I bought this suitcase to help me move from Chicago to Amsterdam. I took about 5 suitcases with me, and this was the easiest to pack and transport. It's such a simple concept - a big plastic square box, but I haven't seen anyone else who makes suitcases like this. The design makes the suitcase very easy to pack because there are no bumps or ridges to pack around, just a vast expanse of flat space. The best feature is that each half of the suitcase can be zipped up and sealed so you can open and close the suitcase without everything falling out again. I only took it on one trip so far, but I didn't see any evidence of damage on the suitcase, so it's holding up well so far. I plan to use it in the future as the main suitcase for me and my partner to use while traveling, because it's big enough to hold both of our stuff for a week and it's a dream to roll through airports.

We just got back from a 17 day trip to Italy. Love this case! It's lightweight with easy mobility and great look make it worth the price. I got a lot of compliments on the purple color. It made it easy for me to keep track of my luggage at the airport & when it was being loaded on and off the bus during the trip. The light weight allowed me to pack more clothes and shoes and still be within the weight limit. The four wheels moved easily on any surface: wood, tile, carpet, and uneven stone roads. The only thing it lacks is a built in add-a-bag strap which is included on the Salsa Deluxe model. I was able to buy a black mesh strap to attach my matching Rimowa Salsa Air carry on to the bag by looping the strap through the handle, but a built in strap would have been easier. With that said, I was able to move this bag, fully packed, with the carry on attached with one hand (I'm only 5'2"). It stayed balanced on four wheels and rolled easily through the airport. It got a few scratches from being jostled around during the trip. I am more concerned that an inch of stitching and black edging material on the corner of the case got broken during the trip as this could cause the zipper, which worked so well on this trip, to split from the case in the future. The exposed stitching strikes me as a design flaw on an otherwise sturdy case. My experience getting this repaired will be the topic of a future review.

Great suitcase - it was our error in choosing this too large size. I need something a little roomier than my usual 22" Rimowa carry on and we went overboard in this size. I'm going for the 26" - not carry on but a little less austere than packing the 22" for a 15 day tour of Turkey. This is a great case and you cannot beat the free shipping and returns.

I have not traveled with this bag yet, but it is very light weight with lots of room. My 200 pound son stood on it to see what would happen. It immediately returned to its original shape. Can't wait to travel with it.

I cannot say how much I love this suitcase. I travel a lot, and have health problems that make lifting and managing suitcases very difficult. This suitcase fits all of the ridiculous junk that I have to take on trips to make sleep and survival possible. Pulling a suitcase is really hard for me, and this one just effortlessly comes alongside or in front of me. I have two of them, and if I put them handle side to handle side, I can have them both move easily in front of me and manage them with one hand. Don't let them go on a sloped walkway though, or they will take off on an excursion of their own, and you will be chasing them. They have been on a number of trips, within the US and internationally, and have held up perfectly so far. If you overstuff and blow the zipper, it realigns itself by rezipping. I have both the 32" inchers, and the smaller ones, about 26" I think. One thing about the small ones. The compartments are not deep enough to take larger items, and I needed at least one big bag to make it work. Great bags. I love them.

This is the lightest suitcase I've ever owned. It just floats on its multiwheels and looks amazing in ultra violet. The quality of Rimowa is superb. I have owned a Rimowa carry-on hardcase since 2006 and had to have a larger version. I would highly recommend this particular Salsa Air. I really like the zippered compartments on each side which help keep items in place and makes it easier to zip it up when fully packed. Make no mistake - this bag is huge. I tend to overpack as a result.

My Rimowa Salsa Air just made its maiden voyage to Vanada. Walking it through the airport was a dream. It just goes beside you with ease. I got lots of questions and compliments on it. I love the spinner wheels. I am going to get the carry-on with spinner wheels.

I have not used them yet but they look fine. A little pricey but will see when I pack. Zappos was great to deal with and they responded overnight.

The 32" Air helped me survive a 5 week trip through Asia. I debated between the Salsa Deluxe (which I have and love in a smaller size) and the Air. Since I needed more room and was worried about the weight, I bought the Air and I'm SO HAPPY with it. It wheeled around just as well as the Deluxe (I didn't notice the wheel size difference wheeling them around), was able to carry all my bulky items, and when I had to open my luggage at the airport, the mesh dividers kept everything clean and neat (nothing falling out) and easier to open and close. I didn't mind the T handle at all (a small concern before the trip) and in fact, I wheeled two suitcases by myself without any trouble. Totally worth the purchase! In fact, my father had suitcase envy and immediately bought a Rimowa for himself. He thought he wanted the extra features of the Deluxe, but in the end, his age (he is less strong these days) made the lightweight Air his choice, too. We love it. Thanks to Zappos for quick delivery!

Light weight. Love that the compartments in both sides zip. Easy to push and pull. Not a fussy bag. It’s more than enough room. the only thing - because it’s a large bag - need to make sure it’s not overweight (50 lbs) when you check it for airline travel.

Was looking for a nice looking light, spacious and durable luggage for the upcoming trip to Ukraine. Needed something that's also vegan. This turned out to the perfect thing. Took t with me on my trip. One connection each way and it still looked like new when I got back to the states. I am now a huge fan and planning to purchase all the sizes for the trips of different lengths. It is a serious investment but so worth it.

Surprisingly very lightweight and the inside has a lot of space. The different colors and clean design make them easy to spot on the baggage claim area where black is the most ubiquitous color.

Incredibly lightweight and roomy, this bag will give you plenty of room for your clothes as well as all those gifts you want to bring back from faraway places. The locking mechanism actually works, and so far, the baggage handlers haven't been able to scuff it up too much. I love the purple because it really stands out among a sea of black. The wheels glide along and the handle is very sturdy. I'm so glad my husband and I invested in these bags. We have the 29 and the carry on as well. He has the ice blue. Gorgeous bags!

I bought this item in May for a recent trip, round trip to Spain. It packs beautifully, very light, expands, moves as if it is floating on air, and what is really important for me closes on each side internally with a zippered panel. The only downside is that it seems to be particularly vulnerable to scratches and marks. I was able to remove all of the marks, but there is a scratch on the top corner that might be fixed. I will contact the manufacturer and see what can be done. It is such a beautiful piece of luggage, but not so once flawed. Yet, I am delighted with the performance and will have my luggage wrapped at the airport next time!

Great piece of luggage. Amazingly durable for how lightweight it is - even the wheels. Gorgeous colors, too. This is my second piece of Rimowa. They should include luggage tags, though! Zappos' service is consistently outstanding, especially the VIP level. Amazon can't touch them!

Rimowa salsa air is just a lovely baggage. I like the fact that its lightweight and big so I can fit my stuff in for a long traveling. Plus, the colors are just gorgeous. The only downside of this bag is only that it doesn't have any belt inside it to secure your stuff.

Spendy and worth every penny. I bought this huge suitcase because the "smaller" carry-on was so perfect. Very lightweight. Plenty of room. Nothing bad to say!

I used this luggage once on our 12 day trip to Italy. While I liked how light weight the luggage was alone, it also rolled with ease through the cobblestone streets of Italy. The weight and ease of Rimowa are much better than Tumi suitcases I have used prior. I gave this 3 stars as I am disappointed in the quality of the actually luggage. After one trip, the seams on the zipper have already unraveled and become undone. For a luggage in his price point, I would expect it be durable enough to uphold through many trips. So disappointed because I loved the luggage for ease or use, weight and space!
