I love the comfort & support of the Spenco arch support. Spenco made a "huge" mistake. They did not make this insole anti-microbial! I have owned their inserts for years, and I thought who stinks and it was my shoes. This product will not last more than 9 months and then it will smell. The other Spenco products last for 1 to 2 years and do not smell. So disappointed, they used to have this same product with a purple anti-microbial cushion. Please switch it back!

This insole is very comfortable and supported my arch. Main issue: In less than one year, this insole "stinks." I have had this same insole, but with the purple color (former material to this same model) and I still have it two years later. The problem with the new material is that it will smell. I thought the shoes stink; nope, it was the insert. I was so grossed out; I have never had stinky shoes let alone stinky feet from the insole. Dear Spenco: Please change the material so that my insert and shoes and feet don't stink. Please come back with the purple colored material that is way better than this salmon colored insert! Thank you. For now, I'll try the other Spenco insert. The green insert is okay for short trips, but not for long walks. This arch support by Spenco is much better.

I usually use superfeet berry but was looking for a cheaper alternative. These fit nicely in my Nike training shoes to provide a bit more support!

I have had eight extreme surgeries which began with severe over pronation along with all the accompanying symptoms. I am now walking better, but still have need for moderate insole. These work very well for me now especially on the healthy foot. I plan to buy three or four more sets for other shoes.
Good job Zappos!

I've used these in my running shoes for years. My podiatrist recommended them. I put about 400 miles on a pair before replacing. They are light weight and work well. They provide much better arch support than the insoles that come with the shoes.

These support insole inserts are great. They offer support and balance for a more comfortable feeling whether I'm active or standing. A very good investment for the care of my feet.

I am extremely happy with these. They fit my 8.5 shoes perfectly. I bought several different inserts and these are great.

I've bought several pair. They work great for strong support of arch with great cushion for ball of foot. The fat pads on the bottom of my feet are diminished yet I have a high arch thus the need for both.

I have hypermobility and thus very flexible feet, so I've been having trouble with arch pain, heel pain, and ball of foot pain (sesamoiditis). My arches are pretty low and I have Morton's toe (short big toe, bulges a little to the side). In the hopes of avoiding $400 custom insoles, I ordered five pairs of orthotic inserts to compare at once. I specifically needed metatarsal support in addition to arch support and cushioning. Previously tried inserts included the green Superfeet (horribly hard on my arches), Powerstep original (okay, no cushioning in ball of foot), and Prothotics Motion Control (great in my hiking boots, too thick otherwise). -Vionic Orthaheel Oh Shock Absorber This insert had a moderately high arch -- okay, but a little high for me. Some support for the metatarsals but it comes in at a weird angle. -Vionic Orthaheel Dress Slim fit I chose this insert for a dress shoe, but the ball of foot pad conflicted with an existing pad in the dress shoes. Otherwise, good arch support and ball of foot cushioning. -Spenco Polysorb Crosstrainer (recommended by my Podiatrist) The heel cushion in these was so thick that I couldn't get my foot into the shoe securely--even in my tennis shoes, my heel was far too high in the shoe and kept sliding out, even with the laces tied tightly. -Spenco Total Support for Her I decided to go with these, but the pair that Zappos sent was dirty, as though someone had clearly worn them with filthy feet. Thankfully Zappos is exchanging, but this is kinda lame. I chose these because of the low, firm arch support and cushioning in the forefoot. There is a metatarsal pad, but it's not huge so I don't notice it. One question is whether it allows my big toe to flex enough during walking. When I make a conscious effort at it, it's better -- maybe have to break them in a little? -Aetrex Lynco Casual Women's 625 (from Amazon since Zappos doesn't carry this) The metatarsal support in these was so high that I felt like I was walking on an egg. Something about the material didn't give enough and was causing nerve pain in my arch.

I put these in my running/walking shoes, and they have been very helpful with my arch and my metatarsals.

I've used these inserts in my running shoes for years. They made a great difference in alignment and overall running comfort. This is my second pair. I probably should have replaced them sooner, but I ran over 1,000 miles with the first pair. Once the new pair came I saw I was overdue when I compared them to the old pair.

Great support! I wear them in my Converse and can now walk all day without foot pain (even with plantar fasciitis). They might be a little wide for dressier shoes.

Great for comfort and support. I have high arches and I'm losing the fat pads on the bottom of my feet. These allow me to stand long hours without pain.

I am an over-pronating daily fitness walker in the late stages of recovering from a bad metatarsal arch sprain and hairline fracture of a cuboid bone, and these insoles feel so good as replacements for the shockingly flimsy foam insoles in my New Balance 928s. They are well made and are wearing in well. After wearing them for a week, I am pleased with both the rigid anti-pronation and arch-support architecture and how the less-rigid material is conforming to my feet. The ball-of-foot and metatarsal arch support is good. I am very pleased with how stabilizing, supportive, and comfortable these insoles are and plan to buy additional pairs in the future.

Nothing beats the Spenco line. In the past I used a unisex Spenco arch support with a long high instep but these ladies version are very similar. I think the the unisex version had a bit more plush or rubber cushion but these fit great. Feel great. I use these for work since I am on my feet 10 hours a day. I have used these inserts for 25 years. Love them. They wear extremely well too. You will need to buy a shoe half size up in your shoes that you wear them in.

These inserts have helped me a great deal. I have Plantar Fasciitis and a very high arch along with narrow feet. I can never find shoes that fit and are comfortable but these make it possible. They do not fit in every pair of shoes but most and I have no pain at the end of the day.

Great insoles. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis prescribed by dr other insoles but were too expensive. So I just tried this. Immediately I feel better, great support. I'm getting another pair.

I have purchased custom orthotics for hundreds of dollars. These may not be quite as good - but they are close! Very comfy and fit right in my shoes.

These are great! I needed some arch support, stability control and cushioning. Cannot use them in dress shoes but have worked for me in clogs, running shoes and shoes with laces.

I need good arch support that is not too rigid or prominent and these insoles really work for me -- better than the regular Spenco "unisex" insoles. When you compare the two types side by side, they look pretty much the same, but somehow there is a subtle difference that provides more comfortable support. My only complaint is the pink color -- it looks terrible in most shoes and gets easily stained by dark colored socks! I really hope Spenco will begin offering these in a darker color soon.

I want to get these to replace my expensive custom insoles, but I choose to return them. The custom ones just have so much more support than these. They aren't bad...but not enough for my fussy feet!

This is a good basic insert. not too thick so it will fit in a lot of types of shoes. not a super amount of arch support so I will be using these in more casual shoes, not work shoes. I purchased 8 different inserts and this is one of the 3 that I kept

This is a very good insole if you have high arches. I have plantar fascitis and these feel really good. I've tried lots of the others, but these have the best support. You have to take out the insole of your shoe to use these in your trainers. But they work great.
