I purchased these boots because of the style, color and brand. However, not had the opportunity to wear them out on the town as yet, when I tried them on at home they felt great and pretty much true to size. The truest test will be when I actually wear them, then I will know for sure but I feel confident they will be fine and comfortable, I only rated the boots a 4 because I have not worn them as yet but I like the quality and they look well made.

These La Canadienne boots are divine. I bought mine in October of 2015 and I am still wearing them and hey look fantastic. I get them cleaned and have heal caps put under the heal once a year but that's it. I could have taken better car of them. But they still look good with band knew black jeans. I also wear them with vintage dresses and they compliment fantastically. So bare legged, tights or jeans these boots work for me. 4 years of wear in NJ fall and winter weather! Comfort unparalleled. I have a little inflammation in my big toe which heels usually incite, but not these boots. They are worth EVERY Penny. They are everything. La Canadienne is the truth! These are incidental pictures I cropped from pictures. My calves are not large and no skinny. I'm 5'5". After a lot of walking around and no tights or jeans, they can slouch but they pull right back and say a good long while. The one where I'm seated you can see the worst that these 4 year old books look. Just rubbing the pale spots often returns the suede back to black. But it's time go to get these cleaned. Everywhere I go people comment on my style and shoes make a style work. These certainly do.

Great style and comftable. I thought the heel would be too high, but with the platform, they are the perfect height. I can walk all day with no problems. Love La Canadienne shoes

i am 5' size 4 and have celebrated my golden anniversary so I didn't think I'd find such a beautiful boot with 3" heels that I could still comfortably wear. They look stunning with my full length mink for my visits north. They also look classy with skinny pants on cold days here in Florida. Usually I order a few sizes but this time they I ordered my usual size (61/2) & they fit perfect. The leg is very fitted so only leggings type pants would fit inside. The little metal hardware add to the very classy look. As usual, zappos is the zapposiest!!!! Thank you for making shopping so easy.

Well worth the money. Best fitting, most comfortable boots I've ever owned. Warm without being hot - waterproof and insulated lightly. Fit my skinny calves and ankles. Look professional with a dress and/or skirt suit. They do not quite come to the bottom of the knee on me, but they are so wonderful, I simply don't care. Sometimes a size 8, usually an 8.5 (USA) - ordered an 8.5 and fits perfectly. The buttons up top are not silver, they are a black metal so not a commitment to silver jewelry. My next pair of boots will be La Canadienne again.

These are the best boots! I wear them with skinny jeans, leggings, skirts and dresses whenever it is cold or I need a good walking alternative to super high heels. The suede is to die for and is very breathable (no sweaty feet!), and the buttons add just he right amount of nice detail while staying classic. It is waterproof which is awesome! I have wide feet + bunions, and these felt narrow the first few wears, even with thin socks. However, after stretching them out and wearing for a couple weeks, they are fine now. The heel is the perfect height, but I also think the arch support is a little lacking because the balls of my foot tend to feel a little sore after a day of wear. All in all this is the perfect boot.

This boot looks great and is super comfortable. The inside is lined with fleece and it is somehow structured to provide support and real comfort. A winner!

I loved both the Kara and the Mazy. The Kara is slightly wider overall but the Mazy is still very comfortable just a little sleeker. The buttons on the Mazy are gunmetal and very discreet. I have other boots from La Candienne and I am impressed with their style and durability. They are worth every penny. However, I realized I would prefer a boot that is dressier and higher on my leg. Do not hesitate to purchase these boots.

I am amazed at how much I love these boots. They are gorgeous and beautifully made. Worth every penny. And don't even get me started on how truly comfortable they are! I've never had a heel that I couldn't wait to take off at the end of the day! Pricey, yes. But these will end up costing pennies for each wear in the long run.

I'll never want another brand of boot. La Canadienne is my favorite, and this Mazy boot is wonderfully comfortable, warm, and attractive. I've never felt comfortable in heels until the Mazy...

Okay, I live in Portland, OR and it rains a lot here. I wanted a "rain boot" that was sexy and functional. These boots were the most expensive shoe purchase I have ever made...but I read the reviews and thought they sounded (and looked equally) amazing, so I bought them. So glad I did! They are a dream. They are so comfortable and look sleek and sexy in person. I receive lots of compliments on them!

Aaaahhh, I loved these Mazy Boots from the moment I touched them! I unzipped the left one, slipped my foot inside--heaven. THEN I tried to zip them up! I could only get them 1/3 (barely) of the way zipped--there was no way I was going to be able to even close the gap between the zipper teeth the rest of the way. I wear a Size 5 1/2 M shoe; I measured my calf at 13" just to make sure I could wear these boots--I don't have heavy legs (I'm 110#), but they aren't sticks. I thought that with a full zipper, plus goring at the top, these would be fine. Now if you have a skinny ankle and calf, they should be fabulous. The lining is wonderful, the suede is terrific, the style itself is fab. I want to cry! (P.S. I marked all five starts for "Overall", that was an error, but I was unable to correct and should have just been one star)!

