the sandals are very light however they are not durable, the toes are already very scuffed, the straps were changed from the style that I had returned (the soles fell off). I am satisfied because it appears that you are trying but I would not have spent my [$]on these if I had seen them in the store vs the website.

I wear my Toachi 2s to work on a daily basis. They are lightweight and very breathable. I have owned many pairs of Tevas for over 15 years and these are most comfortable ones I've worn. But best of all these sandals don't make the soles of my feet sweat like earlier styles, even on the hottest of days. I'm not crazy about the color choices and the slightly shiny appearance of the straps isn't my favorite, but these sandals are the best Tevas ever.

I was looking for a pair or wet sandals that had clasp-type straps, as velcro does not last as long, and everytime you put on a velcro strap you get a different fit. I wanted consistency. Very few sandals today offer clasp-type straps, so I'm glad to say, after going to several stores and looking for a few weeks, Teva is the only real solution today.
I had a pair of similar sandals by Ocean Pacific that lasted me 10 years. Here's hoping these Teva's last a long time as well. They are very light, almost feel like nothing is weighing my feet down, even when wet. So far, so good.

Your team was fine. I am so frustrated with the product. I owned a pair of Women's Toachi 1's that I loved. They delaminated after only one and one half years. I called and you said to send them back for a credit. If I had known that I would never have been able to find another pair, I would have kept the defective ones and tried to find someone who could glue them well. I couldn't retrieve them, after I sent them back and was told that you had now substituted Toachi 2's for the Toachi 1. I ordered the Toachi 2's, but they are an inferior hiking sandal by comparison. They feel and function more like a dress sandal. Walking around in the house with them for hours proved to be uncomfortable and fatiguing to my feet. Even though you guys improved the way the padding underlayer works (by dividing it and giving more room for adjustments), the Toachi 2's do not hold the foot as securely or offer the padding or the support that the Toachi 1's did for hiking and walking. I have ordered the Toachi 2's twice, since the first time they did not please me, then after two months of trying to find a replacement Women's size 9 and 1/2 Toachi 1 on the internet, I decided that I would try another pair of Toachi 2's and see if I could talk myself into them. I was reminded again as to why they do not work and sent those back too. All the internet shoe companies are out of the Toachi 1's or the one pair I found came with a defect (underlayer pulled to tight on one side and incongruencies in the length of strap from sole to plastic loop, so that the left plastic loop sits where lays uncomfortably against my slight bunion. Maybe companies like Zappo's and Sierra TRading Co. end up with the seconds from you. I wish in some way, you could find me a pair of Women's Toachi 1's in a 9 and 1/2 chocolate chip, without a defect in construction. For 12 years I wore the Terradactyls #1720, but the velcro wore out too much and the lack of soft padding under the straps chafs too much for long hikes. Also, I am now addicted to and love the clips at the ankle for easy in and out. It also prevents velcro burnout. In your world, can you find me a good pair of the Toachi 1's I love? Walked all over Disneyworld in these sandles this summer. I got wet and the sandles stood up to the weather and the all the walking. The sole has a good grip on the pavement even when slick from rain. Buy them!

I am a whitewater canoe guide in Colorado. I buy Tevas for use on the river. I've worn Tevas for 20 years now and my last pair lasted for a good 12-15 years until they finally smelled so bad I had to throw them out. I was super excited to find a new style last summer that had just toe protection without the entirely closed feel of Keens. I was super disappointed when the sole started falling off after three wearings. Teva replaced them with this new style (they don't have the original ones I bought anymore - last year's style and with obvious problems), but I am not a fan. Wish I had the cute, comfortable shoes with the toe protection and a sole that stays on.

Comfortable sandal which stays on your foot while doing moderate to heavy activities. Stability while walking a heavy gravel beach, I wear them gardening all the time. Nice feel to the arch. I wear an 11 in athelic shoes, should order 10.5 for these sandals

once the straps are adjusted I leave the adjustment alone and just snap them on. I they are alittle tight when I first put them on, in a few minutes they will be right where i like them to fit every time.

My ONLY problem, is when I run/hike occassionally I will get very little rocks stuck around the heel 'shoc pad' and have to stop to scrape them out. My other old pair, I basically wore out, from running in the desert...luv them!

I have skin problems and cannot wear regular shoes any more. This is the fourth pair of Teva sandals I have purchased and they are the most comfortable and easiest to walk with of all four pairs.

I searched for this shoe because of the snap. It has the Velcro to allow you to adjust it, but once adjusted you use the snap and it fells the same every time. I hate Velcro as the main fastener, the ends curl and it never feels the same.
I use for ever day wear and any time I am not dressed up. But it seems a little pricey for a sandal, but I will see how it wears. My last pair of sandals were about half this price and lasted 5 years.

Once again, I feel as though I am not wearing anything on my feet. I wear them constantly, and just love them.

The shoes were not true to size. I ordered these for my husband and he is very disappointed. This is my 3rd pair of Teva's and I have enjoyed all 3 pairs but the sizing was true to size. It seems the sizing in the men's shoes do not run the same. My husband reports they are very uncomfortable and can only where them if he covers his feet with bandages for protection. I am very disappointed.

I was expecting the same comfort of the leather (similar style - wider straps) ones I have and love - wish all the soles and cushion of this style of sandle were consistent.
I like comfort with cushion but openness. but also want support!!! the sraps on this style did not give much support to my foot......

The sole of the shoe feels very nice under foot. However, the strap that holds the front of the sandal to your foot has a ring that sits on top of the knuckle on my big toe. It digs in without mercy, even when the strap is very loose. I'm sending mine back.

i got these as a return and though the ones I returned had the soles fall off these are not as nice as the prior years tochi's that I sent back...If I had seen them at a store vs on line, I would not have bought them. the return process was painfully long otherwise I would have returned these again but Im kinda livin with em since I really need sandals for the summer and I'm out the $$ anyhow.

They are just too plain compared to my old Tolachi Sport Sandal.
For the price, their appearance pales next to the competition.

I have an old pair of the suede Tevas that I love, but they needed to be replaced. After some shopping I chose these. Boy was that a mistake. The shoes are very uncomfortable--the strap over the front of the foot hurt and left a blister after a short period of normal walking around the grocery store. The buckles that everyone raved about are on the wrong side of the shoe making them hard to use. I would not recommend these to anyone.

I bought the Toachi 2 because the old model with the toe guard was discontinued. I have wore out three pairs of the old model which tells you that they were the best shoe I ever owned. The Toachi 2 is not as breathable and the material is not as comfortable. That said, it is still the best replacement available and I would (and have) recommend it.

I am an aquatics director at a summer camp and am constantly in the water. The sandal offers great protection in the lake and offers comfort on the pool deck. This sandal is really good in all conditions for I love to walk also. This is my third Teva sandal in 12 years and I have been pleased with every pair.

I wore Terra Fi's for more years than I can remember & was about to buy another pair until I read the Terra Fi reviews on this web site, so I decided to switch to the Toachi 2. I sure hope those reviews aren't a sign of Teva starting to cut corners -- they sure haven't cut prices.
So I've had my Toachi 2's for ~2.5 months now & love them. I've worn them almost exclusively since I bought them -- to work, to the beach, etc. They have not started to smell at all despite never having washed them. I particularly like the buckle on the middle strap. The advantage is that since I settled on the optimum strap adjustment, all I have to do is use the buckles to put them on & take them off. This avoids the velcro wearing out like it finally did on my previous pairs of Terra Fi's. However, anyone can still put them on & take them off using the velcro & can ignore the buckles if they want.
I give these sandals 2 thumbs up for sure.
