I have been a fan of Kuhl clothing, especially shirts for years. For the first time, I recently bought some of their pants in a store and liked them so much I had to try more Kuhl pants that were on Zappos, since the pants selection in my closet was badly understocked. I thought some of the descriptors were not that helpful, and having tried a bunch of them, felt it would be good to pass on my experience. First some background I am 6 2 and 210 pounds, with a lot of that weight in my legs, so I always find it tough to find pants that fit. First pair was the Slackr design. These are the ones I liked so much that I bought another pair. The fabric is what they call Wundura, and it is incredibly comfortable very soft with a very light peach (their description) finish that is great to the touch. Most importantly though, they have a bit of stretch to them, which in combination with a sufficient cut in the leg, makes them incredibly comfortable to lounge in. However, because they don t really look baggy and the front pockets are regular slant pockets you would find on dress pants or khakis, you can wear them just about anywhere they have a bit of a more finished look to them then you might guess. Notably, they also are not emblazoned with Kuhl on the back, which helps make them more wearable in more versatile situations. I started with a brown pair (which has a bit of an olive tint) in a 36w 32l, and they fit perfectly. Normally I would buy a 36 34 but they seem to be cut quite long and the pants would pretty much be dragging in a 34. I then bought a khaki color, which has a little more of a stone tint, and the 36-32 also fit perfectly. I then branched out and bought a pair of the Renegades in 36-32. Much less successful. The Tufflex fabric is like a lot of stretchy softshell fabrics if that s what you re looking for. However, I think they are cut a little less generously through the legs, and therefore combined with the 4-way stretch, was pretty clingy in a not-so-good way. Return. Next went back to a little safety and tried the Desperado, which is also the Wundura fabric that I liked so much in the Slackr. Biggest difference between the two pants is that the Desperado has an additional side pocket cut a little more generously to hold more/bigger stuff, and the front pockets are more like a 5-pocket design you would find on jeans. They have a couple of metallic details on them, visible stitching, and are emblazoned with Kuhl on the back, so they come across as more of a casual jean-like pant, but much more comfortable. Fit is pretty similar, although the 36-32 I bought was much more generous in the waist to the point of being unwearable I ordered another 36-32 and they fit much better, much more like the Slackrs. Keeper. These are in Cobalt, which is basically a dark charcoal, almost a black. Finally, ordered the Revolver pant, which is made using their UberKuhl fabric. Wanted something that seemed more designed for warmer days. Not sure I succeeded the fabric is more like a light canvas (there is no peach finish to this), not a lot of stretch, but still very comfortable. Seems a little like the Desperado to me in cut, pockets, and overall look, but the fabric is completely different. The first 36-32 I bought was very tight in the waist, so I ordered another one, and similar to the experience of the Desperado, the second in the same size fit much better (variation in sizing seems to be a problem). I decided I m keeping these, mainly just because I like these Kuhl pants so much, but I have to admit I don't think I like the Revolver fabric quite as much as the Desperado and Slackr Wundura fabric. Perhaps I'll feel differently in the summer. Also a plus, these come in an additional color, Gun Metal, which is sort of a muddy green that looks quite nice.

I am 6'1, 195 and the 34"x32" fit great and look great. I bought the Revolvr and Renegades too and sent the Renegades back. While they may be some the the most comfortable pants I have ever worn, they make it look like you are wearing pajama bottoms, However, the Revolvrs are light strong and dang comfortable. They look fitted and feel loose. Highly recommend. Gun metal is dark dark green. Khaki is a sage color.

Kuhl Revolvrs are just about the perfect pants. Light but sturdy fabric, with plenty of room for comfortably moving around or sitting at your desk all day. Large and deep thigh pocket for your Smartphone. Also has that inside button (behind the zipper) that helps take pressure off the zipper and snap. I love that Zappos carries the odd waist sizes (which most retail stores don't), so I flattered myself by buying 3 pairs in size 31. While modeling the first pair I was advised they were so tight I looked like a 70's porn star (without the requisite packaging), so ended up sending them back for 32's. I now have a pair in each available color (and waiting for the Carbon ones to get in stock in my size). Of all the Kuhl pants styles, these are by far my favorite, with exceptional looks, comfort, and practicality.

