I purchased this messenger bag in January, 2015. Just 8 months later, one of the magnetic clasps that holds the flap closed ripped away from the flap and cannot be repaired. Zappos refers you to the "manufacturer" for warranty information, but Kenneth Cole appears to offer only a 30 day return. Expected better workmanship for a a messenger bag!

I have yet to present this gift to my husband, but from the first moment I opened the box I knew it was just perfect for him. It is a great quality of soft leather, with a nice rich dark brown color. The size is exactly how I expected and there are plenty of pockets on the inside. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Very stylish bag...high quality leather...very satisfied with appearance of bag. I am, however, returning the bag because of poor quality. I have only had the bag 2 weeks and the stitching is coming out to and seams are stretching. I am not over stuffing the bag. All I use it for is to carry my laptop and charger for work which both fit in bag with room to spare. Could be I just ended up with a bad bag and others are not having this issue but I am returning and getting a different bag altogether.

I was nervous about ordering this bag online without seeing it first. I purchased it as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday. He needed a new bag for work, and he loved it. I was afraid the bag might be too small. It fit his computer, notebook, charger, and a few other small things perfectly. The small pockets for pens/cards are great too.

Great bag. My boyfriend is very picky and he loves this. Simple, classy and versatile. My dad loved it so much he bought one for himself.

I bought this for my brother for his birthday. It was hard trying to find a nice leather bag in this price range and this had the best reviews of all the ones I checked. It arrived on time and he told me, "This bag is too nice for my stuff, it smells like a new car and feels softer than a baby's bottom!"

I bought this as a gift to a friend. When I got The bag, I was shocked of the condition of the leather. It was scratched and there were lumps all over the bag! It looks used but I know its not. Got a replacement very soon after and it was just a little bit better than the first one. So embarrassed to have to give to a friend as a bday gift but didn't have time to pick up another present. Reluctantly accepted it and very unhappy with Zappos! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. From a very unsatisfied customer!!

I purchased the Kenneth Cole Reaction bag to carry my laptop during my trip to England - as I dislike carrying to much for TSA to search through. This bag is awesome and I now use it for everyday usage.

Bought this bag in dark brown as a gift. As some of the other reviewers noted, the leather was a bit scratched up. I didn't think it was significantly noticeable and figured that with wear of the leather, these imperfections will smooth out anyways. The receiver of the gift loved the bag! Excellent for carrying around laptop, books, etc.

I love it! Perfect for folders and umbrella and the other pair of shoes. Well made - only compliant is that the flap magnetic clasps need a bit of encouragement to engage.

I got this bag in tan about six months ago and it has been my go to bag for business meetings and conferences. It is simple and stylish without being over the top or "man-pursey." The bag can easily hold a 13" laptop, the laptop charger, a folder or two, and a book all at once, if need be, but I usually kept it pretty light, as there isn't any real cushioning to make the strap feel comfortable on your shoulder. The bag color will change, especially if you bought the tan one like I did, so you need to properly treat and clean the leather when you get it. An occasional cleaning and treating thereafter will keep it in tiptop shape. I have loved this bag so much that I plan to get another one in dark brown in the near future!

This bag is awesome - it feels sturdy, and the leather is really good quality/soft. I was worried that the stitching was going to be really big and noticeable - but it's not. The only thing I think I could do without is the really large label on the front of the bag, but this bag is just so good I can deal with it. Also, I wish the pockets on the back of the bag were a little roomier - to accommodate a travel mug or something.

Beautiful bag, supple leather, all the right, elegant lines. A bit too large and heavy for my routine, everyday use, but can't wait for just the right circumstance to show off.

I purchased this for my husband who is using this for his work. It is great quality, the leather is very nice and durable. There are inside pockets for organization also. He loves it. We looked at several other bags similar in stores and he likes this one the best out of all the others. Good purchase.

I'm an office professional and I love this bag. It is beautiful, soft, professional, and has plenty of storage for a laptop, iPad, and files. The side pocket contains slots for business cards and pens also. Best bag I've ever owned.

Great bag--stylish and functional. Bought it in the dark brown as a gift for my brother, who seems to love it. The magnetic flap is great -- secure but easy to get into. We got the leather water-proofed after purchasing so that it's good to wear year-round. The leather isn't quite as soft and buttery as I would have liked, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me -- the bag is likely to get a lot of wear so the leather being perfect isn't necessary. Most leather messenger bags are double in price for the same thing so this one is a great value!

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas and it's a beautiful bag. Prefect size with a lot of different pockets for storing things. However, I have to return it because there are multiple deep scratches in the leather that are very noticeable. Hopefully the next bag they send me will be a higher quality or else I will have to find something else for his present.