Love these boots. Super comfortable. I have larger calves but they hug without binding. This was my first purchase of this brand and thoroughly pleased. Will buy in this brand again.

Love this! Love the almond toe, the tapered heel, the arch support, the color, the everything! But...I really need a brown that's truer to dark chocolate and this Moka color is very grey brown. Beautiful. But not as multipurpose in my closet. So I'm keeping the brown Kara boot instead. Also, my narrow foot was happy in this boot. It runs just slightly narrower than Kara with a higher heel. Alas. Pragmatism trumps. I may come back for this style in black, depending on how my black boots do this winter.

I love La Canadienne boots, this makes my 3rd pair. Living in New England it makes sense to invest more and not worry about your dress boots being ruined in rain or snow. I have a slightly wider than average foot, but can get away with some normal width shoes comfortably depending on the toe box. Usually, this means switching from 7 1/2 wide to 8M. I tried the 8, 8 1/2 and 9 in this style. It was only the 9 I could wear (with super thin socks.)

Best ever dress boots I could find. Very comfortable from day one, no need to break in and fit my petite frame perfectly (5'1, 98lbs). I got both black and brown, can't be happier!

As soon as I put this on, I knew that this was the dress boot that I have been searching for. It was instant, blissful comfort on my feet, as well as very stylish and form-fitting. I plan to wear this with dresses and skirts. It looks great with all lengths, as it conforms to the shape of your leg. I am a true size 8.5 and the 8.5 fits perfectly with room for tights or socks. I bought it in the brown and plan to get it in the black, also. La Canadienne is right up there with Stuart Weitzman for style, comfort, and quality - for less money.

These boots had me so excited. I love this brand, and the Mazy is a gorgeous boot. It is slim enough to hug my skinny little calves and feels so comfortable. You would never know this is a 3" heel. However, I hadn't noticed in the online pics that there is a seam running down the center of the toe. To me, there is no excuse for splitting the leather into two pieces on a pair of boots. It looks cheap. Maybe that's just me. So sadly, they went back. LOVED everything else about them.

Really comfortable and they definitely fit a smaller calf. I really wanted to keep these, but they aren't tall enough and it looks a bit goofy with skirts that hit above the knee.

This is my second pair of La Canadienne boots. I ordered these for a work trip where I need to look professional, be on my feet all day and walk to and fro in bad weather. The boots look awesome (have received complements) and feel true to size. I like that the suede is waterproof--I live in Seattle and they have gotten both wet and muddy just walking to the car--clean up nice and look great. I have found with this brand that my feet can get a little sore after a LONG day in them (9 - 10 hours at a trade show). Otherwise, these look great and are ideal for winter months!!

These boots are so comfortable right out of the box. I have muscular calves and they've been great even over skinny jeans. They other bonus is that they are really warm and keep your feet dry! Can't go wrong!

These boots are beautiful! I didn't want to love them because they are expensive. But the quality is amazing - beautiful, rich, soft suede and beautifully crafted. So they are a keeper. They are super comfortable; I have trouble with my feet and most high heels hurt or are hard to walk in. These feel so good. The width around the calf is smaller, which is why i decided to try these. I have 'stick' legs and all other boots just flop around. These fit nicely with a bit of room to spare or to tuck in some skinny jeans. These will get a lot of wear with skirts, dresses, leggings and jeans. Love!

These are high quality boots that are sexy and comfortable. They fit okay with regular jeans, but I suggest wearing skinny jeans or leggings for maximum comfort. These boots are obviously made to be sleek and contouring around your legs. They have some amount of give around the calves, but not much. They do not seem prone to slouch which makes them even sexier in my book. I wear a size 8 and have a wider foot than most; I bought the size 8 since most people felt they were true to size. I mostly agree with that consensus, but caution those who are unsure it may be safer to go a half size larger just because the boot is plenty sleek and sexy, and you will no doubt feel more comfortable with a little more wiggle room. I believe I could wear either the 8 or the 8.5 comfortably. So far I ve worn them during my 9 hour long work shifts and they continue to be comfy. I also ordered Not Rated's Self Flattery boot (super cute but not all the comfortable), and Anne Klein's Joetta Wide Calve (being returned) when I ordered these. Of these 3 boots, this is my hands-down favorite. All in all, these are terrific boots (quality and looks are A+) that are worth the high price tag.
