Goodbye New Balance. After 20 years I have finally found a pair of sneakers that are wide enough in the toe box with no rollbar! As someone who underpronates a rollbar makes the outsides of my feet ache since the rollbar forces my foot out of its natural motion. These are so lightweight too. I started bouncing around as soon as I put them on and my boyfriend was shocked. I bought these in WW, here are the WW ones I returned that were not wide enough: New Balance WX623, WW577, Jeen A86 TR (not WW). The New Balance WW846 was slightly wider than these Sauconys-- but had a clompy rollbar. If you need wide in the toe box and are neutral or an underpronator you should definitely try these sneakers. Also, I had to get these half a size larger than I usually get in New Balance, in the same size as my regular/dress shoes. I hope this helps. These are the first sneakers that I have ever liked enough to review!

I don't know when I lost my feet, but it happens. One minute I'm wearing cute, colorful sneaks, the next, gone. At 48 years old, my feet simply wouldn't put up with whatever I threw at them. Prior to these Saucony Progrid Integrity ST 2 Walker sneakers, I had problems with PF and no matter what insert or sneaker I tried, I'd be limping by lunch. Awful pain. I bought, special inserts, compression socks, a hard foot sleeve to sleep in and countless other widths and size of various shoes. Nothing worked. Saucony Progrid Integrity ST 2, while not pretty, simply work. I didn't change out the insert or anything. Just put them on out of the box and just like that, my feet thanked me. Now - #Saucony, if you're listening: fix these god awful plain beige, white and black color choices. We want fun, pretty colors and designs. Bad feet does not equal bad style. You can (and should) do better.

I can't say enough about this shoe. I am walking again! My fast paced mall walk has returned, thanks to the Progrid Integrity ST 2. I just finished five months of physical therapy for having anterior and posterior tarsal tunnel surgery, plantar fascia release, heel spur removed, and 1st metatarsal spur removed. Have had metatarsal stress fractures in the past, so deal with arthritic changes. I wore this shoe right out of the box. And to the grocery store, the mall, and did two 30 minute walks that day. When I get up from sitting, I can walk without pain. I have c-shaped feet, E to EE width, high arches and high instep, with a narrow heel. I underpronate so much I easily sprain my ankles.Wore them with my thin orthotics. No blisters. I can lace them. Plenty of room. Finding shoes for underpronaters is difficult. Even with my orthotics, they don't allow me to roll out or in excessively. And it lifts my heel enough to keep weight off of my heels. Insert has added foam on underside, so no need to add heel inserts, etc. for heel pain. My search is over. Get this shoe and enjoy life again. Previously wore New Balance 1064, 1123, and 1225, with orthotics and store bought/home made heel inserts. Love these!

I forgot to say in my review of June 29th--and this is SO important--that these shoes are very bunion-friendly. I have a bunion on my left foot, and while it usually doesn't bother me much, the wrong shoe can REALLY set it off. This isn't one of them for me. I initially became interested in this shoe because the FootSmart catalog mentioned this very thing. These are replacing the Orthaheel Walker that I bought in April, 2011, which were comfortable, accommodated my orthotic, and didn't irritate my bunion, but I didn't think they wore that well. I had the same experience with the Etonic LiteWalker before that. We'll see how these last--I always know it's time for a new pair of shoes when my knees start to bother me--being in my mid-50s and a little overweight. BTW, I also tried the Saucony Grid OmniWalker at the same time. The toe box was narrower and the shoe didn't feel as natural on the foot as the ProGrid, so I returned those.

If you have problem feet; this is the shoe for you! I had almost given up finding anything to accommodate my bunions, hammertoes and painful heels until I ordered these! There is a special something in the heel that has totally eliminated my heel pain, and the leather is so soft, and the style so expertly engineered that my bunions and hammertoes are no longer a problem. Also, the toe box is wonderfully roomy, so that my poor toes are not crowded. I was so impressed that I bought two more pair, one more in black for winter and one in white for summer. I'll be back for an additional pair in white. I had tried everything, including special carried-by-podiatrists-only expensive shoes that I had to return. Thank you, Saucony for letting me walk normally again... shoes are wonderfully lined, too, and "diabetic friendly," which means nothing on the inside to irritate. They are a pleasure to wear every day. My feet are happy again.

