By far the best climbing shoe I've owned. They work amazing on steep climbs but are also soft enough to smear on slabs. I can actually wear these for long routes without getting sore feet unlike other down cambered shoes I've owned.

Probably the best out of box fit that I have ever felt and it lasted through the life of the shoe! Truly an amazing piece of footwear for bouldering and sport climbing!

Best steep terrain shoe ever! I love these things, hooking and pulling with your feet on severe overhangs is no problem. They are not a shoe I can climb in all day, but for how drastic the down-turn is, they are quite comfortable. Very aggressive and very durable, my favorite pair of evolvs hands down.

Great shoe for steep bouldering and sport climbing. Awesome toe power for grabbing on steep terrain as well as toeing into small edges on vertical terrain. Very comfortable right out of the box. The heel has a great combination of stiffness and sensitivity for heel hooks. This shoe and the Predator are my primary shoes for gym, bouldering, and sport. The rubber and durability are as good or better than anything out there!

This is the most amazing shoe ever created by man kind. Aggressive yet comfortable. The heel cup is the most solid feel I have experienced in a shoe. If you have never used a pair of these, you should. Nothing even comes close to comparing to the power and traction of these kicks.

This shoe is by far my favorite. It's aggressive yet comfortable, and it has a perfect heel cup. And it fits women's feet perfectly! Love it!

The best pair of rock climbing shoes I have had in the 13 years I have been climbing. I have a street shoe size of 16 and these shoes really help help support your feet. They don't stretch and have been great for bouldering and sport climbing. I would highly recommend you give these shoes a try.

Oh, the Talon. I was in love with the first generation predator and then one day a pair of Talon G2's landed on the door step of my tent in the Red. Out of the box they were perfect for my project! Even though they are aggressive, they are soft enough for vert and downturned enough for steep. The edges are amazing, the smallest edge feels like a jug. This is my go-to shoe, I cant get enough!

OK, the Predator kicks butt, but the Talons kicks butt, tail, heads, arms, you get the idea. These shoes are by far the most technical, precise, comfy, good looking shoe in my arsenal. The Talons come with a synthetic liner that I just can't live without, no break in period. The Trax rubber sticks to absolutely anything I put them on, even the heal. They deepened the heal cup which I really enjoy. The G2 seems to be a better all around fit. They thinned the rubber on the toe rand, which made for a much more sensitive toe hooking spot. All around, Evolv knocked it out of the park with the Talon G2's.

The Talons are my favorite climbing shoe I have ever owned. I switched from the 5.10 Dragons to the Talons and haven't looked back. I put them on for the first time and was amazed at how well they fit as well as how comfortable they were. It only took me a week and a half to break them in! The liner on the shoe makes them comfortable to wear for extended periods of time the only drawback to the liner is that it does trap in odor. However, since the shoe is all synthetic I just pop them in the washer and they are good as new!

I've only been climbing on these for 2 days at my gym but I'm already super happy with these shoes. My last few shoes were the LaSportiva Nagos, Evolv Defy, and the Anasazi Blancos. I love the Nagos because they were extremely comfortable after the first week; though they did not edge or stick well compared to the Anasazi; I plan to resole them with the Stealth rubber. The Defys were pretty underwhelming and didn't impress me in any facet. The Anasazis had awesome sticky rubber (Stealth C4) and were super stiff and supportive; but the heel cup was designed like total shit, had dead space, and was painful even after thoroughly breaking them in. I wear a US men's 10 in a street shoe; 43 in the Nagos; 10.5 in the Anasazi; and strangely 11.5 in the Talon. So the sizing is definitely whacked out on these. Go up at least a full size from your street shoe. At 11.5 all of my toes are still curled and I have a slight hot spot. But in the 12s, my big toe was pretty much straight and I didn't feel like I could feel the wall as well. These shoes are so comfortable. It's amazing. I wore them for 90 minutes the first day and never had to loosen them. Wore them yesterday for 2.5 hours and again, had no pain. This was such a relief/transition from the Anasazis. The arch is pretty aggressive. The toe point sticks well into tiny holes. The heel hooks well. The laces were about 10 inches too long; so I cut and burned one end off of each one. Now they're perfect. They lace super fast, smooth, and the fit is really easily controlled. They smear pretty well; not as well as the Anasazis; but they do their job. Edging is also really nice. I think this will be my go-to shoe for a long long time. Definitely worth every penny.

The Talon G2 is a great climbing shoe! This is my third pair and I really like the fit. My feet are somewhat narrow and the lace-up style helps the shoe conform to my foot. I usually have trouble with the heel of a climbing shoe being too roomy but the heel of the Talon G2 fits well. The toe is just slightly downturned to give good performance while still being comfortable.
