Perfect for dance class and my daughter loves them. She wears an 8.5 in sandals, a 9 in tennis shoes, and I ordered a 9 wide in these. She probably could have fit in a 9.5 since her toes don't have a ton of room. Quality shoe.

We first ordered Capezio tap shoes, but even the wide size was extremely narrow. We exchanged them for the Bloch wide tap shoe and this is much truer to size. Our daughter loves them and we definitely plan to order them again as her foot grows.

Wahoo! Finally found a tap shoe to fit my 3 year old daughter! This shoe is shaped more appropriate for a child with its wider toe box. Like that the heel is detailed patent too!

I loved these shoes, but to me they did tend to run small. My child was wearing 8 1/2 to 9 shoes, and she probably needed a 10 in these. I will be ordering another pair to replace these now because they are too small. I love how they have the elastic with the snap under the shoe string. I would highly recommend this shoe.

i found the tie pointless as well but this is the brand we keep coming back to. My 4 year old likes them as well.

So much nicer quality and comfort than the Target version for just a few dollars more. The snap underneath the strap so that we don’t have to untie and retie laces is genius

After months of my daughter complaining about tap shoes hurting her feet, these shoes have stopped the complaints and she is very happy to wear them. The elastic to keep them closed is a nice touch too.

I ordered my daughter a full size down, which was a mistake. They were about a full size small, so had I gone with her usual size they would have fit, I think. I ordered a wide, and she has slightly wide feet. Definitely need the wide.

Very cute tap shoes for my 2.5 year old! The decorative bow and elastic snap closure seem much better than the traditional tie. I originally ordered her normal size 8 regular width (size she wears on Natives) however they were really tight and narrow. I did not think my daughter had wide feet but reordered the 8.5 W and they fit great and she loves them! ?

The fit is a bit small so I would size a half size up. Otherwise the shoe is perfect. After lots of research I Chose this brand over Capezio because everyone wrote in that the Capezio tap shoes are extremely narrow and to go with a wide width. I didn’t want to take my chances. Plus ...I Noticed real dancers preferred Bloch over Capezio. My daughter loves them and does not complain one bit!

My 2 year old granddaughter has pudgy little feet and the regular width tap shoe wouldn’t fit. I’m glad this brand carries wider widths. I can get them on her feet but I do think they could be a bit wider to fit the little ones who still have baby fat. I’m not overly concerned though because at her age she is wearing them for only 5 minutes at the end of her toddler ballet class and she loves making the tap noises! I also love the elastic strap with snap closure that is under the decorative ribbon tie. I removed the ribbon for practice as it’s hard to keep her still one enough to tie it!

Fits true to size. Normally wears size 11 (Native shoes) and these in size 11 fit perfectly. Quality shoes.

My daughter wears a size size shoe and wears a 9 in this tap shoe. Shoe runs big but overall is adorable and a great shoe!

Perfect for beginners! No tap ties needed since these have snaps. I'd go with the next size up, they tend to be a bit snug.

All time faves of my daughters. When she grew out of the first pair I purchased a less expensive brand and she absolutely hated the way they felt. Not sure what it was but she refused to wear them. Bought another pair of these. We both love the easy snap closure.

We went through many pairs of tap shoes to find one that worked for my preschooler. She has very small feet for her age, but they are chubby. Most tap shoes would dig into the top of her little feet, these are perfect! They look so cute with the little fabric bows, but for daily practice, we take out the bows and she just uses the elastic straps that snap so she can change between tap and ballet shoes by herself in class. After two years of tapping, she's now on her third pair and I wouldn't order anything else.

Definitely get these! My 3 year old is a true size 9 and I ordered a 9.5 wide width. They fit her perfect with a little room to spare in the length for the dance season. There is a snap elastic band as well as a black ribbon to tie across. The tap in front and back are solid. Her face lit up when she put them on and she danced and shuffled and is very excited for her first tap class. Definitely would recommend.

These are cute shoes! Great tapping, great price, and wider than Capezio's version (much more comfortable for my three year old's wide feet). I think tap shoes are generally suppose to fit snugly, and that is true for these.

These are great little tap shoes. I got them for my 4½ year old and she was thrilled to start tapping in them. I love that they have an elastic snap that secures them and then the laces to give it the traditional tap shoe feel. You can remove the laces but they do not bother us so we keep them on. My girl wears somewhere between a 10 and an 11 depending on the shoes so I went with the 11 so she would have room to grow. They are a good fit so I would say they probably run true to size.

I bought 2 pairs of these tap shoes for my 3 year old twins. They fit them perfectly. They are so comfortable that both girls want to wear them all the time! No blisters like some dance shoes. And not too narrow which I have found common in dance shoes as well.

Good quality sturdy shoe, the tie is removable, the width is accurate, and the lining is soft and cushioning. My daughter loves these dance shoes.

Good shoe. These would have been fine but I decided to keep the very similar Capezio tap shoe. The Bloch was prettier in that it has a patent heel, but the elastic fastening on this shoe was too loose for my daughter.