Although I always read customer reviews, I very seldom write one. In this case I am willing to write a very detailed description of of this particular shoe because I think I may be able to to help people who have serious foot problems decide if this is a good shoe for them
This shoe runs very small to size and it is possible that someone who would find it a good match for their problems will give up just because they can't find the right size. I'll try to tell you what I know in order to help others. You need to keep these 2 things in mind when considering these shoes: (1) I bought my first pair of these shoes about 8 years ago. At the time there was a shoe company that gave a description of each shoe they sold telling exactly what type of shoe and what types of foot problems a shoe was meant to address. These shoes are built for people with high arches and who have the types of foot problems that can result from this. If you have high arches, arch or heel pain, plantar fasciitis, under probation, heel Spurs, or bad knees made worse by foot problems this shoe was made for you. I started out with high arches, plantar fasciitis, and prescription orthodics. Over the years I developed heel Spurs problems and osteoarthritis. I have had to have foot surgeries and knee replacement. I have had two different doctors to tell me that this so was "perfect" got me. One was a podiatrist and the other was an orthopedic surgeon. If your MO is similar to mine, it may also be a good shoe for you--if you can find the right size. (2) The second thing who need to keep in mind if you are considering buying this shoe is that your"real" size means nothing. If you look at the other posted review and they tell you they run small, they are not kidding. I knew kind of what I was getting, I read the reviews, and I went up a size, and I still had to send them back. I had to go up a full size. Some people, especially those who weather's orthodics, may have to go up a size and a half. I also had to go from a medium to a wide. If you have s high arches, they are going to be tight across the top of the shoe above the arch. If you are not prepared to get a size larger and wider than you normally wear, and you're not prepared to return them if they don't fit, you will never wear this shoe. Hope this helps. If you bothered to read all this, you are the kind of person I bothered to write all this down for.

These are not an attractive shoe but I have neuropathy in both feet and these work well for me. I've recently started walking for exercise and finding shoes that I could wear was a real problem. These shoes have a wide enough toe box for my sensitive toes and good support for the whole foot. I've tried several shoes and these were the ones that worked for me.

This leather Saucony ProGrid Integrity ST2 is the best neutral walking shoe for an underpronator with high arches who tends to walk on the outside of the foot. It is deep enough to accommodate custom orthotics. I have plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia, plus extremely high arches and a very high instep. Although my foot technically measures as a medium width in women's shoes, I often have to wear a wide (D width) because I literally cannot fit my orthotics plus my foot with its high step into a regular width shoe. This shoe runs a little more narrow than the Brooks Addiction Walker, and it is much more neutral than the Brooks Addiction Walker. Width: In my opinion, the "D" width of this Saucony walking shoe is really like a "C" width, right in between regular and wide, which is perfect for me. However, no 2 pairs of this shoe are sized exactly alike! I tried ordering a second pair of the exact same shoe, but it just doesn't fit the same! One pair fits me just right in size 9D, but the second pair is too wide in the heel and a little longer in the toe even though it's the same size...9D! I'm working with a podiatrist and a physical therapist. Recently, my physical therapist told me to wear only this Saucony shoe with my orthotics, because it is the only shoe which is neutral enough to allow me to stop walking on the outside of my feet. (It's the only shoe which doesn't make my underpronation worse.) If you are an overpronator, you have the opposite problem, and this shoe may not be the best shoe for an overpronator. If you are an overpronator, try the Brooks Addiction Walker. I also have a tailor's bunionette on one foot, and the leather of this Saucony shoe has just enough stretch to it so that it doesn't bother my tailor's bunionette too much. I'm able to wear this Saucony shoe in a women's size 9D, but my foot in reality measures as a women's size 8.5 B. This Saucony shoe accommodates a high instep like mine...however, in my case, I still have to tie the shoe on loosely, and skip some of the holes when I lace up, because my high instep is sensitive on top of my foot and cannot take any tight laces.

A sincere “thank you” is in order. I love walking and had to curtail it because of forefoot pain caused by Morton’s neuromas. I tried every running shoe under the sun, but nothing worked. After two miles, I was always in pain. I finally decided to try a shoe specifically made for walking. These had good reviews so I ordered them. I just got back from a four mile walk and feel like I could do another four miles! Thank you, Saucony. The shoes are pretty ugly, though. So, if you’re reading this, Saucony, can you please add some contrasting color? Even gray and white would be better than nursing White. I feel like Nurse Ratchett. I’m only 66 years old, not 80!!!! Do not assume that just because I have bad feet, I want shoes with zero style. I’ll order another pair in black today, but I’d prefer more color choices. Thank you for making them in Extra Wide. Overall, I’m thrilled. I’ll take comfort over fashion any day. But if I could have both, I’d be forever grateful!

These shoes are instantly comfortable. The width is great for narrower feet and the heel box is low enough that this doesn't rub on my ankle bones. I like the amount of arch support it provides for my foot. The tongue is nice and soft so no rubbing there! I'll be buying another pair.

