This is the little suitcase that could! You do not have to check it, it fits in the overhead OR underneath the seat in front of you. It is roomy (and even expands ever so slightly) and it even drives well! You do not realize how much difference it makes not tilting your bag to wheel it until you do not have to. I just ordered four more of these. We are taking our four kids to the United Kingdom for two weeks and each one of us is only taking one of these bags. Even the three year old can push it around easily.

This small suitcase is very light & easy to roll. As an older woman traveling alone, I found it especially easy to use. It is expensive, but if you want something that is truly lightweight, this is a good choice.

I LOVE this Cabin Multiwheel! Finally a carry-on, since I'm only 5'2”, which I can easily lift into the overhead area. Extremely smooth rolling wheels that easily rolls right beside you through the airport. Highly recommend this Rimowa.

This is a great carry-on suitcase! I chose the violet color which is a beautiful color. It is the smallest Rimowa I could find which works well for carry-on. I am 100 percent pleased!

This is the most expensive luggage I've ever bought, but so far it's been great - fits in the overhead, very lightweight, rolls easily, endures baggage handling well. Thumbs up!

Samsonite makes an excellent, less expensive, hard-shell spinner carryon that I think is good.

Four years after purchasing this suitcase from Zappos (thanks, Zappos, for great service as always!), I thought others would find it useful if I updated my review. I travel four times a month, and normally rely only on this suitcase for travel, even for international travel. I can fit a lot in this case, and it is lightweight which is fantastic. The wheels still roll well. The first one I received had a problem with the telescoping handle, and Zappos replaced it right away - no problems with the handle since then. The stick-on Rimowa labels on the outside of the bag melted off the bag within about six months - I suspect it was from being in the trunk many times in Los Angeles heat - they just slid right down the suitcase and eventually one fell off. The zipper tags on the internal zippers broke off, but the zippers still work, so I haven't bothered to try to fix or replace. And recently my trips are taking me on smaller planes where I need to put my carry-on on the cart outside the plane, rather than taking it on board. So now I am really starting to see the wear and tear on the outside of the bag - dents and scratches that are very noticeable. The surface finally cracked on one of these trips, and I do not know which one so I did not bother to try to talk to the airline about the damage - my husband glued it back together and it seems fine. Honestly, I expected it to hold up better than this, but when I ask myself whether I would buy it again, I probably would. It is lightweight and everything about it still works. But I have to give it four stars now instead of the original five stars.

Bought the Salsa Air Ultralight in dark blue. Very functional luggage. Tough to get used to zipping though because two "sides" don't line up well at times. Interior mesh dividers seem flimsy to me; we will see if they hold up to hard use. I do not like the single handle at all; it should be double to enable easier carry of add-on bag. TSA lock same as on most other luggage of similar type. Nothing special about it. I think the bag is overpriced when nearly identical products are less than half in price. Paid for the label...my mistake. I am a weekly traveler and never check luggage. Always in search of lightest weight with outstanding protection and ability to handle rough use. The bag has no side handle(s), either...also a minus. I think the polycarbonate fiber is a better quality than the cheaper luggage.

This is only a great carry-on item. It is not strong enough to check in. Mine came out of its fourth trip in the hold minus one of its wheels and is now a total loss. Do not expect this to be both a carry-on and a check-in suitcase.

Just purchased and took my carry-on on it's maiden voyage. Gate checked it, and when it was returned to me, it had a huge dent in the corner. I tried to just push it back out, and cannot seem to do so. Think carefully about this product before you buy. I travel a lot, which is why I spent the money on this bag. Now I need to take it to Fedex and ship it to a luggage store in me, who will look at it and decide what to do. Seriously! For the cost, they should send you a new one. I am extremely displeased.

I had called Zappos on several occasions to question where to locate the emergency key and how to set the combinations. Nobody at Zappos seemed familiar with the product and admitted that they could not answer my queries. I asked for the manufacturer's tel # and a request to get a return phone call. None of these matters were followed by Zappos.

The Rimowa is an unalloyed pleasure to use! Easy pack, easy carry, easy push, easy pull, light as a feather, and yes, gorgeous! There will be lots of cheap imitations, and some imitations not so cheap. This is worth every dollar you spend on it. It is, as they say, tres elegante!

I travel quite a bit for work and fun and I've never spent any money on luggage before, I usually buy whatever is at Costco. When this piece arrived I was surprised how small it looked inside, I didn't think it would fit anything but surprisingly it did. I was able to take it on a 4 night trip to New York. It is incredibly lightweight and the wheels are amazing. The quality is superior to anything anyone else was wheeling around the airport. This is a really nice, versatile carry on for short trips. 4 stars because of the price and limited color selection.