These pants are freaking radical. I own two pairs of these joints and coming from someone who has the label of the human durability tester placed upon him by his friends. I have to say that these pants have held up to just about everything I have been able to throw at them. They have traveled from the tropics to the high country, slid down the side of many gravely hills, all without tearing or any major signs of wear. I would not recommend these particular pants for cold winter wear but for the rest of the year they are awesome.

This is the second pair of these pants that I have bought for my husband. He loves them!! He wears them to hike, travel, and they are even dressy enough to wear with a colllared shirt to wear out to dinner. Zappos had his size, the color he wanted, and they had them here in record time as an early Father's Day present for a cruise. Love, love, love Kuhl and Zappos!

Bought these as a gift for son in law. He has now bought three pairs and wares insted of jeans. He cannot get over the comfort . BUT while I'm reviewing, let's give a shout out for Zappos. For me there is no better company in the US when it comes to service both on line and at their call center.

Perfect for traveling. I bring these every time I take a trip overseas. The pants are comfy, practical, and easy to wash and dry. Big pockets are great for smart phones, passports, and even pocket guides. The pants are sturdy and wash and dry quickly over night. I always wear them on the plane and throughout my travels. The second button is a bit of pain, but the sturdy steel rivet keeps them fastened

Luhv the Kuhl Revolver line. It is really lightweight but durable as well. I do have some Rydr pants but they are heavier. The revolver line are like a good outdoor pant that breathe as well. You can Hike, snowboard when its not too cold or just wear them to work. They hold up to washes and have a great variety of sizes. The pants fit true to size.

Cannot find anything better. My husband loves the brand my Dad who is 86 and golfing lives in the shorts, you cannot go wrong with a half century difference between and all including the women approve - perfection.

Great slacks- my third pair. very comfortable- I just love the fabric. However please note that the phone pocket, while comfortable, sticks out a bit and can catch on knobs and hooks etc.

Great pants for skinny guys. My 6'2", 140# son has four pairs of these now (as well as Kuhl shorts).

Probably the best all around casual pant there is. My husband had 4 pair. They look great and wear/wash well.

My husband has 4 pair of these pants and he loves them. Wash and wear well. Wear year round. Comfortable. And they come in 35 which is rare.

The 40 was too tight and the 42 was enourmous

I really like these pants. They fit well and are very light and comfortable. they are all I want to wear.

This is my second pair of these pants. The first pair were a favorite of mine for warmer weather hiking, and after several years they finally wore out. I. Also have another pair of heavier Kuhl hiking pants which are great for cooler weather. Like my first pair, the new pants fit me well and allow easy range of motion with no binding in the crotch or knees, but they do not feel or look baggy. They are tough enough to take sitting on granite rocks, wash up well and dry quickly. Great pants. Good value.

I bought a pair of these as well as a pair of the Slackr. These Revolvr pants are lightweight, stylish, and comfortable. These have more of a synthetic feel compared to the Slacker. Although lightweight, these feel like they can last (and I pray it does considering the price). The cons I have is the sizing. The inseam seems a bit long. Compared to the Slackr, the inseam is roughly an inch longer. I'm not sure if it was just the pair I got, or if they tend to run a bit longer. Not a big issue. Also I got the size 42 waist, and I need to wear these with a belt so that they don't drag when I'm walking around. Overall, these are great lightweight, comfortable pants.

Kuhl Revolvr Pants are great. Cool and comfortable and fit perfectly. I had a pair of 36" waist which have become too big for me so I ordered the 35" waist and they are just right.

These are wonderful hiking, having around, and everything else pants. I love the fit and am buying more.
