Spenco 3/4 Orthotic Insoles are great and give far more support than other brands I've tried. I am buying a second pair of #1 size so I don't have to keep moving them when I change shoes. Previously, I had ordered the #2 size (women's 7/8) because I wear a size 8 shoe but found they did not fit my foot properly and hit my arch too far forward - very uncomfortable. I then tried the #1 size (womens 5/6) which fit perfectly. I don't think the size problem is Spenco's fault, apparently, with age (I'm 74), the front of my foot has spread but the distance from heel to arch has not changed much. So even though I wear a size 8 shoe, the Spenco #1 size for women is the correct size for me. Hope this helps someone else with the same problem - don't give up on Spenco just try the smaller size. Zappos makes it so easy!

I found these orthotics years ago after my podiatrist tried to sell me a $750.00 pair of custom orthotics to help relieve my plantar fasciitis. I found the Spenco brand at a military surplus store and I have worn them every day since and they are still in really good shape. Very durable and comfortable. You can put them in very hot water to soften them and shape them to the contour of your feet. My plantar fasciitis did end up going away and has never returned. These may seem a bit pricey compared to "insoles" but these are not insoles. They are orthotics, and they are very inexpensive compared to the kind you get from a doctor. Try these before you let your podiatrist talk you into buying custom-made ones. As a side note, you will need to have shoes that allow extra space for these orthotics. If you generally wear a regular width, you will need to go with wide. Also, you can't wear these with sandals or any kind of sling back shoes. You're pretty much giving up cute shoes for life if you need these, but at least every step won't be painful!

These are amazing! I have Mortons Neuroma caused by splaying. My podiatrist sells these and says they are better than hundred of dollars orthotics that others sell. they last forever and are moldable by very hot water, a few minutes in a hot oven, or a heat gun my podiatrist used. These are washable and contrary to the other review they can be worn with anything except for riding boots. My podiatrist said sandals and such require just a piece of velcro with the sticky back.

I developed Plantar Fasciitis a couple of years ago. My podiatrist sold me these inserts. They worked instantly and I felt relief walking out of his office, into the parking lot and into my car. It has been a pain to switch them from shoe to shoe. At this price, I can afford a few more pairs. Thanks, Zappos!

I have been using these Spenco supports for many years. Doctor recommended these for the very painful plantar fasciitis I had. It was so painful I could barely walk some days. Within days of wearing the Spenco's I was walking pain free and have been ever since. I'm am ecstatic that Zappos carries this particular brand of orthotic insoles. So happy with Zappos for their outstanding service. They have a great record with me and my many orders over the years.

Seem expensive, but worth every penny. I had plantar fasciitis for 2 years & never want to go through that again. The PT told me to always have a good arch support, not just the foam kind. He recommended these. I even put them in my Brooks Adrenalines (running shoes). I'm on my feet for work, & these are life-savers. They won't fit in my dress shoes, but they're in my clogs & everything I can put them in.

Ridiculously expensive but they really are the best insoles I have worn. They are desperately uncomfortable for the first two days, and after that they are an absolute life saver. I have high arches and narrow heels that always slip around in my shoes, these help make the fit better as well as adding arch support.

I'm not too crazy about the insoles. I purchased these and the RX version that looks similar but they're full length. I don't like either insole. I don't find them to give me any arch support which is the whole point of purchasing these. The RX bunched up and were a size too big and these just are not comfortable at all. It gives me the same amount of arch support as insoles that come with shoes. Sadly, I'm returning both insoles

Style is NA because they are orthotics and noone can see them when you have your shoes on. These made some cool looking but not so comfortable shoes amazing. Athey are a little wide so it may screw up the leather on these otherwise flat boots but so far there is no effect. 3/4 length is great because it has great arch and heel support and doesnt crowd out your toes. you cannot feel the edge. perfect.

What a find! After I blew out my knee skiing in 1984, and learned that I had chondromalacia, I got some custom-made PAL orthotics. I wore those for 25 years, until my beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever chewed them beyond repair. I got some new ones to the tune of $500, but they never fit right, so I abandoned them and finally got some Dr. Scholl's at the drug store. I sort of bought these as a "what the heck" purchase, since the Scholl's didn't really give me enough support for my extremely high arches. I didn't realize when I bought them that these were moldable! After a few iterations of boiling them, shaping them, testing and tweaking, I now -- finally -- have orthotics that work the way my ancient PALs did. Hurrah! I can't recommend these enough if you have really high arches and problematic knees.

These are wonderful. They are a true orthotic not just an insole. I had a bad fall that resulted in all kinds of tears and bruising in my ankles/legs etc. Although I mostly had healed, I was still having problems with my walking and had developed planters fascia. I had custom orthotics made at the foot doctor. I was never comfortable in them and after several adjustments stopped wearing them. I then found these, in 2 weeks of daily wearing it was like night and day... I wore them everyday for a year. My feet have been good since. I still use them occasionally if I have a day I'll be on my feet a lot. Don't hesitate buy these!

My doctor recommended I try these first, before going to custom inserts. They do seem to help, I've been using them for about 3 weeks, still experience some heel pain in the mornings, but not as constant or severe as before.

Much too wide. I am a woman and these insoles seem to be only for men. The width should have been indicated along with the size.

I am a teacher with bunions and flat feet. As I get older and my feet get wider it has been difficult finding comfortable shoes to wear to work. I used to wear Vionic's slim fit insert but lately my feet were not completely happy. I decided to switch to these inserts based on reviews I saw in the vionic insert reviews. I'm glad I did. For the first time in years my feet are not tired and achy AT ALL after a full days work. Also if you have wide feet and wide shoes, these orthotics will fit better. I will be buying more of these soon.

I wear a size 10 N and have high arches. I wear the smallest Spenco size a size 1, ithe women's size chart they give does not correspond. In my opinion women should only buy a size 1. But these have saved my feet and knees!!! In my Adidas running shoes, I even place 2 Spenco arch supports (since sports shoes never come in narrow and I have to wear a size longer) and I can walk for miles! These arch supports have removed all knee pain for me! I highly recommend them.

Very comfortable, but with the plastic bottoms they slide forward in the shoe. Would suggest a piece of double sided ape to keep them from moving.

This insole has good arch support. Feels comfortable. For sneakers, I think the full insole would have been better. This one is a little wide to fit in other types of shoes besides the athletic shoes.

I have high arches and even companies with a past reputation of making quality shoes, no longer make shoes with good arch supports. These Spencos were the perfect solution. The 3/4 sole takes some getting used to, but if you also have a high instep like me, the 3/4 sole is a better fit when you need more foot-room in the front of the shoe.

These just arrived. I put them in my old tennis shoes and I'm not sure I'd like them there. I put them into my Crocs (don't judge me) and it worked really well! We'll see how they work out after a while wearing them!

Supportive, hard plastic arch with soft covering. Good for shoes where you need the additional arch support but not take any extra width in the toes. My only caveat is that the front edge does not taper so I could feel the ridge under my forefoot. I returned this and went with a full insole where I could remove the shoe's original insole completely. I wear Spenco in two other pairs of shoes already.

These insoles are a lifesaver. After countless hours of walking and standing all day on the job and vacations, I don't feel the usual aches that I normally would before I started wearing these. I've brought these on multiple trips that involve being on my feet and will do so for many years to come.

I have used these and the full length footbed liners for many years. They do a great job of support and comfort for my feet. They can last for a few years depending on your activities. I have very flat feet and these insoles are in every shoe I wear.
