Another adorable ladies hat from OR that fits larger heads. I purchased this one along with the Delray Sun Hat (see my review) and decided to keep both. This one will be great for the baking hot summers of the BC interior, and the draw cord at the back will let me tighten as needed for windy days. I purchased a Large (my head measurement, measured loosely, is 23.5") and it's perfect. I did try an XL but it was clearly too large. Cinching the draw cord made the brim bend in a weird way, but if you have a head measurement of about 24" go with the XL. I also like that this hat will float and has a dark underbrim which is great for glare. You also can't beat the pricing. I also own a Tilley but find their hats just way too hot for our summer temps.

Great sun protection without being too hot. Great for canoeing, hiking, watching sporting events or lounging. I lost my original hat which I used daily for 3 years. It still looked new. I was worried when I purchased it because it was white but it washed like a dream. Needless to say, I was delighted that I was able to replace it.

This is my go to hat when I need protection from the sun. It's the only hat I will wear while camping because of the large brim and comfy feel. The fact that it doesn't flap up in the wind making you look like an awkward sailor makes it the BEST HAT ever for canoeing!! I've bought multiples in different colours for fun. Buy it, you won't regret it!

I've purchased 11 of these hats in red or fuchsia, and wear them for sea kayaking. They provide great sun protection, the bright color makes me more easily seen, they stay on in high winds with the chin strap, and also stay on when rolling the boat. This color does fade from constant exposure to sun and salt water, which is the only reason I buy new ones. Otherwise, they're made to last. The 12th hat is turquoise, for wearing off the water.

I love my new hat. Although I've only worn it once, for sun and wind protection while out rowing, i found it extremely comfortable. I bought a size small and the fit was still a little big for me, a perpetual hat problem for me. What saved the day is the drawstring in the inside rim of the hat. This hat is perfect for what i bought it for, sun protection while on the water. I am sure it will be used hor hiking and as a travel hat as well.

I keep buying these. They don't wear out//they get mislaid somehow (odd because I usually treat the hat as part of my body). This time I got a white one and it is really nice. The size is somewhat adjustable so fit is excellent, with a cord for a windy day. I live in Florida and the big plus is the lined brim, which really protects the eyes.

As you can tell from the pictures this hat has an ample brim for excellent sun coverage. The back of the brim hits my backpack when wearing a tall backpack but I just roll it up and pin with a safety pin. Can take the safety pin out when not using the hat while backpacking or carrying a climbing pack to get the sun coverage back on the neck.

I love this hat! It's good-looking, the materials and construction are great, and the fit is perfect. The brim is appropriately wide on the front, back and sides, but it doesn't obstruct my view when driving as some other sunhats have. The chin strap means I can move from outdoors to indoors and back outdoors without taking it off completely. I just let the hat drape across the back of my neck when indoors, then move it back to my head when going outdoors. The only very minor complaint I have is that the toggle on the chin strap is a tiny bit loose, so if you need a hat to wear when driving in a convertible, this probably wouldn't work for you. Otherwise it's fantastic.

I use this hat every time I go out hiking here in New Mexico for protection from the sun. It's comfortable, and the size is adjustable so that I can tighten it up when the wind picks up if necessary. It looks great and so far (2 months), has held up with regular wear. I haven't yet tried to wash it.

I wear this hat every day for sun protection. It's comfortable and provides excellent protection. Best hat I've ever had.

I have used this hat for work but also for travel. It packs nicely in a suitcase without losing shape. I wear it for yard work, when I lead programs for my paid job, attending baseball games, you name it. Great color and a great, casual look.

I am going to purchase another hat. I am going to go to a local store so I can try it on first. My hat is a little too small.

I've in red for several years. The only reason I am replacing it is because the crown has faded but I wear it at least 30 hours a week in full sun.

Perfect hat to keep the sun off your face and back of your neck. Very comfortable and I love the white as it keeps me cool under a hot sun. The SPF is extra coverage. Looks good too.

Love love love this hat. If you want to stay cool and look cool, this is the hat for you. It does a great job keeping the sun off of my face and neck and stays put when I need it to. The size small fits my small head nicely, but I like the option to adjust it if necessary. Overall, the best sunhat I've tried.
