First off, I am a 'big guy' with diabetic feet. This means if I blister, I am sort of screwed for a while as it takes a long time for the boo boo to go bye bye. I am in love with these shoes. One of the few shoes I can wear without socks and with a good degree of confidence that my feet will be fine. I have 3 pairs of the Bypass, one for outdoor schlepping, one to use for casual outings, and a pair I wear all day inside as slippers. If I know I am going to be on my feet for a lengthier bit of time I simply wear a pair of thin socks or sock liners. In addition, these shoes are decent support-wise...they have held up really well under the punishing load that comes from my epic battle with gravity. Highly recommended!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. It's funny because I am a senior and have a pair of open toe sandals that I have had for over 15 years and wear them a lot and they are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn and I happen to look at the label of them the other day and they are by Merrell too. That blew me away. These clogs my first of its kind are also the lightest in weight of any shoe I have ever owned. I love these clog shoes.

The shoes (clogs) came within 1 week of the order. I immediately tried them on and was very pleased with them right away. They are very comfortable and look great. I wear them everywhere - I slip them on and go - to the store, church, dinner, shopping, everywhere. They're very cool on my feet. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an all around shoe. Zappos stayed with me the whole time, checking the status and letting me know where my order was. I'll be shopping here from now on!

Got these for my husband's recovery and rehab after his total knee replacement surgery. A slip on with good support was mentioned by the Hospital For Special Surgery staff as a necessity, and the Merrell brand was particularly recommended. During my husband's stay at HSS I noticed that about 75% of the professional staff were wearing Merrell's. Pretty good endorsement! I've worn Merrell's for years, but this is my husband's first pair and it probably won't be the last. He finds them very comfortable, easy to get on and off, and they make for more comfortable walking as he works through rehab. Not the most stylish, but that's not why we buy them.

I thought the mesh was flow-through. It's not. But they are very comfortable. I recommend them.

Nowhere near as good as the previous model without the elastic gore. The elastic gore and the cheap materials around the top would stop me from ever buying again.

I ordered size 14 in Gunsmoke. Way too large. Returned it, and with trepidation because the colors in the picture on the website looked garishly orange, ordered the Dark Earth (actually, brown) in size 13. Fit perfectly. So, I would rate these as a tad large, as I have to take a size 14 in some shoes, and most size 13 shoes are too short for me. Anyway, the Dark Earth color is in reality a rich chestnut brown, and the leather trim is muted in color. Not at all as garish as it appears on the site. I liked the Dark Earth ones so much -- so very supportive and comfortable, that I then ordered a pair in Gunsmoke, but this time in size 13. Again, fit perfectly and oh, so comfortable. The Gunsmoke is close to taupe (which, in French, means "mole") in color, and perfect to go with olive chinos as well as black trousers. Don't be put off by the colors on the web site, as they are not accurate. But the shoes are great!

Love this shoe! I wear women’s 9.5 and basically have no arch. This men's size 7 works well for me as well as the size 9 women's Merrell. I have been wearing Merrell Encore's for 5 years now and they have cured plantar fasciitis for me.

Really comfortable even at the end of day after standing on a concrete surface for 9-10 hours; no small back pain at all.

Because I had no way to try these shoes on in advance, I ended up ordering and returning two pair before getting the correct size. Throughout this process the Zappos staff was polite and helpful But, I really wanted these shoes and could find them nowhere else. So, I'm happy.

I ordered this for my husband and he loves it. Actually you can never go wrong with Merrell for men and women, first discovered it Dr. Oz show.

Took a gamble on these shoes because I've never seen them in stores. But with the returns policy, what did I have to lose. Definitely a casual shoe, but very comfortable with good support (critical!). Liked them so much I bought a second pair.

Great clogs! I work retail and am on my feet all day. These clogs are more comfortable than my sneakers and my back doesn't feel as tired at the end of the day.

Normally I wear 8.5 M. Had to order a full sized smaller to get correct fit for this model...otherwise an excellent shoe.

Great clogs. I ordered the wrong size and Zappos sent me the next larger size even before the first pair was returned. Great service after the sale.

I did not take into account the review that said this style runs half to a whole size large. I now realize that that was true! Now I am stuck with an unreturnable item. I am not too happy.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have a large selection of shoes I no longer wear because these are so comfortable. I am impressed with the fine craftsmanship of this product.

Bought them for my husband to replace worn out slip on and go shoes. Comfortable and don't look too clunky!

Oh my!!!! My daughter and I tried these on and fell in love. Once some store credits come through I will be ordering each of us a back-up pair and I have ordered myself a pair as well as my mom a pair. These shoes rock. I haven't actually gotten to wear them other than trying them on but my daughter loves them. Really hard to tell on sizing since we ordered men's shoes but here's the take: she wears an 8.5 Wide women’s and we ordered an 8.5 men's. The fit was awesome. I've ordered probably $900 worth of shoes in the past few weeks looking for work shoes for her. These won't work as she works in a vet clinic and needs solid shoes that would be worn in the health field, but for casual wear they are perfect.

I love Merrells because of their versatility and comfort. The shoe I got from Zappos was of high quality which I question when I find the shoe in an outlet like store.

I ordered these shoes to wear in the Operating Room. They are definitely the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. They are very light and provide great arch support. I highly recommend these shoes.

I ordered these shoes on a Thursday night and got them on Friday morning. They provided great service on the phone when I needed help because my internet was acting up. And the shoes are great!

I love these shoes and want to wear them all the time. They are more comfortable than slippers. The weave pattern of the upper makes it great for warm fall weather and gardening. I now have two pair and would like another in reserve. Zappos got them to me the next day. My husband was amazed!
