I have a narrow, low volume foot. Scarpa is supposed to fit narrow feet well, and they did not disappoint. I find usually that when I order the correct size for length, the toe box on many shoes is too side and feels huge and sloppy. These feel just right! In addition, on the top of the foot, even as low volume as my foot is, the lacing does not pull the two sides together so there is plenty of room for adjustment. They do not slip at the heel, either. All in all, very comfy. They feel like they will be great for both every day and hiking. Note: I always pull stock insoles out and put Superfeet in, but this doesn't really change the overall fit of the shoe.

These shoes are very supportive, but not bulky. If you need a stable shoe for a narrow or almost narrow foot, these are for you! I needed a good walking shoe. I ordered a 40.5 for my size 9 foot,.They fit great! I have a narrow heel and there is no slippage at all. My forefoot is between narrow and regular width. I had worn Keen for many years, but these are far more stable. They cost a bit more than Keen, but I can walk miles without foot and leg fatigue. I'd love to see these in more color choices!

Well constructed, very comfortable with good toe room. I wear a 6.5 and usually order a half-size up in this kind of shoe but did not do it this time. I like the support.

I wanted to keep this shoe, but needed just a wee bit more room for my problem forefoot. I have narrow heels and high arches also, and my heel slipped very slightly when I added my own arch support. They look very well made though, great cushioning in the sole! The shape is a little clunky for me too, I like a more rounded heel if possible. But I would have kept them if they'd fit, a nicely made shoe! I usually wear a size 8 (sometimes a 7-1/2), ordered the 8 and the length was perfect.

Good for narrow feet and heel. Could us just a bit more room in the toe box, but as long as I pay attention to my lacing it is fine. Great support, but I needed to add an insole to give me better cushion. Soles good for traction.

These shoes are not only extremely comfortable, but are also very supportive. They have a generous toe box, and the heel does not slip. The tongue and heal come up high enough to support my ankles, which I did not expect in a shoe that is not a boot.

I wasn't sure of size, so I ordered 2 sizes. This size I am returning as it is was too small. The size I kept is excellent and keeps my feet stable and well supported!

I have ordered many shoes from Zappos. It is about the only place to get AA's. I love this low waterproof hiker. I had to add a second insole because my feet are so narrow and low volume but I've worn it several times and think it is perfect. I wear a 8.5 -9.0 and that is what I ordered and it fits. It feels very secure on a rocky terrain.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and true to size. It is unusual to see European half sizes, so people should not have a problem getting a good fit. I have rather narrow feet, so I suppose if you have very wide feet, these might not work for you. I have yet to test them in a downpour, but they felt very good on the trail, providing good stability without being too heavy. They are very well made and the tongue is padded for comfort. The soles will last!

After trying 15 different kinds of hiking shoes I finally found this one! This is my second Scarpa shoe and it continues to be my favorite fit. I have a long narrow foot and Scarpa seems to be the fit for me. This shoe is great for hiking. A true fit, water proof, warm and did not require a break in period, fit from the moment I put it on.

I decided I needed a warmer and more rigid shoe for my daily walking and looked at the reviews on the Scarpa. They fit right out of the box and are quite comfortable. They have much better support than my tennis shoes. I'm glad I bought them.

Love these! I have a narrow foot, but these work fine for light hiking and all-day outdoor wear. Great arch support.

Nice footbed and like the neutral colors without being totally boring. This shoe was close to being the winner until I tried the Salewa brand which made me realize that my foot was rolling inward as I stepped in the Scarpa. If you have strong natural arches, you'd be fine in this shoe. Toe box is nice and roomy.

Liked the shoe, and it fitted. However, after a short time, it dug into the bottom of my ankle. I let the blister heel and tried again with a different tying arrangement. No dice. It still unfortunately dug into my ankle bone.
