I was so disappointed in this shoe. I should have paid attention to the other reviews. The size ran large, they felt terrible and after four hours the back of the shoe actually caused my heels to bleed. I used to love florsheim shoes but have been disappointed in the last two pairs I have purchased. I returned these for Johnston and Murphy harding panel lace ups and they were like heaven compared to these.

The shoe length was approx. 2 inches too long. I ordered a size 8.5 3E. The shoe size was marked correctly but the shoe length was about 2 to 2.5 inches too long. My stepson who wears a size 11 though that I ordered the shoes for him.

I am normally a fan of Florsheim. The products are incredibly comfortable and durable. The Noble brand lasts forever, it's remarkable. This comes from someone who destroys dress shoes in a couple months easy. However, these were not at all comfortable and actually painful to break in. They tore into the back of my ankle. Bad lot, I don't know, but I cannot recommend them.

My husband couldn't even get his foot into the shoe. Too long and narrow in the toe, no support for his arches.

I purchased these shoes based on reading a lot of other Zappos reviews. Overall, these shoes are true to those positive reviews with regard to fit and comfort. I purchased these a few months ago and finally took them out of the box to wear them. After about 2 weeks of on/off wear, I still can't get rid of a strong chemical smell from them. I store these in cedar shoe trees and in a closet out of the box. I do give them time to breathe. It's pretty frustrating b/c the odor is strong, so I don't wear these shoes on days of important meetings (don't want to subject others to the smell or be the guy with he smelly shoes). Solely for the chemical smell, this shoe is getting a poor rating.

Let me fist say that Zappos customer service really wowed me time and time again! I have not seen such great consumer care anywhere! Now to the actual shoe. The shoe has a nice look and is very comfortable; however, the interior of the shoe seems to be "junk." I wore two pairs and it got damaged after wearing them three months only! I do a daily walk to work for 15 minutes each day, and I've been wearing other pairs for more than two years, but this one didn t'last for more than three months. My first pair got multiple holes on the inside sole till the metal piece from the sole, the metal piece was digging a hole into my heel and caused me an infection. Zappos customer service were really helpful by sending me a new pair of the same shoes at no cost (wow!). However, here again after two months the interior lining of my left shoe started peeling off, and after three months my right interior sole got two holes till the metal piece which is hurting me again. I will need to get rid of this shoe or pay money to repair the shoe.
