The Saucony ProGrid Stabil CS 2 doesn't have much arch support. I would classify this shoe as low to moderate arch support. Also the arch support isn't quite in the right place for my foot. (I need moderate to high arch support.) Since I have a high instep, I don't think it would work for me to try to replace this shoe's insole with an insole with greater arch support...the shoe wouldn't fit right as then it wouldn't accommodate my high instep. The mesh on this shoe is sheer enough to allow water in and you can almost see your socks...just thought someone would like to know. The mesh is made with large holes.

I have been a long time wearer of Brooks shoes for stability and I got the opportunity to buy one of these at a discount and I wanted to buy a new shoe and try it out. I still like my Brooks, but this shoe really does a nice job of providing overpronation support. I feel this shoe is adequately wide, that I am not walking on the edge and getting a blister along my arch as I do in other shoes... In addition, they are easy to lace and adjust the fit. I often find myself having to buy man's shoes to feel this well supported, and I appreciate that this is a woman's shoe and is holding up very well (as I am heavy and an extreme overpronator). I am very happy with them and will likely buy another pair in the future.

I've bought this same make and model of running shoe for a few years now. While last year I was excited about the switch to purple coloring, I'm even more excited about this year's change. The mesh over the toes is way more flexible than before. I'm training for my second marathon, and both my 2nd toenails had turned purple after the halfway point in training. I got these a few weeks later, and the increased flexibility in the shoe's upper has allowed my toes to start getting better, instead of worse. Way to go, Saucony! Also, I have very flexible feet which means I have no arch when my foot pounds down, and the stability of the sole means I never have any discomfort or problems in that area. I will definitely keep buying this shoe. Love it!

Great shoe for those needing stability and cushioning. My heel and Achilles discomfort has greatly decreased since I switched to this shoe. The shoe offers great arch support for an overpronator...Great for walking on pavement or trails. Good looking for a sneaker.

I like very much how lightweight these are compared to previous versions of the Grid Stabil I have worn. Same comfort and support, but without so much heft. However, within a week of buying these, part of the sole started to come off, so perhaps they aren't as well made as previous versions.

I love Saucony! This is a great shoe. Just pulled it out of the box and went for a 3 mile jog. I've owned 6-7 pairs, this is my first pair of the Stabil, and it really helps with the overpronation. The wide toe box is great and doesn't ruin my pedicures!

I am so impressed with this shoe. I have flat, really flat feet as well as arthritis and tendon problems. This is my first Saucony shoe as I usually wear Brooks Addiction. This is certainly on a par with them. If you have foot problems from surgeries like I have you'll love this shoe. Great support, looks good, worth every penny.

I bought these on the recommendation of my podiatrist, and I have to say they are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I have to get used to being able to see my own toes through the mesh, but I love these shoes!

I bought these shoes for running, but I haven't tested them out yet. However, I have walked long distance in them and they are very comfortable.

I am on my feet most of the seven hours that I am at work as a manager of a Curves gym. I have arthritic feet and, as use of these shoes would indicate, overpronate terribly. Comfortable and supportive shoes are extremely important to me. With the Saucony ProGrid I actually find that is not necessary to use my orthodics as the construction of the shoes and its insert provide me with all I need!

I am training for a 39.3 mile walk, and my first day wearing these, I walked 18 miles with no problems whatsoever! I am an overpronator with a nasty bunion from years of wearing the wrong shoes, but these shoes provide both the stability and the cushioning my feet need. My first pair has taken me 300 miles already, and I plan to stick with the ProGrid Stabil CS.

I have arthritis in my feet, heel spurs, and severely overpronate. These shoes give me the support I need to be able to get through the day. I highly recommend them.

My podiatrist gave me a list of shoes to help with my plantar fasciitis. After reading some reviews, I decided to try the Saucony Progrid Stabil CS2.
They fit my hard to fit feet very well (but the wide width is a little wider than I'm used to).
I still have the heel pain from the plantar fasciitis, but I think these shoes have eliminated the overall achy feeling I was experiencing in my feet.
I am happy I purchased these and will likely buy them again.

Not as cushioned as the previous model. Also a bit wider; I am wearing slightly thicker socks when I wear them. The added ventilation material is excellent.

Great shoe, just a bit heavy for my taste. Had a wide toe box which I definitely appreciate, hugged my heel, and were comfortable. Just felt like a little too much weight on my foot.

Saucony is the only running/sport shoe I buy now, I have always had great luck! Unfortunately, this is the first pair that actually hurt my foot. They felt stiff and caused pain in the ball of my foot. This was one of the few times I bought a shoe without reading reviews first. I have since read them. I also thought the part by the heel was so soft that it was hard to put the shoe on. I also have flat feet and these shoes did not provide the proper support. I will need to return these shoes, but will order a different pair, because I know Saucony is the best for my foot, and Zappos is the only place I go to for shoes, they're the best, and I make sure to tell friends too!

I regret I am returning these for what seems like a silly reason. The top of the heel cup is so soft that is simply collapses each time I try to enter the shoe. This will drive me nuts. Who has a shoe horn handy at all times for running shoes? For this price, I am searching for a shoe I can really love.

I did not like these at all. They really hurt my feet I should have stuck to my brooks Ariel, they have motion control and comfort. I have true flat feet not fallen arches or obesity maybe that is why these did not work for me not even with my custom orthotic are they comfortable. My feet hurt for the rest of the day after I wear them. I should have returned them.

Too metallic - these looked like spaceships on my feet. Too bad, they are very comfortable, but I couldn't get past the ugly.

This shoe runs incredibly wide. I normally wear a B width and in this shoe, I had to go to an AA width.

There was no padding in the front of shoe, that is, shoe felt same as if it had been worn down already.

Love this shoe! I was originally fitted at a running store with the Omni Progrid but then started having issues with my foot falling asleep about 1.5 miles into my run. We figured out that I needed more arch support and these shoes work perfect! I've had zero issues since I started running in these shoes.

This is one of the best shoes I have ever owned! I am a severe overpronater and usually shoes will hurt the sides or arch of my feet. These shoes didn't do that. I am a 10 1/2 wide and the wide in these are great. Very cushiony while being supportive. I ordered the pink and it is a very pretty looking shoe.

I love my Saucony Progrid Stabil CS-2 . This is my 6th pair of Saucony and they are so comfortable! I have flat feet and with my arch insert, I can walk without pain all day long.