Great shoe for those needing excellent support due to foot problems. Great shoes for my morton's neuroma and plantar fasciitis. Nice wide toe box, high arch support and great forefoot & heel support. Support system is soft feeling, not hard and uncomfortable. Heel is still plenty narrow for those needing narrow heel and wide toe box. Use them for walking and working out, even step class.

Was hopeful but ended up disappointed. I have high arches and the tongue is quite thick making it uncomfortable on top of the foot and difficult to lace without going too tight. I thought of going up a 1/2 size, but my biggest problem (the tongue) wouldn't have really changed.

This is a great shoe! Had surgery on my Achilles tendon/heel 9 months ago and have struggled finding a shoe that works for me until I found this shoe. The leather is so soft and comfortable with great support. I had to get orthotics a few weeks ago to aid in my recovery and they fit perfectly in this shoe. They require little break-in time. I did find them to be a half size smaller than other shoes, ordering a 10.5 instead of my normal 10. While I can't say these are a terribly attractive shoe, when you've walked in pain for 3 years and then had surgery with more pain, looks really aren't a top priority for me. I can finally walk again comfortably with this shoe and that is a blessing! Thanks, too, to Zappos for their patience with me as I searched/ordered/returned so many shoes before finding this great shoe! Great shoe-- great company!

These shoes have helped my feet a lot. I have high arches with a bone spur/plantar fasciitis and sometimes I wear these shoes around the house just to help with the pain. On my walks, these shoes have helped reduce any pain I might have in my feet. I do wish they had a mesh top but perhaps another style does.

Add me to the "delighted" column! I have narrow heels, wide fronts, very high arches (that want to fall), so I live in Saucony running shoes. These are a great walking shoe for me - especially for winter as it is so much warmer than the running shoes that I have had as they are all mesh and my feet freeze in cold weather. I have walked and stood all day in these and my feet are much less achy. (some other Saucony "walking shoes" that I have tried have felt too "uncushioned" and made my feet tired very fast.) They add a nice bounce to my step, and they hold my feet even over uneven walking surfaces. There is not much arch support so I will probably add an orthotic, but even without, my arches were not tired after a long day. The insole provided has especially nice cushioning. I got the black to hide under jeans for everyday wear. They are kind of geeky looking but I did not want bright white.

I ordered one pair in white and one in black (Zappos had them on sale!). I usually wear 6 1/2 or 7 depending on the manufacturer - most Skechers are 6 1/2, Keens are a 7). I got these Sauconys in a 7 and the length is perfect. These are sooooo much nicer than the Skechers Premiums I have worn for years. More cushion and a bit more arch support. The leather is better quality, and the heel drop feels more natural too. The tongue is thick, but soft and doesn’t irritate my ankle. Oddly, the black pair were more comfortable on first wear. Like other reviewers I thought the black pair looked like uniform shoes, so I bought some Delele 45 inch half round laces in different colors and they look cuter. My new favorite sneakers!

I have never bought shoes over the internet before, but finding size 10.5 EE on the shelf is no easy task. My mother had directed me to try and find a pair on Zappos. I wanted multi-purpose shoes that could be for walking, running, and were half way decent on style. I also did not want a pair of shoes that were all mesh, since I often walk on wet grass at school I didn't want wear wet shoes to a full day. Well, considering the kind of shoes I wanted, my choices were rather limited as you might guess. These shoes, however, fit what I wanted pretty well. The size is nice and roomy; I even have room for my wide spread toes! One thing with the size, however, is that upon reading other reviews I thought when people said good arch support they meant they're good for people with high archers, which is something I have. I needed to get a different insole for them, which is actually something I might suggest to anybody who's thinking about these shoes. The insole that they come with is nothing but a thin flat piece of foam. One other thing that may or may not be significant is that I first got these shoes in a size 10 EE so they were a little too small, but this might have been my fault considering I wasn't sure if I needed to get a pair of shoes that were exactly my measured size or a half size bigger. However, this just gave me experience with Zappos returns, which I'm happy to say went splendidly! I now have my second pair, which I had for more than a month now and am very happy with them! They are light and are good for walking and running. I even got a compliment on how nice they look!

I like to walk and dance, but have a wide foot that also needs arch support. I've tried ordering a few other types of athletic shoes from Zappos in D width, but though comfortable at first, my foot ached after wearing them a little while in my apartment. Finally I found this pair from Saucony - they made it through the apartment test, so I took them with me on a trip to New Orleans - they walked me all over the French Quarter for four days, and there was no break-in time, nor any discomfort! They had plenty of room, and felt great from the beginning! Only improvement - they could use a bit more arch support than they have, but I'll take 'em! Hope they work for you too!
