I love La Canadienne boots and shoes. Love, love, love them! I have owned, and own many over the years. I live near Seattle. It rains 9 months of the year. Walking between stores, just to the car, around the block with my dog, waiting for the bus, your feet will get wet. And these wonderful boots are waterproof, and keep their waterproofness for years! They are stylish. I bought these for a very current casual look with jeans and a leather jacket. The boots come in different insulating levels, so I have some for very cold weather, and these for coolish weather. These work in the office too, no need to have office shoes. And they regularly have larger sizes (I'm an 11), and a variety of heels (I like lower heels 'cause I'm already 6' tall). I do wish they made more waterproof shoes, I wore my last ones to disintegration, and guess what, they never lost their waterproofness. Absolutely, buy now, and La Canadienne, keep 'em coming!

These are my favorite go to boots for weather in Minnesota. They are waterproof, lined for warmth, good sole to prevent slipping on ice, yet look stylish. They are not the moon boots of my youth which were required to keep feet warm. They seem to run slightly big but I wear thicker socks in winter. These are my fourth pair of La Canadienne boots. They are expensive, but when my puppy chewed up my last pair I had to reorder. Zappos is the best place to order shoes in terms of quick delivery, and easy returns.

Love these boots. Look great, and fit great. I have thick ankles and they fit perfect, not too tight. I have high arches and still have to add a little arch support, but otherwise are very comfortable and look great with jeans.

Love the style, but the color is different than the advertised picture.

Bought three pairs of boots and these are my favorite. Comfortable soft leather. Great style for slim pants. Fit perfectly and also great that they are water proof.

Unbelievably comfortable -- like all La Canadienne boots. But I was looking for something a little more "feminine". Seriously though -- right out of the box and the whole afternoon walking around in the house with the shoe snug to my feet but not a stitch anywhere, not a tug anywhere, better than barefoot. Amazing.

I ordered a half size smaller than normal, as the previous pair of La Canadiennes became too big once the fluffy (sheepskin?) lining had worn down. They are comfortable and will be very useful for wearing on days that I will be walking a lot - especially in the rain!

Couldn't wait to get this boot. Loved the look, true to size but no arch support. Might be comfortable depending on your foot. Function over form won out for this price and they were returned. Have other LaCanadienne boots and the arch support is fine so I think it depends on the style.

I love this boot. I normally wear a 42 in Danskos if this helps with sizing. I also bought the Caleb in this brand. I tried the Caleb in Black and also the Camilla in the smooth dark brown - both styles with those colors made the boot appear larger. This soft brown suede allows both these styles to look more petite in a larger size. The inner lining is also comfortable and not too thick. I can slip them on in the morning without a pair of socks to take the dog out and the lining makes my bare feet feel as comfortable as if I were wearing slippers.

These boots are very well made and worth the price. Took the advice of others and ordered 1/2 size smaller and they are just right. There is no better/faster company to buy from than Zappos. Hope they never change.

I own the black leather version of these boots and absolutely love them. I live in NYC and walk around in them everywhere. They are so comfy and have great support. With the brown suede, however, I am having issues with receiving pairs that do not have stains. The first pair I ordered had what looked like an oil stain on the top of the boot. I returned and now the second pair I received from Zappos has a sticky spot on the side of the boot. I am not sure if the fabric is more susceptible to stains, but for the price, I want to start with a fresh clean pair of boots!

The details say to order 1/2 size down. I did so and it was perfect. These are expensive but awesome!! Cute, flattering, and I’ve worn them almost everyday since getting them last week. Walking in snow in Canada and now back in rain in San Francisco. I am a fan of these boots!!

Love these boots! I love slim ankle that goes higher than most booties--they look great with cropped pants, and quite honestly keep my ankles warmer during windy, freezing weather! I typically take a 7.5 in boots and took a 7.5 in these. They fit perfectly with no break in period and do not stretch out with wear like some other boots do.

Loved these boots! They fit true to size with a comfortable width for my some what wide and flat foot. So stylish with rolled up jeans. Loved them so much after I received them I ordered them in the other color. All I can say is order them, they don’t disappoint.

Very comfortable, sturdy, and stylish. What could be better?. Not inexpensive, but I'm counting on them lasting a long time.

This is the most comfortable boot I've ever owned, and that was right out of the box. It's sturdy and warm without being hot and in my standard size (11) I can wear thick wool socks as well. The shaft easily fits under my jeans without any gaps at the top that shorter pants could catch on. It's a jeans boot; I definitely wouldn't wear it with a dress, skirt or pants, no matter how casual. Though, I bought it for much colder, snowy weather, it's already become one of my go-to everyday boots for jeans.

I am generally a fan of La Canadienne because of their quality and comfort, and these boots are no exception. I balked a bit at the price, but in the end reasoned that if I bought them, I would be getting what I actually wanted without settling: comfort, good looks, and warmth.

This is my 2nd pair of La Canadienne boots and my new favorite. Great fit (I bought a half size larger than I usually wear), great design and comfort. They seem very sturdy and well-made. I get lots of compliments on the color, too. Love them!

I love this boot. So comfortable, so stylish, a real go to boot. Works with different pant lengths. Works in bad weather. Just fantastic!

I am quite petite and have narrow ankles and calves, but these boots are uncomfortably tight around the lower calf. I didn't realize the problem until I wore them for a few hous.

Very clearly high quality. Boot is comfortable. The part that sits over the ankle is not super wide, so these work with my skinny-ish ankles. Strap with buckle can be adjusted, it's not just there for looks.

Two years later, and these boots look nearly brand new, although I wear them every day in the winter, trumping through salt and slush. All I do is rinse them when I get home and the next morning they look new again. They are amazing!

This is a beautiful, well-made boot, however, the fit is very narrow. I normally wear a 12 medium and, unfortunately, the boot fits narrow. It's too bad the company does not make this boot in wide-width! I think if it were a bit wider, then it would make for a stylish and warm boot!

These are amazing! I have purchased La Canadienne boots before and they are worth the price. They are warm, comfortable and stylish. I spend a lot of time in the rain and snow in winter. With a pair of wool socks, my feet stay dry and warm. Love, love, love these!

This is luxurious footwear. Got a half-size smaller than usual. Still accommodates my heavier socks. Spend the money. You'll wear them forever!

Also liked the Born Faline for a rougher look and feel . . . Went a half size larger on that one!
