 or 47 work for me. Looks like a good shoe.

Returned a pair of these shoes in 46EE. The insoles of these shoes were a full 1/4 inch narrower than those in my Merrill 11.5 W shoes. These shoes may pass for wide in Japan or China, where they're made, but they're still skinny.

I was pleasantly surprised with these shoes. I ride a mountain bike and a road bike both with SPD pedals and use these shoes for both. I have a wide foot (EE) and, although these wide shoes aren't generous in width, they are adequate and comfortable. I haven't had a bike shoe yet that felt generously wide! I rode four days in a row with them immediately when I got them, 26 miles each day, and had no problems at all. You can walk in them fairly well. Not as well as some of the other sneaker type shoes, but way better than a road shoe. The heel feels lower than the sole when walking and the tread completely shield the cleat from contact with the walking surface.

This shoe fit perfectly! I have a size 12 foot with a broken metatarsal bone so width is important. Shoe feel great. Very happy!

So for me these were kind of hard to size. The scale on the site converting euro to US sizes seemed like it ran big. In other words, I needed small than I would have thought. That said, my left foot is noticeably bigger than my right so who knows. Also, my ASICS are 12.5 and my work boots are 13 so I guess I all over the map. But Zappos does the free shipping both ways so get a couple I pairs and return or trial and error this thing. As far as the feel goes they're really solid. The ratchet is worlds ahead of just hook and loop straps. You certainly don't get any slipping. Last thing, I don't think they look great, but if that's what's important to you why are you trying to clip in at all? These are great entry-level mountain biking shoes.

Bliss! A shoe that fit my wide front foot, super high arches and normal heel. I bought these as a replacement to a more "street" Shimano SPD shoe that finally gave up the ghost. I looked and tried cycling shoes for over a year before these. Each one said they were wider in the toe box - they definitely weren't. The ratching closure took a day to get used to, as it plus the tongue are very stiff, but I really do like how well I can fit the shoe where I need it now. I wear a 41 Euro - I originally ordered that size and my toes were crushed in it. The 42 Euro fits slightly large with summer weight socks, but allows for heavier wool socks for when the temps drop below freezing.

As a woman with big feet on the hunt for a cycling shoe that fits, I am having to resort to mens shoes. I wear a ladies street size 11, occasionally a 10. I ordered the 43 in this shoe, but my toes tap the end. If these were offered in half sizes, I would have a perfect fit. I have tried a woman's 44 in other Shimano brand cycling shoes and they are entirely too large. These are being returned, and I won't be hunting for Shimanos any longer.

Good bike shoes. I like the recessed space for my clips. However, the shoe is seems heavy.