This cabin multi-wheel rollerboard is stylish, very light, and easy to handle but it is also flimsy, especially with the single bar handle. Mine has broken after five years of usage. I expect better from Rimowa but I do quite a bit of traveling (monthly) so in hindsight I should have bought the more study Rimowa cousin - Limbo or even Salsa Deluxe.

I disagree with the critical review. I have three sizes of the salsa air and they are wonderful! They have a few dings but they've been all over the U. S., to Greece, Thailand and Australia, and from the U. S. to South Korea and backthree times. I have checked the small cabin bag several times when there wasn't room om the plane. My wheels are all intact and I had no issues. I easily handled three suitcases by myself even on the uneven streets of Santorini. One of the best purchases I've every made. Worth every penny!

ive been using this luggage to Canada, San Francisco, Las Vegas and other cities and so far this luggage never failed me. With a lot of walking in the mentioned cities, the wheels are still perfectly working, you cant even see a scratch from it. super light weight and stylish! i will definitely get the bigger size for check in luggage

I am very pleased with Rimowa Salsa Air carry on. It is a breeze to push through the airport and it makes the whole experience of travel just a little bit better because I'm not struggling with my carry on. It has a good balance to it when packed and fit easily into the overhead bin on a Delta International and Domestic flight. I love that the two sides have zipper enclosures separating them because when you open it, it's easy to get to what you need without disturbing the entire contents of what you packed. I used packing cubes with this and it ended up being a nicely organized carry on. The lock works really well. I got this in the ice blue color and love it.

My husband and I purchased 2 of these suitcases for a 2-week trip to Europe. Look no further - they are amazing! Functioned effortlessly over cobblestone roads. I think the wheels on any other suitcase would have busted, but these don't even have a scratch. No issues lifting by the long handle while going up stairs, being tossed into luggage racks, etc. Very light even when packed full. Clamshell opening very functional and easy to pack. Moves so easily around tight corners and narrow paths. Holds more clothes and shoes than you might expect! Better than the 29" because you can carry on planes and yet it will hold everything you need. Well worth the money!

Elegant minimalist design and beautiful craftsmanship. It's expensive, but well worth the money. I had always been skeptical of the carry-on lifestyle, but I was able to fit over a week's worth of clothes, shoes, and toiletries in this suitcase with ease, and doubt I will ever want to check a bag again. Note that even though this bag is technically larger than the size limit for many domestic carriers, it fits in the sizers at the airport with plenty of room to spare, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting it aboard to fit in the overhead compartment. This is the best carry-on luggage I have come across, and I highly recommend it.

I used to think four wheeled luggage was strictly for the weenies and wimps. I was wrong. Having four wheels for strolling this little darling down the airplane aisle, or through the airport (and with one finger) is traveling nirvana. And, this is my fourth piece of Rimowa luggage. You cannot beat their quality, craftsmanship, special touches (I love the TSA locks and the built-in Velcro tie downs), and durability. Yeah, this baby will get scuffed and scratched, but it is darned durable. My cantankerous husband was positively gob-smacked at how much this small bag can hold. Yeah, it is expensive, but so worth it. You will have it forever. Consider it an investment. You will not need any other bag for 3-10 day trips.

This is a great little Carry-On, very easy to maneuver, sturdy and lightweight. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I could pack for a 4 day trip. It was well worth the price to me and a bonus was being complimented by 2 young family members on how stylish it is!

It's light and compact, rolls like a boss and is easy to fit in overhead compartments. If durability is comparable to the 26" case from this same collection (which I have taken to numerous trips to Southeast Asia and South America), it is the perfect carry on.

I purchased this suitcase for my business trips. I travel often up and down the west coast and this little carry on is perfect for a four day trip. I was worried that I would not be able to fit too much into this, surprisingly, everything fits (Also with some smart packing!). It is light, it turns like you will not believe it. I used to travel with one of those carry on suit case I got from Costco, but it is just too bulky and heavy. Lifting this little light suitcase up and down the cabin is very easy. I got the ultra violet, it is such an awesome color! The price is high but it is well worth the money. It is highly recommended!

Love this sleek, lightweight bag! The spinner wheels are sturdy and the handle is tall enough for me to glide through airports, hotel lobbies, parking lots, etc.
