Lacoste quality not what it once was. Sizing is different than years past, and the cotton is no where near as high quality. This shirt pits very easily and stretches out. I have tried unsuccessfully to replace some of my 6-7 year old Lacoste Polos and all the new ones just do not compare. Colors fade, they stretch out, etc. Even stranger is that despite everything being 100% cotton there are clearly material differences for different colors. The textures and weight are different and they are clearly of different qualities. Very disappointing for a shirt that costs this much. Look elsewhere.

This is my second attempt at Lacoste Polos. Both shrunk after the first wash after following the care instructions on the label. I'm sending it back, poor quality. You're paying for the little green alligator I'm afraid.

Can you say shrink?! Washed it once - shrunk two sizes and looks like it's two years old. Major disappointment.

These polos are great quality. Nice cotton and fit really well.They area not too oversized.

We love lacoste products so I was happy to see that my favorite site carried the brand. The shirt is a classic. If you like to put your polos in the dryer, I suggest ordering one size up, as they shrink a size.

You can't beat a Lacoste polo shirt for classic style and quality. This is the real thing. This particular color is even more striking in person - the photos don't really do it justice. It's the perfect color for Spring.

It does run small - but I love it on my husband. He wears a XXL, and that's what I ordered. It is a little snugger than he likes, but I think it looks great. I will wash in cold and hang dry though.

It is a LaCaste. It feels and looks better than similar Polo and Hillfiger shirts.

I purchased this polo for my dad. These polos are classic, you can't go wrong with them. A little pricey but well worth it. It's essential to have one or two of these in your closet if you like polos. I own one of these and my first one stretched out after more than 2 years...not bad at all. Zappos service was excellent as usual. Thank you Zappos!

My 15 year old son was interested in this shirt, and he was very pleased. Appears as it does in the photo, washes well, good quality finishes.

The shirt looks as good as the photo and the fit is perfect. Plus the shirt arrived in record time! We were so pleased, we will be using Zappos more and more.

This polo is simply the best. It is really comfortable. It shrinks a tad bit when you wash it so you might want to order a size larger. Make sure you do not put it in the dryer because it will shrink a lot.

I was very happy with the shirt but also with the service and this was my first time ordering from Zappos and the overnight shipping was great, as was the customer service when I had to exchange the shirt for another size. I will be a Zappos customer again!

I've worn Lacoste polos for 40 years. This batch seems to pill more than others I've purchased. Other than that, the same great style and fit.

Great shirt! I'm not a huge fan of not being able to tumble dry, but not a big deal.

To avoid shrinkage: wash cold, regardless of what care instructions say, and do not tumble dry.

Great shirt, true to fit, looks great and is comfortable. I only gave it 4 stars overall because even though it is a great shirt not being able to just wash and pop it in the dryer is a drawback.

As much as I love this classic shirt sizing and wear/tear over time is always frustrating. The French number sizing (1,2,3,4,5,6) isn't easily translated to US conventions. I'm a medium in most shirts, the Classic fits well out of the box, in size 5 but after a few washes and air dries the shirt shrinks up. There should be a suggestion to "size up" when purchasing.

Nice shirt and quality material. Size is a little small, I buy a size up.

I'd rather not have that alligator logo on the shirt, but otherwise I consider it as almost a necessary garment here in the deep south with long hot summers and restaurants, etc. getting more casual than they used to be. Excellent material and fit for the older person.
