I hate to give this shoe a bad review, but they are very narrow...no, you gotta be kidding me! Kind of narrow. I have wide feet, but usually can deal with B/M width designer shoes. So, knowing that Ferragamos run narrow I ordered, not B, not C, but D width. Did I want to get fun color shoe? Of course. But fun colors don't come in D. So, I got the black. What I got is beyond disappointment. The D width is similar to narrow width in any other brand. I am not kidding - I measured. 8D shoe was 3 inches at the widest part. My Chanel classic ballet flats in B are 3.25". My Chloe B width scalloped edge flats are 3.25". These shoes in extre wide were narrower that any other shoe in Medium. And they are patent leather that does not stretch as much to boot.

Love these - of course, they're Ferragamo! Another reviewer noted that these run large, so I took her advice and ordered 8½ when I typically wear a 9. Unfortunately, those were too small and my experience is that they run true to size.

These shoes are true to size and extremely comfortable. I love them. I will get more of this style!

AbFab! This is my fifth pair of Varinas, and yes, they have changed over the years, specifically the design of the soles. I don't like the new design, but then again I always have the shoes re-soled with thin rubber as soon as I get them - gives better traction. Ferragamo Varinas are just so elegant and I love them. But what is it with high-priced designer shoes and their leather or slippery enamel-like soles? So very impractical.

These shoes are a dressier alternative to a more casual ballerina flat. They look and feel very well made and sophisticated. They are not my most comfortable shoes, but are getting more so each time I wear them.

The shoes are so cute! And just like all Ferragamos it's really comfy - no break-ins needed. The patent leather animal print is classic & fun at the same time.

Ferragamos were the only shoe my mother could wear in the 1940s and 1950s, because her feet were long and narrow. I inherited those exact feet, and Ferragamo Varinas are simply the most comfortable, sumptuous shoes I own. Plus, they fit from the second I put them on. No blisters. These do run narrow, so perfect for those of us with narrow feet. Agreed about the slippery leather undersole, but as my mother taught me: go outside and scuff them up on your patio! You'll be good to go. It would cheapen them to have a rubber sole with traction. Absolutely simple, elegant shoes which last forever. Iconic. Love these shoes!

Awesome shoes, but too big! So stylish - easy to dress up or down. Beware, I ordered a size 5.5 (which turns out to be a size 37 European but they didn't advertise this and I normally wear a European size 36). Anyway, order a 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear in US sizes.

These shoes are a large size 9. I normally wear 9 AA and maybe an 8 1\/2 would be a better choice.

Beautiful shoes that look dressy, especially for flats. They ran a half size small and even in the bigger size they were narrow and hurt my bunion. I even tried the wider "C" size but they were huge! They just didn't fit me right.

I love these shoes but they are very narrow and a little long. I had to really stretch them out and ended up with blisters the first few wearings. I should have probably returned them and gotten the wides elsewhere (they do sell wides, they are just harder to find). Now that they are stretched out though, I love the way they look.

I desperately wanted these to fit. Admired them for years, but no luck. C width much too narrow. Had to return. I wear medium width in all other shoes.

I wear on 8 in Varinaq but this shoe in 8 was too short so returned it for an 8.5 which was perfect. Just ordered another pair in another color. I have slightly narrow feet and width is good. I love all Ferragamo shoes and have worn them for years.

I purchased the black leather ones, not the patent leather. These are easier to break in and look amazing with almost any outfit. You can dress them up or down. I usually wear them with work attire, but I find that I can also wear them with skinny jeans and dresses. I am normally a size 8 and these fit true to size. I have normal-width feet, perhaps on the wider side, and these fit okay but definitely pinched a bit the first few times I wore them. I imagine that they will feel fine after I fully break them in. Pricey shoe, but they look so elegant and classy. I can picture myself wearing these for years to come.

I am in love with my new blush varinas. I normally wear a size 8, I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. The color is classic and these shoes will dress up any outfit. I am so happy I made this investment.

These shoes are perfect. I usually wear a 8M and the 7.5C fit me perfectly. The heel runs narrow even in the C width, which works for me because I have narrow heels. They are so pretty and make every outfit I have tried on, even jeans and a tee, look incredible. Love love love these.

I am very happy with the Ferragamo Varina! It is extremely good looking and fits perfectly! I wear a 6.5 N and it is becoming more and more difficult to find appropriate shoes. Thanks to Ferragamo for continuing to manufacture narrows. I gladly pay the price for these!!

Love these shoes, classy and nice! It goes with everything! I finally purchased them. I wore it for the first time and the sole chipped in the front, Zappos sent me a new one, I added a sole protector. I wish I could afford it in more colors. It's a beautiful shoe!

Such a great shoe! I got the red in my usual size (5.5) and they fit perfectly. Going a half size up would have been way too big. They're fairly comfortable, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to add an insert for more comfort. The red is so pretty in person. It's my first pair of Ferragamos and I'm sure it won't be the last. I would highly recommend this shoe.

This shoe is so comfortable and goes with anything that I have the Varina in several colors.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful! I had trouble figuring out my size, as the Medium width felt too narrow but the wide felt too wide! I also tried a size down and that didn't work, so I recommend sticking with your regular size and breaking them in. I found the heel quite stiff.

Beautiful shoe. But I agree with many of the previous reviews: This shoes runs very narrow. Sadly I have to return it since C or D width is not available.
