These are probably the cutest boots ever. They meet all but one of my criteria for ideal boots to wear with skirts. Cute factor: Simple, clean lines, low heel, soft leather, fit like a glove. The problem? There is no support at all. You might as well be standing barefoot on the pavement. I tried gel inserts, which do help, but in the end I opted for a nearly as cute boot with much better cushioning and support. Seriously, Campers, how hard is it to mold a bit of shape into the insole? I'm sad, because otherwise I just loved 'em.

Love them! Simple and basic so go with anything, anywhere. No arch support per se so will be adding one of those gel ones. As with all Camper, order a full size up.

Love these, but they don't have my size and these fit too small. Sad face. But will try again some day. I wish they would bring back the "Brothers Impala" boot in black from Campers. Those were great boots. I just missed the boat on them. Another sad face.

These boots are so cute. I hoped that I would not like them because I did not want to spend this much on boots, but once I had them on I had to keep them. The leather is super soft and they are extremely comfortable. I have skinny calves (13&" circumference) so they are too wide, but I kept them anyway, because they are a smaller circumference then most boots I have tried. If you are looking for simple looking, timeless boots, that you could walk for miles in, then try these!

Camper, why? I got my first pair of Camper Spiral boots seven years ago and wore them constantly. The held up beautifully for five years, and then my feet grew when I was pregnant. I tried to replace my now too-small boots with the new Campers. My old campers were made in Hungary, were lined with soft leather, and fit my calf perfectly. The new Campers are made in China, lined with synthetic stuff, and crinkle horribly around the ankles and calves.

I love it; comfortable and feel good. You can wear all day long.

The shoes were perfect! The size was exactly correct, nothing out of the ordinary and some shoe companies can be a little fickle with sizing. I sprayed them down with a coating to make them waterproof. They took the coating well and are my new favorite shoes.

I was hoping these would be the perfect boots, but in person they look a lot like rubber rain boots, which was disappointing. As other reviewers mentioned, the insole is not that comfortable. I would not describe it as "generously cushioned." I have average-to-narrow calves and these were snug. Also, I thought they ran pretty true to size and so the pair I ordered (on the advice to size up) was too big.

I just ordered these boots and they are fantastic, comfortable, well made, but I had to return them because they were way too big for my calves. So, if you have slim calves don't order them, I could fit my whole hand down my leg!!! And they do run small, I ordered a 12 and barely had any room, with a thick sock and it was too tight, so order the next size up for sure. Other than that they felt really nice and I'm miffed they didn't work out for me.

These are beautiful and just what I was looking for. Way too small though. I wear a 40 in Danskos and could barely even get these on in a 40. I really like them though so I will be getting a bigger size.

So excited! Finally found a pair that fit my skinny calves - 13 in circumference, size 10. The rounded toe is rounder than I would like, but I don't care, they fit great, just enough room for a pair of skinny jeans with socks. And with the Camper sole, super comfy. What a relief! Thank you to Zappos for letting me try several pairs to get to these!

I love everything about these boots. They're sleek looking, and fit my average sized calves smoothly. (I'm 5'9" and 140 pounds). They're great with a skirt and tights to dress up for "business casual". Excellent traction with a sleek, sophisticated look. Well made, too. Love, love!

These boots are perfect, but I had to return them. I am short (5') and the boot hit me right at my knee. :( So bummed. They are exactly what I want and I can't find anything else. I am a huge fan of barefoot running. I believe that shoes should fit your feet. Not vice versa. Camper does a great job with making adorable shoes that work with your natural stride and allow your toes to spread. This boot is perfect for someone active that wants a stylish boot. I just need it to be about 1.5'' shorter.

Great look and great fit. Round toed and no heel, exactly the kind of European look I was seeking. The shank fit was great too, not loose and yet just enough space to tuck in jeans. But as others have also written, they completely lack any arch support and the foot bed is thin, thin, thin! Inside my home, I could feel the move from a thin rug to the wooden floor. I cannot even imagine walking on the streets, especially cobble-stone streets or wintered streets. For this price, couldn't Camper have at least bolstered the foot bed a bit? Alas, I am going to return them. Buying shoes online is so difficult. But Zappos makes it easy, especially those of us living in the backwoods.

I have had the brown version which I adore, especially with thinner calfs. Unfortunately I thought the black boots looked more like rain boots. They are going back.

I have a pair of camper spiral boots from 2006 that I still wear. Best boots I've ever had. They have amazing leather that is only now beginning to wear and are soft and supportive. These new spirals are nothing like them. Stiff leather, no lining (the others had a soft green leather lining--so pretty and comfortable). These feel a bit like rainboots. Sad.

I have had multiple pairs of this boot in the past, and this new version is far inferior! The foot bed is considerably more narrow and the leather, lining and construction are cheap by comparison. This is not the boot I was expecting from camper, which is sad, because in that past, the "spiral" has been one of my favorite, most comfortable boots i have ever worn.
