I read the other reviews about this not covering their ears, but it fit over mine perfectly. I wear low profile caps too, so maybe the others have taller profile heads. Overall, this was exactly what I wanted and expected.

Good under helmet cap so long as you have straps holding the ear flaps down. Otherwise, the flaps don't really cover the bottom of your ears. The windstopper works and you can hear well with it on.

Really like the hat. It snugs good around the ears and really keeps the wind out. We live in the midwest and it's great for shoveling, playing in the snow with the kids, sledding, and skiing. Warm hat!

I own other OR products and have been satisfied with the quality and utility of them. My main disappointment with this hat is that it doesn't fully cover my ears. I tried a size larger, and the hat was loose enough to be blown away in the wind! So, it's a fabulous hat, but has an unfortunate design flaw that prevents it from keeping my earlobes warm.

Love this hat. I bought for hammock camping while sleeping. It fits great and does not slide up like sooooo many beanie type hats I have previously purchased. It is very warm and comfortable.

Excellent warmth/windblocking as described. Very good design with downward-curving of material covering well the bottom of earlobes -- which avoids my pet peeve: so many similar caps (as with your OR Booster Beanie) have the crown-depth too shallow and/or no downward-curve of material over bottom of earlobes which get exposed to frostbiting cold

15 degrees f, 20 mph wind, at night, 5 mile walk. Head stayed comfy warm, but not sweaty, and I couldn't feel the wind through it. Typical OR, does exactly what they said.

At first I purchased the L/XL, and that hat size was way to big for my head. I returned it, I purchased the S/M size, and the S/M hat fit my head perfectly. My head circumference is 22.5 inches. It's really well made, and it feels good on the head.

Great hat runs a bit smaller than the old ones.

Very comfortable full fleece lining hat which keeps your head toasty warm due to its GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER technology which minimizes head heat loss. The Wind Warrior also provides full coverage of the ears and upper neck which further prevents heat from escaping.

My ears don't get cold. Ohio, zero degrees with negative wind chill and my head is warm. Haven't tried it in rain yet but the snow fall is fine. Doesn't get soggy or cold in the snow fall. If you're looking for something to cover your whole ear and keep you warm even in the negatives this is it.

A warm, comfortable hate that also will hold up to snow and light rain. Note that the material is heavy enough that the ear flaps will impact your ability to hear, something I keep in mind in grizzly country. One-hundred percent satisfied.

Exceptionally warm and blocks wind when I ride my bike at 18F. I love it. I do, however, wish the sizing were better. My head measures large and it is a tad too big.

The hat is very well made & warm. It replaces an OR wind block cap that was several years old & had begun to stretch & was too loose. This cap is thicker and warmer. Great for CC skiing, snowshoeing and general outdoor activity.

This hat really excels when frigid air is also really blowing hard. I like how well it covered my ears and back of my neck. I could also flip the lower edge up when it was warmer and it stayed in place just fine.

This hat is great. It actually covers my ears and is definitely very warm and windproof since it has two fairly thick layers. It'll be keeping my head nice and toasty this winter.

I work at height in Detroit Michigan and this hat is the best I've used to fend off the bitter wind we get here off the river. Love the goretex as well.

I bought these to replace Mountain Hardwear Dome Perignons, which I've used for decades. These Wind Warriors are superior products, and they don't look as goofy. I've always appreciated OR products, and these hats do not disappoint!

I purchased two Wind Warrior hats and love them so much, I'll likely purchase two more (in case the model is discontinued). I use these types of products for backpacking, hiking, and around-town use in the Colorado high country. I've always appreciated OR's products, and these do not disappoint!

I bought this for a Montana Elk hunting trip, I haven't used it in cold weather yet but the size is perfect. I have trouble finding beanies big enough for my head and still cover my ears and this one is almost too big. I will update the review after the hunt!

I have this hat in Coyote, I needed a black version to wear when I don't blend in with everything and besides black is slightly more everyday. This hat performs just like my other coyote brown, these wash and wear very well. I certainly recommend this hat.

This was a gift for my dad and has been very happy with it. He has struggled to find a warm wind resistant hat that fits his large heard and he said this one is working great.

Awesome hat that replaced my discontinued similar hat from another company. OR has done an excellent job creating a warm hat that keeps your head and top of your neck warm in even Manitoba's worst windy winter days. Hope to be using this hat for years to come.
