Great shirts but run very small. My son is 6 (wears a size 7) and the 10 fits but I wish I got a 12 to allow for growing room and shrinkage.

I have 3 boys, ages 4, 6 & 8. All three boys are true to size at any retail store..Gap, Nordstrom, etc. However, I have purchased the Lacoste polos many times and you DO have to go up in size and they DO shrink. I am very particular with my laundry and hang dry all shirts after fluffing in dryer for 5-10 minutes. These shirts will still shrink so order up a few sizes! My 4 year old is growing out of the size 6 LaCoste in his closet. It is actually shorter and tighter fitting than his 4T Gap polos. I ordered him the size 8 and it will be perfect for him to grow into. My 6 year old size 10 and my 8 year old size 12. All will be perfect for this upcoming school year with room to grow. If I had needed them for a special occasion RIGHT NOW (and didn't mind if they grew out of the polo in a few months), I would've gone down one size from what I ordered. Our son wears size 8 in Children's Place, GAP, etc. - based on the reviews, I ordered Lacoste size 14 and it fits him perfectly. Order the 14 if your son usually wears an 8.

Order at least 4 sizes up if your child likes shirts a little large. My four year old grandson wears a 6-7. I ordered a 10 and it may not make it through the summer.

This is a good looking polo shirt. It is good quality and fits well. It is not too narrow or too long. However the fit is small. I got size 6 for my 2½ year old (he is on the tall side), but still recommend sizing up. I got the white, orange, light blue, and light pink. All are perfect.

Love these Lacoste Polo Shirts! Can't find a nicer polo shirt for kids anywhere! Excellent style, value, colors, and brand label name! Only thing is the polo shirts tend to run a little small. My son is 6 years old and we have to get him size 8 instead of size 6 because it is too small.

Well, it's Lacoste and it's great! A 3t would fit my son perfectly, but not offered. I got several of these in different colors. Great top in lieu of t-shirt!

There is nothing better than than Lacoste polos. The fit is excellent, and I love the colors. You can't go wrong!

My son is 8 and of normal size, I had to buy him a size 14 and even that is not as big as he would like!

I have purchased many lacoste polos.This color does not come clean in the wash! I have washed and rewashed this shirt to no avail!

Caution--runs very small. My 3 year old son usually wears a 4t and i got a size 6 in this shirt--still a little snug. Great quality though.

Excellent quality shirt. Needed it for photos and it was perfect. My son is 3, very thin, and normally wears a 3T but I ordered a 4 for him and it fit just fine. It runs very small.

Color fades horribly. Never looks clean. Looks Ike it was washed with a load of new black jeans. Watch out for this Mandarin color. :(

I bought size 8 for my seven year old son,it is just right and he loves it. Very good quality.

This brand fits either way too small or big. Order 2 sizes if you need it sooner. Great for kids when you want them a little dressy but comfy.

I love the Lacoste polo shirts for kids! The premium quality, nice fit and brilliant color are great! Thanks to previous reviews I ordered 2 size 14 for my 8 year old who fits size10 custom RL polo shirts. It looks great on him with room to grow, the fit is better than the RL. The "Fiord" blue is a Maya blue, 2 shades darker than the pic, just in case you are ordering them for the precise pic color. I ordered them as school uniforms. Overall pics with my 35 mm DSLR looks fantastic so 5 stars!!!!

I read the other reviewers and i have to disagree with the sizing. I bought my almost 5 year old a size 8 based on the reviewers saying size up and it was huge on him. He is average to tall and average weight. ( 44 inches tall and 44 lbs. ) I think the next size down will be big . I think he would honestly think he would be ok in the size 4 bunt to make it last 9 worry about shrinking the 6 ). I'm going to stay it is true to size or maybe slightly narrow.

Runs small!! Most of the Lacoste shirts do, European style but I am European and still think they are too small. I have a tall and skinny 11 year old and the 10-12 size had to go back.

Ordered my 7 y/o a 10. After one wash, my 5 y/o can't even fit in it now.

I liked the shirt but after the first wash, it shrunk at least an entire size so now my son can't wear it.
